Just one turn away from the Main Street a nice little shop. We had Crepes of the day with cheese meatballs and Panini. Nice people there, families with children and grandma.

Absolutely delicious full Scottish breakfast.. Just what we needed before a busy day shopping.. Lovely warm welcome and quality establishment..in the wise words of Arnie.. I'll be back!!

There are two sides to every story and we witnessed the whole incident. I'm not going to bore folks with what truly happened but what's being put out is twisted. Despite the nonsense going on we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and couldn't believe how popular the cafe is. We thought the quality of the food and service was excellent, great to see a local business thriving and popular with the locals, Always a good sign when owners and staff are on first name terms with their customers. Looking forward to our next visit

The male owner was aggressive and confrontational towards a mother of a young child who had an allergic reaction in the cafe. The waitress had already been informed of the little girl’s allergies, and yet the food provided triggered a reaction. His immediate concern should have been the health of his young customer but instead he directed anger at her mother. Entirely unhelpful and unprofessional. It makes you question food safety standards at this cafe.

The owners attitude/knowledge of allergies is a risk to the public! Went there for lunch with my 4 year old and baby and informed the waitress that my daughter has a milk/egg/nut allergy. Whilst eating her food she started feeling unwell so I gave some medicine and was in the process of giving her inhaler when the cook/owner came over. He said that my daughter should not have eaten out as it is not safe with her allergies. If he did not feel he was able to cater for her allergies he should not have provided the food! He then continued to claim that my daughter was not having an allergic reaction in a confrontational manner. It is hard enough for a 4 year old to be able to recognise the signs of an allergic reaction and tell someone so she can receive help. The incident has really shaken her up and knocked her confidence when it comes to food. Her milk allergy is very serious having required an epipen and ambulance assistance in the past. The reaction she had in the cafe was mild but the owners care for customer safety is appalling. His only concern was trying to prove she was not having a reaction. Luckily my daughter is ok but with the owners attitude towards allergies they will seriously hurt someone and they will not even care.

Me and my partner went here and had a savory crepe, savory waffle and a bubble waffle. The bubble waffle was amazing, I had the really chocolatey one. Although I would only have a sweet bubble waffle next time as they are very big and filling. Perfect for people with a sweet tooth.Great covid precautions as well.

Walk in with a colleague. Great coffee. Nice atmosphere. Will be back. Might try the food next time!

First time here with my wife and grandson, and wasn't disappointed. Very friendly staff, it had a nice atmosphere. I had mouthwatering Banoffee ice cream doughnut with oodles of cream, toffee sauce & fudge, grandson had the orio version. My wife had a delicious fruit scone & tea, whilst us boys had large tasty cappuccinos. Cheery service and most inviting place. Certainly be making a return visit

Done some fantastic crepes with egg replacer as we don’t eat egg, and it was out of this world! A must for the family. Milkshakes from Heaven!!!

We sat outside which was nice but moved before ordering due to smokers smoke. The food was very nice as was the coffee. However, someone vaping created clouds of smoke and we saw to couples sit but leave before ordering. Think some no smoking vaping signs would benefit sales.

What a lovely little cafe! We found this place after a walk around the city in the rain. Fabulous service and all 4 children (and the parents!) enjoyed the ice cream and waffles.

Great panini and coffee. Stopped here for a bite to eat while walking round Elgin. It was a very pleasant surprise when the bill was half price due to the government scheme.

Phone to ask what time closed told 5 drove 20 miles arrived at 4.35 to be told everything was off and they closed terrible service

This cafe / restaurant is situated a couple of buildings along from 'Against The Grain' and a short minute or so walk from the High Street.My wife ordered the 'Crepes' dish and to be fair, it looked amazing. Not only was it a good sized portion but they were dripping in 'Chocolate', and the smells emulating from the dish were mouthwatering. She had an 'Orange Juice' (fresh) which she also enjoyed.My 'Coffee' was of top quality and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, my 'Vegetarian' Breakfast was underwhelming. Positives - the 'Egg' was cooked perfectly, the 'Hash Brown' was lovely and I got a good portion of 'Toast'. Negatives - the 'Avocado' was bland, there were a lack of 'Mushrooms' on the plate (four), the 'Tomatoes' weren't cooked and the plate, as a whole, did not promote Vegetarianism in an exciting way.I think I would revisit this place in the future but would definitely review the menu and choose something different. There are definitely more promising options.

