Clean and tidy like the kettle in the room and cups so you can have a cup tea or coffee

The hotel is comparable in price to the Ibis Hotel, which is located nearby, but in everything else it can’t even be compared. I absolutely do not recommend it!

I had a safe and comfortable 15-day stay at Aberdeen House Hotel. As a solo traveler, I felt very secure with the two sturdy doors—one at the main entrance and another before accessing the rooms. The staff and owners were incredibly kind, always ready to help, even carrying my five bags to my room. The rooms were cozy, with hot water and internet on every floor, and they even stored my luggage for an extra day. A great place run by wonderful people. Highly recommended!

Good service even at late times. Bathroom is clean, but there is a bit of an unpleasant smell in the room. Furnishings are old fashioned and should be renovated. But for the price everything is okay.

I'm a bit skeptical when checking Google review about this place. However, when I arrive, everything is so good. The location is super close to main train station, bus station. The hotel might look old and need some improvement, but overall I can say it's great to stay for short days (for me it's 2 night). The bed is super comfy and clean. The toilet also clean, water flow is strong, that's all I need. They clean the room daily. When check-in, you should call the number on the door cuz somehow the doorbell did not work. Wifi connection stable, basic items like big TV screen, kettle and cups available. Small desk and chair for working with laptop. The hotel is on the main road, so it may be a bit noisy at night (people hang out at the pub), if you're light sleeper, be prepare.

3 stars cause of location and the bathroom was nice and refurbished. The room itself however is extremely dated and run down, 0 atmosphere or decoration on the walls, not even a mirror. The hotel is kinda creepy and old school, but okay for a night's stay if you're not too fussy and want something cheaper in a good location. Reception is basically non existing. You need to ring a bell upon arrival, but after ringing 3x we had to phone someone to let us in.

A very very basic hotel; literally somewhere to sleep. It was clean and felt safe, but quite rough/well loved around the edges. I'm glad I wasn't there in winter though, as the window was very draughty.

Super convenient location, right in front of the station, five minutes from the Great Maritime Museum, only ten minutes from Union Street and other major streets, and just opposite the 727 to the airport. The only problem is that there is no elevator and you have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. And the house numbers are complicated.

Very very dirty room. Dust everywhere. The carpet was very dirty, walls with cracks, holes, scratches, and marks, bad smell in the room (very likely from mold), dust everywhere, windows were old and not insulated, very cold during the night. Pictures on booking and other website does not reflect the real status of the rooms and the building. No wi fi at all. Reception was often closed and very rarely with someone at the reception. I had to either make phone calls to the provided number to ask for assistance. I had to do an early check-out (stayed 2 out of 6 nights) because the room was in a very bad condition.

Absolutely inhabitable. This hotel is a scam. Avoid at all cost. The rooms are prison cells with no windows and ventilation. Dodgy quests and staff is rude when trying to solve the issue. I have no idea how this is allowed in UK and there is no law to have a minimum standard.

The hotel is great, comfortable bed, tv with lots of Choice. I find a lot of tv Chanel’s don’t work when I go for hotel, this tv was working with every Chanel. The room was clean and fresh with complimentary coffee and tea available. My stay was what I’d expect and the only thing I can put my finger on that I think could be improved is that reception is closed quite early. I went down to get some information and was surprised to find it closed. This didn’t affect my experience too much though and I would definitely use the hotel again.

Apart from the city location, the room stay and service was bad. Avoid this hotel. My son was pricked by a sewing needle pin and we complained to the manager. Instead of apologizing and admitting their fault or giving us compensation, he had the audacity to accuse us of bringing the needle and purposely dropping it on the carpet. We even showed him another needle hanging on the curtain which he didn’t take responsibility for and said that we purposely put it there, furthermore we showed him the bloody image of the foot which he proceeded to reject the idea that it was from the needle pin. The audacity to not accept their mistake is unparalleled and out of this world. We were on the 3rd floor - so this is not for anyone who has heavy luggages due to the lack of lift . The tv was not working properly also.

