7BONE… Apologies for the essay, but a honorary first class degree in Bone is a great thank you Christmas present. The atmosphere is always 10/10… Highlight is the restrooms (they have their own sound system) always with a 10/10 playlist. Not to mention the food which the only apt comparison would be to Gillette because it never lets you down- unreal burgers both chicken and beef. Service is always friendly- Bart is my burger KING (no whopper) and big love the rest of the team (shout-out docs and socks guy with cap) who always host us so well. I had a problem with my order and my incompetence was met with borderline Christ-like grace and love. I love 7 bone and is always the spot where all my Newbury friends come to reconnect and catch up during holidays. 10/10.

Attended last night for our annual Christmas meal with the team and it was as always AMAZING! Great food, drinks and atmosphere!!! Service is always speedy and we’ll be back 🙂

Just had our Xmas 7 boner party here. 21 guests, service was impeccable and every single one of us loved the food and the crazy drinks 😂 Bart welcomed us, attended to music, made sure we weren’t cold, too hot, thirsty, hungry, couldn’t have done enough. Thank you 7 bone crew 🫡

This is the third time I’ve returned to 7bone Newbury. Burgers are always cooked perfectly. The service provided by Bart is always great. Highly recommend a visit.

We had our grandsons birthday here Its a bit quirky. Food is great, service is great atmosphere was a bit lacking we were in a back room by ourselves but we enjoyed the day. Thank you 7bone.

Dropped in on a Sunday for Lunch for 4, Indie vibe, the building itself has a fun character and design. Burgers were amazing, Good quality meat, Lots of choice and tonnes of extras like dirty fries, Milkshakes etc Recommend the Triple D burger and Chilli fries Service was very good Will come back here soon.

Got a takeaway, it arrived in good time and all food was still piping hot , my son said it was the best buger he's ever had and he is a very fussy eater so all the recommendation I need

Amazing burgers! They have 10/10 more of the traditional burgers but also some novelty options. Their sides are really good too, we tried Korean wings, seasoned fries and Kyiv tots. Also, get the gravy. It’s delicious. It was quite busy as it was a Saturday and unfortunately they don’t take reservations for two people, so we couldn’t booked. But luckily we didn’t have to wait for the table. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The only thing that was not 10/10 I would say was the setting of the tables. It felt a bit as if we were sitting on the back of the takeaway packing area. So I get some of the comments in the other reviews about no atmosphere. But the food really is worth it.

Second time coming here within space of two years. Really good food, must say. Pleasant staff who look like they enjoy their work. Well accommodating to small children/babies.

Really good burger place with a lot on offer. I am vegetarian and was surprised by how much vegetarian options there were (without much compromise). The staff are friendly and welcoming and overall I enjoyed it

Went here as a birthday treat with 6 others. The service was very good. Once we got our heads round the menu our server took our order and the food came out. Hot delicious and rather a lot of it. The menu was really good offering vegan/vegetarian versions of the burgers so no-one missed out. Good value and good quality

Terrible experience, first of we was asked about allergies, then when we said yes and explained it was almost made fun of. There was four of us eating, one main dish came out a good 10 minutes before everyone elses, then once all the dishes came out we had to ask for cutlery! My order was wrong I ordered no sauce or salad on my food, so I sent it back then to find they just scraped it off, which normally is fine but not when it was covered in it. We asked for water which was also warm and the pitcher it came in you couldn't see the water in it through the limescale on it. I would highly recommend someone at 7 bone taking note of this. The one in reading is spot on but this one really isn't. Not impressed and not cheap for the service we had.

Our burgers at 7Bone in Newbury were absolutely incredible. Melted in the mouth, tasted amazing and the portion size was great value for the price. I had the "Donnie J Trump" burger topped with wotsits. Sounds crazy to add wotsits on a burger but it paired really well with the overall flavour. We also had the cheese & bacon fries to share. They were amazing and complimented the burgers. Staff were welcoming to us and our little ones. Kids menu was good. Baby change toilet could do with some tidying. Overall a great experience.

Very speedy ordering via the QR codes on the menus. I would estimate no more than 10 minutes from ordering to receiving our food. The drinks came first - cans, opened with straws inside. Then the burgers. I ordered my classic cheese burger rare - it was incredibly juicy, really succulent but it was unpleasantly salty. I ate half. The fries were good, crispy and fresh but I would have been fine sharing a portion rather than getting a portion each. All in all, a fine experience but one I am unlikely to be repeating any time soon. Normally really enjoyable food but they may have been having a bad day. My partners tater tots weren't warm and the burger he had was a bit lackluster. Service was OK but nothing special.

