Food is good and service good. After a disappointing wait and several calls to the restaurant we eventually received our food. It was explained that they had had an unexpectedly busy evening and had struggled to meet demands. Having since had contact from them they have gone over and above to make amends.

Just ordered spaghetti bolognese online to pick up,asked for cheese on top. When I pocked it up I asked if there was am extra.chaege for the cheese. The lovely guy said no its ok ...amazing thanks and it was tasty too . Went down a treat 😋

My first time ordering tonight. Pizza was excellent and the colslaw and Donna meat was really tasty. The delivery driver was a lovley man he didn't have any change I trusted him to bring the change back and he did half an hour later. I will definitely going back again 👍

If you want something different try a 1/2pound bacon cheese burger, and add pineapple.... fantastic.

From the time I found this pizzeria I feel like I'm back home in Italy every time I eat their pizzas. I have tried different ones every time and all of them are just delicious. No more Dominos or pizza hut from now on..!!! Honestly there is no comparison. Everyone need to try Alessio's pizzeria first. Fast delivery, friendly, sent me a small pizza for being 10 minutes late. Definitely wont change those folks!! Keep it up!!

Didn’t give my disabled service user the right change and when I came back to get it he argued with me that he could of dropped it and that I came all the way back for a bit of change.

£20.50p for a 16inch 50/50 meatfeast/pepperoni pizza and 2 cans of coke was happy to pay but once I received my food opened my pizza box it was swimming in grease floppy no meat apart from pepperoni phoned them up for him to say its because of the pepperoni that's why its undercooked dripping in grease the box was pratclly falling apart but he said oh nothing I can do as were closing kow I said I just want a simple refund or asked to speak with the boss and he just out the phone down will be going down tomorrow to collect my refund !!!!!! HOW CAN YOU HAVE PIZZA ABOVE YOU SHOP BUT NOT ABLE TO MAKE 1 CORRENTLY THINK SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE HEAR

Ordered a 12" pepperoni pizza for collection,got home opened it up and was dripping in grease, straight In the bin it went, never again!

Pizzas usually top notch but absolutely shocking tonight. Ordered 2 pizzas and both of them burnt bottom of both pizza's black. Management contacted me and rectified the issue. Good to see they care about customers to explain what happened and sorting the issue out for us

UPDATE: AUG 2022. The owner has since been in touch with me, to apologise for the terrible Service I received and has refunded my meal in full and given me compensation. This is appreciated and I feel appropriate in this situation. 1 to 3 stars now. Thank you Upset at this place. Back in January, ordered a burger and asked for no cheese on it, wrote that in the comments and also rang them to double tell them no cheese, as the person who would be eating it were allergic to it. Burger came with cheese! Rang to tell them, they couldn't do anything that night as were too busy they said, but mention it next time and they would sort it. Few weeks later, decided to order again, as advised by the restaurant, mention the burger in the comments and we will sort it. No burger came, so this time we were down a meal, as the free burger this time would be someones meal. I rang the restaurant, and was told, they didn't see the comment on my order about the owed burger. Finally, ordered another meal 2 days ago, rang them this time before submitting order, to remind them about the burger. This time was told they don't deliver to me as its too far away. I told them they have been delivering here over 2 years. The guy said ok, but were busy, but I'll sort it. Burger came this time. Now, what's made me angry, is the other dish we ordered which was carbonara was disgusting! It was full of oil! (see the picture.) So that's another meal down. So the money spent here to sort this burger issue out, is ridiculous. Its £17 min. order and £5 delivery. So its cost me £66 to sort this burger issue out. I am fed up of being fobbed off by businesses and getting the same old ' we will sort it next time'. well, unfortunately, there's not going to be on for Alessio's. Not happy at all.

Purchased a Pizza, chips and a burger. Burger was undercooked, pizza base tasted like cardboard and I have no way of explaining how "wrong" the pizza sauce tasted. Not terrible, but not good and just not quite right. Offputting enough to not be able to finish. Chips were okay.

Usually recieve lovely food from Alessios. However, today we've had to wait over 2 hours for our food which was cold on arrival and we had to re-heat it all. The pizzas had hardly any toppings on them. Can't see us ordering any time soon

Best pizzas in Huddersfield great service

Had a delivery ordered at 5 pm of over £40 for delivery to home. Food arrived at 6.45 pm only warm ot hot. One of the meals completely missing and staff rude and dismissive. Second part of delivery turned up with missed meal at 7.12 .pm. I have used allesios for over 10 year but never again I will not be buying from allesios again

Greasy sloppy mess of a pizza. Hard warmed-up frozen chips. It's not hard to inspect quality of food offered before boxing or bagging up.... Won't be going here again.

Really nice food I had donnameat & cheesy chips and a nice fresh salad. Portion was very big. Customer service was good & polite I will definitely returning:)

If we could give this place 6 stars, we would. Never had a bad meal. Yes, you sometimes have to wait for your order a little longer than you'd like, but the quality of the food is always worth the wait. This shows how popular it is! On the odd occasion, our order has come missing something, they have been quick to rectify and send the driver back or deliver free items with our next order. We are moving away next week so unfortunately will no longer be Allessios customers. A huge thanks guys (from 59 Greenhead Lane) for the best sat night takeaway food for the last 4 years 😊

OMG absolutely amazing always looked for such quality food! CLzone nachos and fries all absolutely amazing fresh ingredients and fair prices and portioned.. Excellent deffo my new favourite local take away!! 3 weeks later".. The take away owner had even picked up on my review and thanked me with a free piece of fudge cake.. Again the food was amazing, fresh and fair priced.. Can I just add that the friendly family feeling and culture you come across when ordering here makes the service absolutely incredible and almost authentic.. Well done guys deffo still my favourite!

The pizza tastes ok if you don’t mind waiting nearly 2 hours but not what I’d call a ‘proper’ Italian pizza. Staff aren’t particularly helpful when questioned why the order was 45 minutes later. Avoid the chips.

This is my best Italian for Pizza. Lovely airy dough base. Plenty toppings and 12in comes as a square pizza, stuffed and happy! 🙂

Quite simply the best takeout we've had in ages! Fabulous service, spotlessly clean - but the food was outstanding. Highly recommend the chicken kebab - but make sure you get the salad - best salad I've ever eaten at a takeout!!!! Highly recommended - and we'll definitely be back!

First time i used them I had the wrong pizza bit was replaced in an hour one star dropped. thought i try again was told 45mins to an hour, an hour and a half later hadn't turned up so called them told will be there shortly no apology no exact timescale dropped another star finally arrived 1 and half hours late deducted £1 From the bill had a faint apology as the driver was walking away. if the pizza wasn't so nice I would not use them again we shall try a third time see what happens but they will keep losing stars every time they fail to deliver what they are supposed to on time. Great food do the best chicken kebabs here fresh grilled chicken and friendly staff.

I worked for this company a couple months back now and was told i would be paid for my work. I kept on asking for payment and when i was going to be paid and then later got told my assistance wasn't needed no more. I worked for about 5 shifts and still to this day have received no payment. Will defiantly not be going back again.

Delivery never turned up. Man on the phone was rude, hung up when I had to cancel.

Tried for first time last week pizza was good only thing is with donner meat and chips u dont get salad or sauce and seems a greasy tried twice now 19/12/2016 and noticed pizza isnt stone baked and not much meat more veg instead also donner meat cut in very small bits