Having never visited decided to give it a try as had seen photos of their “freakshakes” and thought it would be a nice back to school treat.It’s a lovely wee place inside with a nice atmosphere, a little different from most places but I liked it and it was busy enough as there were no tables free when we visited.The menu is however a little limited for me personally with just panini’s and crepes on offer and I did struggle to choose something without being too picky. I opted for the salmon panini with dill, caper (without Philadelphia) and it was really tasty. In comparison to other eateries nearby it is slightly overpriced for a panini but I did enjoy it.My daughter choose the “kids picky eater tray” which I thought was a nice idea again at £5 for a child I do feel it was over priced for what she had.The freakshake looked good and certainly something different for Elgin but again at £6 I am not sure was worth the money as half of it ended up wasted. Perhaps if they offered a “half size freakshake” at £3 I would definitely hurry back.I did notice the menu certainly has many sweet dishes, banana split is my ultimate favourite which you cannot get anywhere in Elgin but I would not spend £7 on a banana split. It is a nice place and I am glad I visited but based on cost I am not too sure I would be in a hurry to visit which is a shame or frequent every weekend. I have left a good review because the place itself is really nice, the staff were attentive and we were seated as soon as we arrived, it didn’t take too long for our order to arrive and I did enjoy my panini.

Went here second time and had terrific tasting food. Greek salad, lentil soup and panini with brie. Yummi!!! The service is so friendly and we just have to back next time!!

Been eating here since they first opened. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. My children love to come here for a bubble waffle and a freakshake.

Fantastic crepes, I would highly recommend the Salmon Philadelphia and the chefs style, both were scrumptious. We will be back to try the waffles and sweet crepes.

This was my first visit although the family had been before.Service was friendly and efficient and we didn’t wait long for our order. My crepe with ice cream and maple syrup was lovely and the girls enjoyed their waffles with various toppings and a couple of milkshakes which they described as being just ok.I enjoyed my crepe but the place is pretty pricey for Elgin I feel. For a crepe, a waffle with various toppings and ice cream plus two milkshakes and a fanta was £25! Only other gripe was their bathroom is badly in need of a refurb.Would I go back? No, too expensive for what you get.

Came here for breakfast on my birthday as a special treat and I’m so glad I did! Service was fast and polite, food was high quality and the atmosphere was lovely. We were the first people in that morning but it quickly filled up around us. The portion sizes were great and it was cheap compared to the competing cafes in the area. I will definitely be a regular visitor from now on!

My family and l walked-in for lunch in our first day of stay in the region and since then we have returned every single day for the following 7 we have stayed. The food was verry good, well prepared. Also, the serving was fast and professional. Our boys were thrilled each time for the varieties they offer. Definitely we recomend this place!

19 crepes and coffee has become my favourite place to go with friends and my boyfriend. It’s cosy and the pricing is affordable. There is a lot of food and drinks to chose from and all taste amazing. I definitely recommend it, it’s worth a trip and you can see for yourself. Many of my friends have said they are glad that Elgin has a place like this. 10/10 :)

We have been visiting 19 Crepes and Coffee for a long time now, and have always been delighted with the food and extremely friendly personal service. Nothing is too much trouble and we are always made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend to all.

We regularly visit this friendly family run place to eat for lunch with excellent customer service and value for money.

Me and afew friends went for lunch the other week but have been many time prior to this, staff are always lovely and friendly I had the Caesar salad and it was one of the best salads I’ve had I would say for my taste was abit to much dressing but I mean some people would say not enough so it’s personal preference.

Popped in for a late breakfast and were so happy with the quality and service, we returned later for an afternoon Crepe. Very nice menu and very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

It is obviously a popular and busy location , we were lucky to find a table. Best vegetarian burger I’ve had in a very long time ( and I’m very difficult to pleased ) . My partner had a speciality of the week ( ham and cheese panini , yummmm, yummmm). After I had a cheese scone which was the best scone I’ve had .

I came across this charming little Cafe a while ago and it’s become my family’s favourite place to get lunch. The crepes are beautiful and freshly made with a wide variety of fillings. True also of the bubble waffles. My sin loves the freak snakes. The family who run it are warm, friendly and obliging, nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend!

We, as a family just LOVE this place. We are regulars for sure. We usually have the breakfast which is just delicious. Also my kids love the “I love you chocolate” crepe - it’s to die for. If you are looking for fresh and something different - this is the place to go, the staff are all so lovely too.

I am a traveler.I have been around the world because I like a lot to do so! Recently I have been visiting Scotland two times this year, because you really have to see a lot there..Castles with history, spectacular shores, but amazing friendly people. I have to tell you about my experience at this restaurant....Very nice staff indeed, They were like friends who I've didn't see them from long time ago! I did have a very nice conversation with Alina-her name- And the breakfast was ...very very good! - The cook is so talented and fast. I was visiting the cathedral, the monument, spending some time in the town and I was thinking to go back for the lunch at the 19. Hah!