This is legitimately the best burger spot I've ever been to in the UK. It's so good, that I took my office to a work lunch at the 7 bone in Northampton. Their food is super good, and they have the best shakes in the UK, hands down.

We’re was regular customers until yesterday.We’re traveling every time from Basingstoke to Newbury to have this lovely burgers.We’re had before lovely experiences.Yesterday it was last visit in this place.Extremely rude attitude from the person on charge.Trying to order our food with him ,he said we’re need to use the app.He also saw we’re in struggle to use the app,but ignored us.Also had 3-4 members of staff doing nothing,but to busy to take our order.The order from the app take more than 10-15 minutes.Also the food this time was very very salty(especially the beef patties).Sadly disappointed.

Really impressed with this place. Super friendly staff and a pretty chilled out atmosphere. In Newbury for work I visited on two nights. The first time I had the tater tots with garlic mayo and the FKC gochujang chicken tenders which were great. The second time I had the PBBJ burger cooked pink (and it was!) and the chippy fries (covered in chippy curry sauce). It was all excellent. It's the second time I've had peanut butter on a burger and it works so well. Instead of jam they used chilli jam here which also works really well and has a nice wee kick. There are a LOT of options for the burgers from different "doneness", extra patties, vegan options and even an option to make them smash burgers. Really impressed with this place. I'm really hoping they open one in central or east London!! I'd definitely go again.

Whenever we visit Newbury's 7Bone, we are always greeted with friendly faces and excellent service from start to finish. The food is always fantastic, but this evening's visit was next level! Perfect crispy fries, delicious halloumi fries, and the best beef burger Ive ever had (Prince Charles with two smashed patties), followed up with a Biscoff ice cream sundae; we are fit to burst!! Outstanding service from Bart as always! Thank you!

7Bone is literally my favourite place to go for a meal; the atmosphere and service is incredible and leaves nothing to be desired, the food is ridiculously good and the portions are fantastic. I visit at least once a month and I’m never disappointed by this place or the people that run it; I’m always greeted with a smile and it makes it so much better to know that you’re always welcome. Bart is the friendliest and most genuine staff member I’ve ever had the joy to meet; he was even working on his birthday! An absolute gem of a person. I have no faults with 7Bone and never will. 10/10. (Highly recommend the biscoff shake and poutine 😜)

The waitress was extremely helpful and had good personality which was warm and welcoming, putting us at ease. The food was delicious and good value for money. I would definitely recommen it and eat here again if I got the opportunity.

Was excited about coming back here as had a good meal before and the Wings were really good but this time I ordered the 14 wings. When it arrived it came with only a small ramekin of blue cheese sauce. This was not enough for the 14 wings and after getting through half of the wings the ramekin was completely gone. Asked for a little more and was told it would be an extra £1.25 to get any more. Obviously not enough for the number of wings. Double the wings needs double the sauce. Really disappointed by the attitude and lets the place down. Not the servers fault as they were probably told to do this. Get it sorted lads.

Food was decent... portions are a lot so make sure you are hungry.

Honestly this is the best food I’ve had in England in ten years. Obviously not a Michelin starred restaurant but why would you come to a burger restaurant expecting that. Every thing I’ve tried in this place is spot on and the service is genuinely nice which is rare. Whoever owns this is doing a damn good job.

I was really looking forward to a 'proper' burger and having glanced many of the reviews, I thought that this was what I was going to get from my Deliveroo order. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, the burger did not resemble the menu photo AT ALL (a comment that I have seen in several other reviews on re-evaluating after my experience). I was met by a small burger, about the same size as a McDonald's Double Cheeseburger (and the bottom part of the bun was much thicker than the burger!!). Honestly, it was not much better either!! I have had a much better burger at Bill's across the street in Newbury Marketplace! I really cannot understand the rave reviews based on my own experience. The tater tots were nice enough and well-seasoned, as were the fries. The milkshakes were also tasty. However, the 'main event', the burger, was an enormous let down. At just under £40 (it would have been £56.00 without vouchers/discounts) for two small burgers, two sides, two cans of soft drink and two milkshakes, I would never order from 7Bone again. Frankly, I feel ripped off.

Sadly choices to eat out in Newbury town are very limited. This has got to be the most unpleasant place in Newbury. I was looking forward to indulging in a guilty pleasure from a dirty burger but was disappointed with the quality. The onion straws batter soaked up so much oil losing the flavour of the onion. Oil pooling in your mouth as you chew. Whilst the first server was pleasant and helpful, the worst part were her colleagues who asked for feedback yet were quickly dismissive and defensive. A simple acknowledgement about it would have been enough and that was that - no big deal, we'll charge it to experience and didn't intend to write a review. However they find the need to gaslight you saying they have never heard such feedback and nobody has complained before in a mocking tone(subjective but this was how it came across from two staff teaming up against your feedback at the same time - not quite the right approach). At this point we just left it at that and didn't bother mentioning the burgers - the smashed patty was overcooked, salty and super greasy burnt crisp around the edges. It was quite early so not busy at all to be sloppy with the quality. Unpleasant experience for us that left a bad taste in our mouths. Not the guilty pleasure we were after so definitely will not recommend. We will never go back.