Across from train station. Easy walk. No lifts but lovely employee carried our large bags up. Rooms clean. Security keypad at door. No lobby but large rooms.

Do not allow single women to stay in this hotel. They are not safe and the hotel employs cleaners who touch guests inappropriately. They have been reported to the police. When incident reported to the front desk, they asked it not be reported to the police, as it would make them look bad.

We both stayed here for two nights. Location is great. And the staff is nice too. The house itself is very noisy. When we arrived we only found a set of towels on the bed, but they were still delivered. What was extremely annoying was that the toilet ran water every two minutes. Also at night! The heating didn't work either. There is no elevator in the house, we were “lucky” and only had to go to the first floor with our large luggage. We found a parking space a 5-minute walk away for 11pf for 24 hours.

I stayed at Aberdeen House Hotel for one night, securing the booking through Agoda for the best deal. The experience was exceptional. Despite booking a single room, I was pleasantly surprised with a double bed and an ensuite toilet. The room was impeccably neat. The staff went above and beyond, facilitating an early check-in at 12 pm, well ahead of the standard 3 pm time. Additionally, they graciously stored my luggage without any extra charges. Special commendation is due for the exemplary service provided by staff members Anu, Raj, and another unnamed girl. The location of the hotel is ideal, situated just opposite the bus station and conveniently positioned at the heart of Aberdeen city, making every other place easily accessible. The room also featured complimentary tea and coffee, enhancing the overall positive experience.

Hotel room sizes are ridiculous, in a single room and there is no where even to place my luggage. Is there no regulations to a minimum size of a hotel room in the UK. I'm going to Aberdeen city health and safety. Room 208 absolute crazy. I've been put in a cupboard. AVOID

Amazing service, the receptionist was absolutely lovely and helped us out when we were in a pinch due to cancelled busses. Room was clean and cozy, only issue being that the bathroom door didn't lock properly. Great value for money, would definitely come again.

Usually food is really good, but this time was a big miss. Duck tasted old, like reheated from the previous evening. Pancakes were stone cold, fresh from the fridge. Satay skewers didn't taste right either. Other started was tasty albeit drowning in soy. Shame as food is usually great, but was quite disappointed this time. 😕

My 2 daughters had a delicious lunch - calzone & pizza but then in their excitement ... jumped on the train back to Manchester and forgot their suitcase! I rang Will at the restaurant who was super helpful and went above and beyond in enabling me to get the case picked up and shipped home. 5*s!

Avoid at all costs!!!! Sarah who I spoke to on the phone at first seemed friendly but when I called to tell her that my aunts dish was wrong it all went down hill… she luckily agreed to send the correct order out. My uncles order was a rice dish with chicken and prawn (with extra prawns) had one prawn in it. I called back to explain and was told ‘sorry but we can’t do anything about that’. We then discovered that my aunts wrong dish was actually pork, so the whole family who strictly don’t eat pork (due to religious reasons) ate it by accident as we didn’t want to waste the dish. Finally, the ‘manager’ Sarah told us ‘the kitchen staff refuse to correct the order’. No offer of a refund just ‘next time you order we will send you the correct dish’ . WHY ON EARTH WOULD WE ORDER FROM YOU GUYS AGAIN???? Rude and disgusting tasteless food !!!! I asked for a refund and they told us ‘we need all the food back’ - of course we started eating as we were bloody starving, awful awful service. So in the end , no correction of food.. just horrible attitude from the call handler.

Why oh why won’t you cater indoors ( and outdoors just now) for the many dog walkers in the park? Today there are no tables and seats on the terrace to allow any dog walkers who don’t mind the damp to have a hot drink . There is a conservatory and I fail to understand why that can’t be used for doggy folk . It’s a huge omission in the service provided and means we rarely use the cafe . Please re think this . After all it means business for you!

Staff seemed lovely, very frustrated to pay for my food then be told they have undercharged me then after receiving my order tried to charge for 2 sauce instead of one as I had asked for this at beginning, at this point I walk out as very poor service only to find out once I got home the chips were undercooked, what a waste money
