7Bone Burger Co. in Coventry

I ate there with a group of work friends last week, everyone I spoke to was impressed with their food & I know mine was really tasty. There was minimal fuss with our order given we were there as a decent sized group & someone had cancelled. From what I could tell everyone enjoyed themselves, I'd never eaten Frickles before so it was fun to try something new, plus the shake was really well made 👍🏻

Burgers here are unreal, very comforting. We come regularly and Dean has always looked after us. I can't believe there are other 7bones that don't have Dean's. We like Dean.

The food was truly delicious, but the portions were quite small. Despite ordering what we thought would be sufficient, we left still feeling hungry. While the pictures do not accurately convey this, the plates were notably small, resulting in even smaller servings, particularly when compared to similar establishments offering similar dishes. Given the price point, we expected more in terms of portion size. Having dined at numerous restaurants, we can confidently say that the food's flavour and texture were exceptional. Were it not for the small portion sizes, we would undoubtedly return again. Aside from the size, the food was exceptional.

Had a great meal here for my daughter’s birthday. It was a shame the machine wasn’t working so no desserts or ice cream. We were put in a room upstairs on our room as there was 14 of us which was great but the floor and tables were wonky as it’s an old building.

Tiny, ordinary burgers for quite a price. No sides included. Nothing special. Won't be returning as I can get better deals for the money elsewhere. Also service charge is added to the bill.

Had a small issue with a previous order which they rectified it the following time it was as good as usual definitely recommend the Donnie J Trump Burger

I recently dined here and had an overall wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, especially the chicken burger with hash browns, which was simply amazing. The café has a charming vintage ambiance that adds to the experience. I initially ordered a cheeseburger without realizing it contained beef, which I can't eat due to religious reasons. When I informed our waiter, Robert, he was incredibly understanding and promptly replaced it with a delicious chicken burger. Robert's attentive service truly enhanced our visit, making it memorable.

Food is amazing, lovely area just absolutely not worth that price.

The PBBJ burger was surprisingly good and the seasoned paprika salt fries were pretty decent. Really liked the vibe in the place too with dimmed lights and chilled music in the background.

Man this place was awesome! I was recommended this place and the food seemed great. Unluckily however, I couldn’t eat any of the buns due to a rare allergy!! Dean was our server and he said he could sort something out for me, I ordered a burger as normal and he ran to the store to buy some buns that I could eat 😁 I’ve never had someone care that much to accommodate me! The food was fantastic and so was the shake I had, I’ll be coming back again! Thank you!

Thursday night, with a party of 10. Table reserved in upstairs room. Place is bigger than it looks from the outside. Room a bit cold ( was it a ghost?) Ordered by app, food was quick, excellent presentation and tasty.

Me and my uncle had an amazing meal and our waiter was fantastic lively and very kind. We were told it was national burger day and were offered a challenge for the opportunity for a double up. It was definitely worth it. The milkshakes were great. I definitely hope to return again although maybe not before ice hockey training as I loved it so much I eat too much too quick and it definitely made me pay on the ice😅. Thank you so much for a great meal.

My last two experiences here have been really disappointing. One time the meat quality wasn't good, and today the smashed burgers were paper thin and burnt to a crisp. Such a shame as the food used be outstanding.

Terrible burgers... the patty was tasteless ...I'd rather have a Mac Donald. The chips were not good at all... How can a company get a burger so wrong? Not worth the money at all. And that system of ordering online to have your food delivered to your table is ridiculous! There is no signal in the building so u can be on your phone trying to access their page for a while. Then the page itself is not user-friendly with way too many pointless options as add-ons. 1 positive is that the staff was friendly, polite and helpful but overall not good sorry

Expensive for what it is. The burgers all seem pretty similar and there's nothing really outstanding for the flavour. Just a normal small burger 🫤

TL;DR: Friendly service, expensive, kind of small portions. On the plus side the service is always friendly in the restaurant and delivery through Deliveroo is always quite quick. Also the poutine is amazing. But I'm pretty disappointed with this evening's delivery order. I usually get dirty fries (baldelli fries) but the portion I just had had a sprinkling of parmesan and barely any garlic butter mayo/truffle oil. Admittedly I didn't call the restaurant to make this right because it was 21:30 and they close soon, so didn't see the point. But this coupled with the quite small burger and portion size, and how expensive the meal deal now is for delivery (£19.95), has left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.

Enjoyed the two burgers today. Probably the best in Coventry for a smash beef burger, such crisp caramelisation around the edges. Mac n cheese pretty average but overall best burger joint in Coventry. Nice seating and music to match occasion.

This was my second time here, and I must say the food was amazing. Friendly customer service and decent price point. I tried buffalo burger (chicken) with Kung-fu and Raj masala fries. The entire order was top notch. Will definitely come back again.

Building is beautiful, staff were really friendly but the food was just phenomenal and it came out incredibly quick. Will absolutely be returning!!!

Ate here with my family this afternoon. The Menu is insanely complex to understand but luckily their waitress was fantastic and guided us through. Food was top notch and great to have meat and non meat options but the service again was high end and would 100% return as a result. The awesome waitress offered our son crayons to keep him entertained too :) Very good food, brilliant staff and service. Would highly recommend.

