Great food, prices are good for the quality, friendly staff would recommend beer is reasonably priced as well.

Unreal, like actually unreal, service outstanding, my friend Ellen Droad recommended this place, Aagraa tears this city apart again

I've been to a few Indian /Pakistani restaurants but this one does not serve proper curry. It lacks of authenticity. We ordered a chicken mild Handi and a lamb Afghani. The Handi was too spicy and when complained saying we asked for it to be mild, we got a korma straight away. Korma was as sweet as custard. When called the waiter, again to complain, the manager came and brought another dish soon after. The Afghani was very moderate. Egg inside was like an omelette! Both dishes were only just bearable to eat and the last replacement only had 4 pieces of chicken in it! We ate the food as we were pretty hangry at that stage. Garlic and coriander Naan bread was doughy and tasteless. At least the poppadoms were nice and crispy! Service was quick though and all the waiters were very kind. At the end of the night, after paying the bill and when tried to explain to the manager about the fiasco, he invited us again as guests but he got the response that we are sorry and won't be going back there again as it was the worst food experience we had. We were also told that when eating at Aargrah, parking at Victoria- John Lewis car park was free of charge, so told the person behind the bar to validate the car park ticket. Which he assured me he did. When used the ticket to exit the cark park it said that there is a £5 outstanding fee! Rang the car park and explained I was at Aargrah so they opened the gate for us. Same thing happened to the other friends who where there with us last night. Not sure if this was meant to be like this because nobody from the restaurant informed us.

Re review We celebrated our daughters birthday in there. They have a VIP room for such occasions. We had opted for buffet which is served on Sunday and Monday. The branch manager and the staff were super helpful. The starters were very nice. They can improve on the main course which is still a bit bland. But the service was beyond expectation. I would recommend Aagrah for hosting such parties. Appreciate the staff for such a nice and memorable experience. ------- We had been for a dinner on a Saturday. The ambience was nice and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. The service was quite good too. Coming to the food, we had lassi, a tandoori platter, chicken sindhi biriyani, family naan and butter chicken. The starter was good especially the fish. But we found the main course to be bland. The biriyani was served with some vegetable gravy but I would not recommend the biriyani, simply because it wasn't flavourful at all.

This was hands down the WORST dining experience I've ever had! If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. After making us wait for an unbearable *one hour*, they finally brought the food, and let me tell you, it was a complete joke. They claim to serve Indian food, but what they served was a disgrace to Indian cuisine. The biryani was the biggest insult—it wasn’t even biryani! It was just bland mixed vegetables thrown together with rice, completely devoid of flavor or authenticity. The food was fake, tasteless, and felt like an amateur attempt to mimic Indian dishes without any understanding of what makes them special. It’s a shame they even dare to call themselves an Indian restaurant. Save your time, money, and taste buds—stay far away from this place!

Fantastic customer service, especially with the children. Food was amazing from buffet, loads of different things to chose from. Desserts was fabulous. Under 5 goes free. High chairs available. Only thing I felt was quite pricey was drinks for the kids otherwise a typical table of 15 is around £250 all ya can eat buffet. I will go back for sure.

I had a very disappointing experience at Aagrah Restaurant. After waiting for over an hour, the food was finally served, and it was far from worth the wait. The flavors lacked authenticity and did not resemble the rich, vibrant tastes of authentic Indian cuisine. It felt like they were simply pretending to be an Indian restaurant rather than delivering the genuine experience they claim to offer. The long wait time combined with the lackluster food left us feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for real Indian food or good service.

We ordered a takeaway and have to say was really disappointed, fish machli seemed not fresh at all, the malai boti and seekh kebab was okay, we ordered 2 dishes a chicken and lamb bhuna, the lamb had all crunchy undercooked onion in it and the food has made our stomachs very upset, even my 5 year old isnt well, imagine it was food poisoning, we called to complain and tehy boasted about having "no complaints today" and we will offer you a discount on your next order...no thanks..safe to say wont be ordering from here again! wasted £40!!

Always friendly welcome, excellent service, delicious food and enjoyable experience. Been coming here since first opened and other Aagrah branches just as perfect!

It was good, not great! We tried some veg starters and mains, We felt it was average, not sure how people would find this place for a non vegetarian but for vegetarian their options are limited and their gravy(curry) lacked flavour. Garlic nan had less garlic and butter in it compared to other places. Ambiance was nice and cosy, no complaints on that. Service was quick and helpful. Overall it's a one time thing.

Good place for large groups. Food delivered was hot, spicy and delicious. Very good portions. There were a couple of errors with our order but they were quickly corrected

We went for High Tea today and I would really recommend it. It was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable.

The food was world class. I ordered a cocktail and I haven’t tasted anything as good as that. Before I even ordered I walked in and the lady who served us drinks was amazingly kind to the kids! Even the toilets were so clean!!! Will be coming back. TOTALLY recommend!