The pancakes were heavenly! We were going through town one Monday afternoon and when we saw the place we couldn't avoid going in (damn you, cravings). Bad decision for my weight loss goal for sure, but the pancakes were very tasty. Definitely recommended. The staff was very friendly, definitely a warm welcome.

Highly recommended!!! Amazing place! Lovely stuff, very friendly. They make you feel so welcome. Always there to help find a seat etc. I’m coming from Inverness an hour drive just to eat at this place! Food soooo good. And the desserts are absolutely amazing.

I love this wonderful place. I enjoyed a bubble waffle and next day I returned for a sundae. I highly recommended.

My friends and I go almost every day and we have never felt so welcomed into anywhere else. The service is excellent and the standards of the food I have eaten are always the very best! The owners are very personable and make time to speak with us when an opportunity arises, this again makes us feel very welcome. The atmosphere created is very relaxing so working on my laptop or pad is very much a joy when here. The music is carefully selected and is varied everyday so you will always hear new musical pieces creating the calming atmosphere needed to make you focus on your work.

Visited here on Monday with 8 members of family. We walked in the door and no one even acknowledged us the waitress with colourful hair and man which i think was the owner just stared at us and watched us pull tables and chairs together to form a table big enough. If it wasn’t for the fact the kids wanted to eat here then i would of walked out. I have worked in catering for 7 years myself and think its highly rude not to be acknowledged and not to accommodate paying customers. Food is fantastic however service is not. Won’t be back again.

Worth it, such a large portion of pancake and fruit. Last minute drop in, so really hospitable to arriving 15mins before close. Stuffed and will be back for more.

19 crepes provides an amazing atmosphere, great prices and brilliant food. The only issue I had were there tables and that was resolved very quickly with new ones. 😂

Popped in with my mum for a quick lunch. I chose the Caesar salad and my mum had the goats cheese salad. Well.. they were.. AMAZING! I’ve ha da lot of salads and normally they are “boring” and there is no effort to make them appealing. I cannot say this about our salad. It was beautifully presented and also filling (which is hard to accomplish with most salads) after we had a bubble waffle with toppings, again we were not disappointed. It’s a very clean cafe and the food is delicious. I will be back 100%

Popped in for a coffee and was lucky to get a table. As we were in a hurry we just had a coffee but the service was quick and the coffee was great! However we did watch plate after plate of delicious looking food pass us by. The waffles looked amazing with lots of variations. This is quite a new business but is certainly adding to the Buzz on Batchen street.

My daughter & I absolutely love coming here. Cafe is clean & welcoming, staff are warm & friendly. My favourite thing to eat is a bubble waffle, although the pancakes are delicious too. Always have my bubble waffle with fruit (so I can kid myself it's healthy) & fruit flavoured ice cream. My daughter always goes for the chocolatey option. Both are amazing, always look forward to eating here.

Heard good things so decided to pay a visit. Ordered chicken and cheese crepe, unavailable so not the best start. Waiter wrote down out order on two sheets resulting in our order getting mixed up in the kitchen. We were brought out desserts which i asked to return as i would prefer to have my main first. This was done without a fuss but did seem to irritate the waiter who pretty much immediately went to smoke at front door. Eventually got mains which were nice but had to flag down another waiter, amy as we hadnt uet recieved drinks. Amy was apologetic and returned quickly with our drinks and apologised on behalf of manager. I do feel like manager should have done it personally but am grateful some of the staff understood the mix up. It was certainly an experience. I would return but not as a sit in customer. It seems like too much hassle for them. Apart from amy who as i said was lovely

We all went in with high hopes of this place, disgusting service and they really couldn’t even give a crap one bit. 3 is us went in and sat down. We ordered 2 bubble waffles and a crepe. 10 minutes later a bubble waffle and crepe came out and we expected the other bubble waffle to be out soon. 10 minutes later when we had finished our and the other bubble waffle hadn’t come out STILL.

Been meaning to pop into this creperie for a long time and managed to do so today. Wow, just WOW. The crepes are amazing; freshly cooked, stuffed full, and the filling choice of either sweet or savoury will please even the fussiest of diners. This is an absolute gem of a little restaurant / cafe. Friendly staff, great food and excellent value; what more could you ask for? I'll definitely be back.

Looking for something different and popped in to try this new place out. Did not think we could manage whole crepe so we asked to share one. Which was not a problem and when it arrive they had split onto two plates, so much thought we had two. Excellent service and staff working hard to keep tables clear.
