Service is good - food is ok but a bit on the pricey side for what it is. The decor of the place is very nice and you can see the owners have put a lot of money into the place although every time I’ve visited it’s probably been at 20% capacity… so not sure, maybe needs to be marketed more. Recommend the chicken lollipops!

The restaurant was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The food quality was satisfactory, although the portion sizes were somewhat disproportionate to the price. We enjoyed a pleasant family dining experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a delightful evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that all our needs were met without being intrusive. The menu offered a wonderful variety of dishes would definitely come back again.

Great service, fantastic food, not over priced considering the quality of the dishes. Our servers were very kind and prompt, dishes arrived hot and presented very well. My party left very satisfied and full after a delicious 3 course meal. Thank you guys.

Went for a christmas meal 19 of us with 10 kids which we mentioned when booking. Staff not too friendly stood st the end of our table watching us est, very uncomfortable then when we were going to order dessert they took one of our tables and set it up for other customers. Dinner for 19 is not a 5 min job and this should of been respected. They lost out as we were all going to odmrder dessert. Food was very good but the staff not so

This is the only restaurant where the pictures online is exactly what you get. Food was all sensational , service was quick! We travelled one hour to eat here and stayed in a nearby hotel…..we would absolutely do it again!!!

Gorgeous restaurant beside the lake. Food was delicious especially the starters (we ordered chicken wings and beef bao). The mains were mouthwatering and flavoursome. I highly recommend this place!

Best experience ever. The flavours of the food were incredible. Each dish wasn't just a throw of typical spices. You could see the efforts and creation gone into each dish. The vibes at the shisha section (I didn't have shisha) were incredible. A nice more darker vibe at night and great view of river. I really enjoyed my experience. Staff were friendly. This was fantastic and I'm coming again to try other dishes. I had the drumsticks Beef chettinand Masala fries (nice and saucy) Prawn curry can't remember the exact name. Lamb biryani which had wonderful vibrant mint flavour. Loved it.

I went to this restaurant with my family after seeing amazing reviews online. Sadly the service didn’t live up to our expectations and felt a specific member of staff Mohammed was reluctant to be accommodating despite knowing our requirements (baby chairs) and number of guests prior to arriving as we had made a reservation. The other members of staff were friendly but Mohammed made us feel quite uncomfortable. The food was flavourful and arrived quite quickly. We enquired about a dish but were given the wrong info about the quantity which was disappointing. All in all, I wouldn’t say it’s worth a two hour drive from London.

The food tastes very good, however some are very spicy. The Pod was nice and warm. The frozen raspberry and frozen blueberry sisha was very nice as well and not too expensive. I went twice to eat in and ordered for takeaway the third day in a row.

lovely atmosphere, lovely staff... but the food BLAND i swear my date svg I go out regularly and I even took it away and ate turtle bay and that's saying shunting because turtle bay isn't all that ethier, the lamb shank presentation beautiful but defo seasoned that day no way days before drinks where lovely though, wouldn't be quick to go again.

Lamb shank biryani was just amazing, and the chicken lollipop and great flavour. Loaded fries were out of this world. All the meats were tender and cooked to perfection. Best shisha I've had. Staff were amazing, warm welcoming, and very helpful. Made us feel comfortable.

So wanted to give my honest opinion about this establishment, went last week for Mrs bday For starters had the cheese balls as saw some food influences rave about them but in all honesty they just tasted like your average pakoreh with some cheese in it, I would avoid these. The chaat was nice but for the price they were missing some stuff. Loaded beef fries were lovely however and the lamb shank biryani was good to with depth of flavour. Mocktail too was good but for the price maybe could have had a bigger portion size. Same goes with them charging ridiculous price for Highland Spring Bottle when can buy from supermarket for £1.50 yet they charge £4.50, little things like that annoy me to end so room for improvement but nice place to go to.

This was the best meal I have ever had I am a returning customer and I tried their new lamb shank biryani it was so good we ordered another. The service was excellent as always. They do not serve alcohol which made me happy as I felt safe to bring my family here.

They DO NOT serve tap water! Legally any restaurant that serves alcohol must provide tap water(naughty, naughty breaking the law) You have to order bottle water & only enough for 2 people per bottle (8 of us went). The food was ok nothing special, portion size was on the small size so the money paid for what I ordered was defo not worth it ( £20 for a biryani that came with no side dish!). It is COLD in there! The doors kept on opening as there is a mid section between rooms that do shisha & no shisha (at least provide heaters so people can eat without their food going cold quicker as well as their bodies freezing over!). Over all not a very good experience & will definitely not go back, over priced, over hyped & under whelmed!

Our experience at this restaurant was beyond disappointing. Despite the restaurant being completely empty, there was no welcome or acknowledgment when we arrived. Once seated, we were ignored and had to call the waiter multiple times just to get any attention. Shockingly, we even had to fetch our own spoons from the cutlery tray—completely unacceptable for a place claiming to be “fine dining.” The food was equally dismal. The dishes served looked nothing like the pictures online—different colours, finish, and even the plates and bowls were inconsistent. The plates provided were tiny, making it nearly impossible to eat curry with rice and naan comfortably. The food itself was cold, the lollipop chicken was lukewarm, old, and rubbery, and the jeera rice was just bland, coloured rice with no flavour. To make matters worse, the prices were outrageously high for such a poor experience. There is absolutely nothing "fine" about this place—neither the food, the service, nor the atmosphere. A total waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs.