The BEST burger place around, if I could rate it higher I would. Burgers are juicy and delicious, the portswood poutine fries are soooo yummy and saucy. I tried the tater tots with the cheese dip tonight - they didn’t disappoint, another delicious side.

Ordered a takeaway on deliveroo and it was terrible. The burgers looked nothing like the pictures, the dirty fries were lacklustre. Why was my pink burger less pink than the chicken wings? For the money you can get so much better in Newbury. I think this place is an in-person kind of place, do not recommend delivery at all.

For one night I paused my vegetarian ways and had Frankie says Rilsarre, buonissimo! Sapore gustoso! Celebrating brothers birthday, would highly recommend for informal occasion. It's a dirty burger after all 💪🇮🇹

Spent a delightful evening at 7 bone with friends. The food was excellent, I opted for a vegetarian choice with a veggie side of chilli fries. Sarah was our waitress and did an amazing job of keeping our glasses full and ensuring we had everything we needed. Would recommend if your in the area.

Bart is the best! Very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Perfect host. Great informal date location. We bring our children and family here often as there is something for everyone. Love it!

Been going here monthly for over a decade and NEVER get bored of the menu and atmosphere. The selection of burgers is unbeatable in Newbury, the beef, chicken and vegan options are high quality, tasty and filling. The sides are excellent too, a portion of dirty fries will fill you up but save room for the wings! Good selection of beers too, plus loyalty rewards, and Bart the manager always looks after us. May 7Bone serve us got many more years

Best burger in Berkshire, great portions. The one big chicken is the mightiest burger in the UK. Good variety on the menu, love the dirty fries. Bart always looks after us every time, we end up coming here once a month as we constantly crave it. My favourite addiction.

So I’m pretty sad at the way I was treated tonight, by one of my fave take aways. I ordered some of my favourites from the menu and instead of going through Deliveroo/ other, I decided to collect directly from Newbury 7Bone. I am 28 weeks pregnant, meaning that I have to plan ahead quite in advance for when heading out, this includes bringing my small and well behaved dog with me, I therefore scheduled a pick up in my notes for 18:45. As I walk in I am greeted by a server who immediately tells me “you can’t have dogs in here!” My small dog was neatly tucked up in my arms and I made it clear to him I was only coming to collect. As he hands me my food he then adds “just to let you know that we don’t usually allow late pick ups…” then turns and walks away. I’m not sure if this is usually how clientele are treated, especially women, but if it is so, then I will have to take my business elsewhere. Which is a real shame. Some kindness would have gone a very long way.

Had another wonderful meal in 7Bone, got to be steated in the lower seating area with our server Sarah for the first time. Sarah was very friendly and attentive making for a great atmosphere. The new specials are superb additions to an already great menu. You can't go wrong with the service and food here, highly recommend stopping in for a quick bite or as a group of friends.

We had the special doughnut burger and sides, it was such great food and we were hosted amazingly as always by Bart, who always goes above and beyond. Looking forward to returning again soon!

This spot is one of the best in the town, Bart and the team make the atmosphere very chill and always make us laugh and feel very welcome! Newbury is very average for food the selection isn’t great so tried 7 Bone. The food was ok it’s nothing that will blow you away, the burger was quite dry but overall can’t really complain …. It was very average. Service is poor and is the main downfall along with the bang average burgers. The atmosphere is nice it is in a decent location with nice surroundings. Over all 2.4/5 for me I won’t be rushing back 👍

I recently visited with my husband, as we had travelled from Brighton visiting family in the area. We had some free time and decided to go on an unplanned date night, and I must say we were rather impressed with the menu and overall service received. Despite it being kind of out of our comfort zone, the lovely young lady Sarah was quick to put us at ease with her kindness, understanding and patience. As we were spoilt for choice we both ended up having the Blue plate deal. It was just absolutely to die for! Thoroughly enjoyed it, reasonably priced and we would both very much like to visit again soon, when time allows of course. Me and my partner go to 7 bone quite a lot and I have to say how consistently amazing the food is especially at newbury and Bart who normally serves us. Great customer service and we always look foward to going into newbury to be greeted by him and the rest of the team and of course for the food.