I had wanted to try the Leeds Aagrah for a while after visiting some of their other restaurants and I was a little underwhelmed. It was a midweek evening when I visited and the place was less than half full so felt a little soulless. The food was OK but nothing outstanding, I maybe made the wrong choices.

Really enjoyed the food here, nicely decorated and very good service.

The food tonight was very tasty. Albeit slightly hotter than advertised. Also hotter that when we have eaten here before. We ordered 4 vegan sides and they all tasted very similar - it could be they were all spicy and did for our taste buds. Service is attentive but not rushed. Would recommend.

We have had many meal from this restaurant, have previously recommended to loads of friends and were soooo disappointed our food was 2 hours from ordering till it arrived, it was cold, and I think because cold was super greasy, I submitted a refund request, as this food is expensive, and shouldn’t arrive late and cold. Heard nothing back :-(

Having used the restaurant in the past & having no problems we went in after 9pm on Sunday But on this occasion food on all but one of the 4 mains we ordered was OK Meat was very hard never seen so much food left on the plates by our group on any of nights we have had out Don't like to leave negative posts for a business but been bad since Monday after eating the meal

We enjoyed the Mughal High tea . …. The pink tea was superb and the set menu was surprisingly delightful from the savoury to the sweet variety. Only feedback on the Keer….. it had less sweetness.

Late, but marked as delivered on the app 10 minutes before driver arrived. full address not even printed on ticket for driver. food cold, stale and tough.

the food was really disappointing. both curries had a thick layer of oil sitting on them, even after we tried to drain one of them. the chips were like boiled potatoes, there were only 2 onion bahjis, which feels poor for the price, and they were really greasy too. it felt like we'd ordered a dodgy takeaway. don't think I'll be ordering from here again.

Popped in last night before a gig at The Wardrobe next door.The interior is stylish the service was good quality hotel standard.My wife had the chicken masala and I had the chicken jalfrezi both were excellent with nice sauce and vegetables.The mushroom rice was great.I would highly recommend this restaurant.Thankyou

Good service with usual Aagrah food.

We came in at 8.15 on Wednesday evening and it was such good service. Food came quickly, servers were attentive and polite. Portions were huge and food was incredible. 10/10 recommend.

The vegetarian food was not up to mark. Lahori cholay and Paneer mutter were identical in taste. Both had excessive turmeric which meant they were a day old and had to be reheated. The garlic prawns were divine. Really good. The service was top notch.

Visited on Sunday night. There was an excellent and tasty Indian buffet for just under £20. Nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. Apparently the buffet is available on Sunday and Monday.

This place tries too hard and loses the authentic sub-indian cuisine feeling and flavours. My days, the menu is an absolute car crash. Too much is on offer, and this is where it goes wrong. Food is mediocre at best. And I tried all three of the food on the table, starters ans mains. There was no service. We had to wait for what seemed like an eternity to make an order, and at one point, our drinks order went walkabout and had to take it again. No criticism of the staff. The lads are all great. Staff are friendly. But boy, they know how to not look in your general direction when you are trying to get their attention. If we had clicked our fingers at any time, I think it would have been justified.

We thought we’d give this restaurant a try as we normally go to Bengal Brasserie when we visit Leeds . We’re really pleased we tried it as the customer service was excellent . We were allowed to relax and enjoy our whole night . The timings of the poppadoms , starters and main courses were all perfect . We were allowed to enjoy each course without feeling rushed and too full . The food was delicious, and there’s such a big choice on the menu . Lovely restaurant surroundings too . We will definitely be back next time we’re in Leeds.

Food was ok. Average. However what ruined the experience was being rushed. As soon as you finish the starter the main was there. As soon as you finished that the warm cloths and the bill arrived. Then a few minutes later whilst we were chatting amongst ourselves and still drinking our drinks the man came with the card machine. No chance of another drink to let your food settle. I made a comment about the fact I’ve never been so rushed and he didn’t even blink. It wasn’t like the restaurant was even busy!!! Not the service I was hoping for. We had planned to go at Christmas this year but I think we will have to find somewhere else. So disappointed.

My friend and I went to Aagrah on a Friday evening. It was busy but the restaurant maintained a great atmosphere and the staff were very attentive. From being greeted kindly at the door, all staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to make our experience special. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic and delicious Indian food.

We went for the buffet with for a work team social. Great service and a lovely variety of food. All fresh and plenty of veggie options.

We ordered a takeaway via Uber eats. The chicken bhuna was ridiculously salty. The naan tasted stale. My husband had toast for dinner because the curry went in the bin. We will never order from here again.

I haven't been here for quite a while so it was nice to see that the standards are still high. We had the buffet and found there was plenty of choice to suit most people although another rice alternative would have been nice. Certainly lots of starters and a fair variety of sweets. The staff were attentive without being over the top but I could have done without the guy sweeping up around the tables during service.

Highly over-rated. Poor quality, oily and monotonous food. Ordered vegetarian food and it was in a pool of oil and all the curries taste the same. The vegetables were stale and frozen. The naan was poorly cooked and moist at delivery.