Always my go to spot, whether i'm with family, friends or by myself. The staff are always very lovely and there's amazing music playing in the restaurant. Even in the event where something has gone wrong, the staff are very accommodating and helpful. The food is superb and always warm. Upon my visit today, I was greeted by a team member called Sylvia, who is an exceptionally sweet and friendly person, and went above and beyond for me. I especially appreciate this, so thank you!!

No front of house staff present when we entered the place. Waited 10 minutes for someone to come over and give us a table. Finally had to go over to the kitchen and ask the chef to call someone. Waited another 5 minutes and still no one came over. We had to leave and go somewhere else.

Waited ages at the front to be seated and no staff was present at the time, waited a while longer and had seen one of the chefs look at us but carried on doing what he was doing until another few mins went by and I had asked the same chef if anyone was here to serve. He looked at me with a black facial expression and pressed the bell. Still no one came so we had walked out.

Delicious food... App order so can you really give more for service(?); easy enough though. Atmos was ok on a early Sat evening. I'd definetley go back as he food was good.

Ordered one big chicken burger with Kim Jong wang wings with gochujang, sesame seeds, spring onions dreadlock rasta (Buffalo chicken), overall enjoyed both the chicken burgers, it was quite satisfying but wasn't really a fan of the wings not that its bad  it's more of an acquired taste . The ambience was nice and staff were quite friendly.

Unreal food. Absolute 10/10. Big shout out to Sylvia, our server, who was a dream. The friendliest gal going!

The beef burgers are nice, they are very reliant on quirky toppings and lots of sauces etc, some can detract from the burgers themselves. Its a bit of trial and error to what's good. The hallumi is ok but not great. It's a good there are meat, and veggie/vegan options so it's good for groups. The portion of fries is good and they are nice. They recently changed from normal bacon to '"beef bacon" which is very tough and chewy, so avoid that.

Great food, friendly helpful staff, been twice now abd both times early evening, like to return when its busier and probably more of an atmosphere.

We visited as a group of 20 for a birthday meal, and preorders were taken for the entire group. We all arrived on time, yet unfortunately, our food was still served quite staggered. With the childrens meals being served last. There was about a 30-minute gap between the first meal and the last meal being served to our group. We had expected to eat together. It was a nice place to visit, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was tasty, but it would have been made so much better had the food been served together and had the children not had to wait such a long time. I may return if I'm in the area, but as a one-off treat, as the menu is a bit pricey. However, I'd not choose to book again as a large group as I don't feel that the restaurant was able to manage the size of the group order in one go.

7bone was really worth, we had a great experience. I personally loved "All right all right & Chilli cheese fries". The service was so welcoming and also i really appreciate Ameen for being so Friendly and Supportive. Hopefully see you again.

Came here for some lunch on a work break Take out Is a very quirky place. Love the decor Staff are friendly and offered a seat while I waited Food was well packed and they don’t waste packaging here. The fries where in the same box as the burger Thought the fries would be soggy but nope I was wrong. Crispy and lots of seasoning. Nice The burger was bit small but it was the lunch special so decent for the price Just the right amount of everything on the burger and very tasty. Enjoyed every bite Keep up the great work guys

We ordered a Rasta burger with king Jon wang , a big chicken burger with dirty fries and a brownie milkshake. Let me just start by saying the wings were the best wings I’ve ever had from a takeout!! They literally fell off the bone and the meat was so juicy and flavourful🤤🤤 the burgers were really good, again the chicken was delicious and tender! Chips were a good portion and also tasty. Chef, whatever you are doing don’t stop because our food tonight was great.

Food was good, slightly overpriced. Feels like a fast food place, which it essentially is, rather than a restaurant. Staff are very pleasant and professional.

Another really tasty meal at this awesome restaurant. We met up with friends in the city who had never been before and they loved it. It is very much a go to for us now in Coventry as they are very dependable. Although I'm not convinced on the self serving menu. Management should consider both options of staff taking orders and allowing customers to pick their own. Particularly as the staff checked on us a few times as we had not ordered. Venue is lovely, staff were great. We'll be back.

We had gochujang chicken wings. There was no salt in the wings and lacked flavour. The chicken burgers were not bad but it didn't quite hit the spot. The staff was accomodating.

Nice burger place with lots of seating. Very friendly staff. Tried their beef and chicken burgers (One Big Chicken & Peter Green). The chicken burger was good but beef burger was not so good.

A lovely little spot & the sandwhich was nice. I need them to chill out with the salt though, very very salty ... Staff were lovely though! :)

We came into the City Centre on the Saturday a week before Christmas to finish off a bit of Christmas shopping and came here to see if there were any tables free. Surprisingly it was quite empty, usually it is too full to try and get in. Waitress was lovely and the menu, although not very big, has to be read fully as there are quirky names for the food but you need to see what’s in each item. We ordered a couple of burgers and the dirty fries, which were all incredible and very filling. We were very impressed with the whole place and will definitely cover here again.

5 stars all round a fantastic establishment, burger was amazing (I think the best I’ve had) and Sylwia and Dean were some of the friendliest members of staff I’ve ever encountered 10 out of 10 would come again xoxo

The Best Burger Place in Coventry! Fantastic food, I had the Rasta Burger and chicken strips and they were out of this world. Highly recommend the chef and the team were super friendly and a special mention the manager Benoy!