I dined at the restaurant in late October, and while the experience itself was fantastic – the food and service were amazing – I was disappointed to receive a parking ticket for parking at the restaurant. It would have been helpful if the restaurant had advised guests about parking regulations in advance. Despite appealing, I still had to pay a reduced amount of £20, which left a sour note on an otherwise great visit.

First time at this restaurant, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Food was delicious, service was prompt and professional, staff were very friendly, would definitely recommend to everyone! We had a beef curry and a duck curry that just melted in the mouth, and the Matilda cake was everything I imagined from childhood! Thank you to everyone at 70 One!

Amazing everything! I’m a picky eater however I found this food amazing , and the staff are so helpful and kind, the decor and music make you feel like a millionaire!! I completely recommend coming here for any event however there weren’t many vegetarian options and the music was a bit loud but over all one of my best dinners out!!

Recently went for dinner at 70 one after seeing it on social media and we were really impressed, it was a lovely dinner. I would recommend the lamb chops navabi murgh and the masala fries were the best we’ve had. The atmosphere was great and service was very good too!

I ordered Royal lamb shank biryani. the lamb was cooked perfectly, it was juicy and soft. But I would say the taste can be better, a little more spicier for the amount they are charging and also the Quantity of rice could be more as well. The rice had a lot of Cinnamon sticks in it and I was annoyed again and again with these coming in my mouth. and there was no sides except one table spoon of Raita.. Literally one table spoon of raita. The raita was not filled to the top. Also The Strawberry Mojito I ordered was just as average Mojito I had in other Restaurants paying just £6 but they charged £10 for Strawberry Mojito. the waiter also just pick up plate from my wife while she was still eating Overall I would say, The restaurant has a great ambiance and beautiful water side, But it is extremely overpriced, I have eaten better food with the same amount spent. if they can work a little more to stabilise the prices and Food Quality and Quantity, they definitely have potential to be a great restaurant.

Overall a great atmosphere with nice anesthetics. The starters were really good. From the chicken lollipop to the loaded fries, we enjoyed it all. The mains unfortunately lacked a lot of flavour. Truthfully we were slightly disappointed as the taste of the biryani and gosht karahi lacked flavour.

I honestly don’t understand the comments about the staff being "weird" or the manager being rude—everyone was genuinely warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we had a great meal. The manager even stopped by to check on us and was super friendly, making us feel completely welcome. As for the food, it was excellent overall. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, though I will say the biryani could have used a bit more seasoning to really bring out its flavors. But that’s a minor note considering how much I enjoyed everything else. The atmosphere was also lovely—inviting and comfortable, not at all awkward as some reviews mentioned. It felt cozy and perfect for a relaxed meal. Definitely planning to come back! This place deserves more credit.

The entire place was freezing, with drafts seeping in from all corners, making it impossible to enjoy a comfortable meal. Hygiene seemed an afterthought—the male toilets were downright filthy and clearly hadn’t seen a cleaning in some time. The disorganization was glaringly obvious, and the staff looked completely detached, with no sense of customer service whatsoever. I ordered food that came in small, disappointing portions, yet was ridiculously overpriced. To top it off, the restaurant permits sheesha smoking in the main dining area, which filled the entire space with an overpowering smell, spoiling any remaining chance of enjoying my meal. Adding insult to injury, the management had the audacity to have someone respond to my review by questioning whether I was a real diner. This preposterous tactic to cast doubt on genuine customer feedback is absurd. I have the bill to prove my visit, and it’s insulting to have my experience questioned rather than taken seriously. Such a poor attempt at dodging constructive criticism only shows how little they value customer feedback. Nice try, 70 One, but instead of dismissing real concerns, perhaps focus on improving the experience for your patrons.

Overall, food was okay nothing special , lamb chops were really good. Only couple waiters are helpful no background sound we were sat away from other side of restaurant. Very awkward environment and owner quite abrupt

What an amazing place , wow , the service from all of the staff was just so lovely from the minute we walked in, we were welcomed by everyone and felt so comfortable. AND THEN THE FOOD 😭 it was incredible , it cane out so speedy and the flavours were insane. We drove an 1.5 hours to get here and it was worth evwry minute. We will come again thats for sure. THANKS GUYS! X

Visited 2months ago, food was ok (a bit overpriced for serving size), atmosphere was decent but the service was poor. We had to ask multiple times for a simple request and when it was time to leave we had quite a bit of food left over, we asked one of the waiters if we can get it packed up and he told us he would bring takeaway boxes (he didn’t return), we then asked another waiter if we can have takeaway boxes and he said they ran out, we asked if he could check the storage, he then went away and we watched him do a loop and come back to us and tell us there were no takeaway boxes and that he had checked the kitchen, and the storage (he didn’t).

Delicious food! Presentation was amazing, river view with a shisha at the end of a meal! Definitely planning to come back for a bigger occasion!

I recently visited this restaurant to celebrate my anniversary, and I was impressed with both the food and the overall experience. The lamb shank biryani was absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned for one. To our pleasant surprise, they offered complimentary papadum, which was a nice touch. While the lamb chop was a bit on the expensive side, the taste made it worth considering. Overall, a great dining experience and a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion!

Service was excellent very attractive, nice and calming experience, sticky toffee pudding was the amazing so if you do go for dessert try that out however the food was average and over priced would not go back as you go to restaurant nit just for service and atmosphere most importantly its for the food
