This spot is ideal for owners of well trained dogs! The staff complimented our dogs on how well behaved they were and made no comment about us wanting to sit inside away from the rain (dogs dry and clean after being in their raincoats, of course). The food is delicious, and there are also excellent milkshakes and diary ice creams etc. Friendly people, good atmosphere, delectable food & drinks!

Had time to kill as my party had gone on a second hill-walk and I wasn't up to it cos they nearly killed me on the first one. Popped into Cafe Adventure as it was recommended by a friend. So glad I did! * Friendly staff; all with a smile * DELICIOUS food * Brilliant value for money * WiFi * Amazing array of cakes and other sweet delights which keep looking at me. I've never been to this area before and I get quite anxious going places alone but I was made to feel very welcome.

NOTHING is too much trouble at Cafe Adventure. We hosted a trail running event in early April, using Cafe Adventure as our meeting point. After our run, Rachel and Billy had prepared a wonderful lunch spread for us. Everything was made with love and nothing was too much trouble from very first contact, through to the end of the event. We could not recommend Cafe Adventure more and the beautiful area around it for hiking, running and biking and your day will be complete with the hospitality of Rachel, Billy and their team!

There are a few places that do breakfast butties in the village and surrounding area. Now, the others are good but this is just better. Thick slabs of bacon on a soft granary was perfect for the start of my hike up the mountains. It is a little on the pricey side but well worth the extra. The cakes looked amazing too but I had to resist unfortunately.

We needed to use the rapid charger in the car park and so sought somewhere for some lunch. The adventure was rammed but a five minute wait meant we had a table. A fantastic BLT on Granary with a super side salad, a salty caramel hot chocolate, a homemade soup were all quickly devoured and every morsel savoured. First class and very reasonably costed. Fantastic and very friendly staff. Looking forward to a return visit and bringing others with us.

Refused point blank to let us use a table that was marked as Reserved from 12:30 - when it was just after 11:00! No other tables available, so we were left standing and looking completely baffled until another party kindly told us they were leaving soon. The explanation was that they 'needed time to prepare the table'. Would have walked straight out if not for the fact we had already paid!

Vegan Options and dog friendly and the key bonuses to this venue. A few more vegan options would be appreciated because vegan chocolate brownie can get a bit repetitive. I know decor is down to everyone’s personal taste but this venue gives off a Mediterranean vibe with its choice of cups and terracotta tiles on tables, I think your missing a trick here and go ultra British to match your ultra British location but that is me being a touch picky! Service was prompt and friendly.

You'll be assured of a warm welcome here...if you're a local. If you're camping up the road and call off for breakfast at opening time on a Monday morning, not so much. The food was fine. What spoilt it was being treated like an inconvenience. I was asked if I wanted 'granary or white bread' with our eggs in such a tone of voice I came this close to saying 'actually neither' and heading for the door...but I was hungry so we had breakfast, paid upwards of twenty quid for it (the coffees were small so we had two each) then went on our way. Won't be back, but that's probably best for both parties as that way I won't be interrupting anything.

A small but perfectly good cafe. Friendly and helpful staff. We had the omelette which we both enjoyed.
