A must visit everytime we go into Newcastle. The staff are very friendly and helpful the food is excellent.

Lush Friday night with amazing food and great cocktails. The staff and management are so friendly. Best French Martinis. Overall a great place to visit in town. Thank you from Ricky and Sarah ☺️

Popped in for some lunch with a friend before heading to the theatre. The service from Kate was amazing, she was so helpful when i was having trouble using the app and nothing was too much trouble. Tapas was beautiful. Will 100% be back. Thank you Kate.

Delicious dinner , I had the pad Thai and it was amazing! The nachos are also a must to share with friends. Drinks are good and reasonably priced for city centre. We came on a Saturday table was booked for 7pm only downside was we had to order at the bar and when I have previously visited it’s been table service when sat on the restaurant side. The match had been on so understandable that it was busy but had to queue for a little while to order our food around a full busy bar.

My friends and I came in for a few cheeky cocktails, we were served by the lovely Emma and she recommended the espresso martini. She served us with a smile and speedy service. In all good experience and would highly recommend the cocktails.

Arranged a family meal in All Bar One to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. We had great service from all the staff, especially Emma and Jenna who were friendly and attentive making us all feel welcome from our youngest granddaughter, aged 7 to the birthday man himself. As usual the food was excellent, tasty and beautifully presented. We love the Sandbox Chenin blanc and it’s great to see you can order it in a half litre carafe as well as a bottle. I had the laksa curry with a grilled chicken breast, my husband had chicken Milanese, our daughter and son in law both had the rib eye steak and our granddaughters has fish goujons and chicken nuggets both with chips. We also ordered the trio of fries for the table and we all enjoyed them too. See the photos. We regularly call in to All Bar One and we always feel welcome. Even though it was a busy Saturday late afternoon we received a great level of service with our orders coming in a timely manner. Emma and Jenna worked really hard making our night enjoyable.

Excellent service, food and staff .. such a lovely relaxed environment .. we ate lunch there on new years day .. again everything was perfect .. will definitely return when we visit again

A FABULOUS NEW YEARS EVE - The Champagne & 4 small plates offer was perfect for our early evening celebration

Stumbled upon the bar for a brunch, we were sat on a nice round table although it was a little sticky and therefore we had to ask for it to be cleaned. The ambiance was nice but a little dark for daytime to read the menu's. I had the French toast with berry's which was lovely and a cappucino, others had the bacon sandwich or fry up, all seemed to enjoy the meal. A little strange to have to order the food at the bar, but otherwise service was fine and all was well.

Great place lush food and friendly staff!

Lovely menu, lots of vegetarian options. We chose a selection of dishes to have a tapas lunch. Macaroni and cheese, cauliflower wings, focaccia, mushroom arroncini, sweet potato fries and chicken skewers. Was beautifully presented and very tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and ambient. Staff very attentive and friendly. Recommended for a few drinks and lunch after an afternoon of shopping in town.

second time food was horrible every thing was a mess didn't realise how bad it was until I was sick and realised they properly posined my food like a lot of other place serving me imperfect food or adding chemicals to my food

Called in for breakfast with a friend, food was delicious ,staff were very friendly and could not be more helpful, looking forward to our next visit over Christmas.

Enjoyed this bar, very nicely designed inside, comfortable and great food and drink options. We samples a few different cocktails and plan on going back for the small plates deal on a Tuesday which looks to be very good value.

Love this place !!! Recently popped in for drinks the new Christmas cocktails are unreal and the decorations look incredible (even tho I think it’s too early for crimbo decs I was still blown away lol ) The team always friendly and happy to help

Nice venue but was rammed so took a while to get served and unable to get a seat

40 minute wait for our drinks to come, 45 mins later for our food which wasn't cooked properly. Raw chicken isnt our thing 🤢 £48.00 for two basic meals and 2 cocktails. I wouldn't bother wasting your time or money....shame really because the place is lovely.

Fab experience, my mums b.day had tapa tuesday 4small plates+ 2 drinks. Food beautiful, just enough. Cocktails yummy and 24£14. Service fantastic, young man even wished mum happy birthday!

Had some lovely cocktails here, there was an all-day Sun-Fri special of 2 for £13 which is great value but we had different tastes to the ones included on the offer so didn't avail. We both enjoyed what we did get. Loved the decor and the service was not only friendly but really helpful as my friend had forgotten her phone charger and the barman advised where best to buy one saving us time. Would definitely revisit next time I'm back in the city.

Caught up with a friend while he was home from NZ and I was visiting from USA. Had a delicious lunch with great wines but it was the friendly service from Jenna that made the afternoon special. Convenient location and beautiful decor were added bonuses.

We love this place, 2nd visit & the service, food & atmosphere is flawless We bought a group on voucher for the tapas & vine, we then ordered 3 additional plates, the trio of fries & a kids fish goujons. I also had a voucher for a free glass of wine on the all bar one app & my partner got a pint of Guinness The food came quickly & we weren’t disappointed, I thought we had ordered too much but there wasn’t a thing left, it was lovely, the tacos were unreal We can’t wait to return. 10/10 for customer service as well, no issues with using the voucher & the gift card

I was here about 7 months ago and it was a very average experience. This time we had a very friendly knowledgeable waitress (if I’m allowed that expression these days) - if not I will say wait person. I made a better choice of the chicken and chorizo skewers with sweet potato fries. The desserts were even better, particularly the trio. Reasonable prices, helped by the shareholders vouchers.

Had a brilliant meal here last night. The food was delicious and despite being busy the service was very speedy Couldn't reccomemd this place enough!

Lovely clean tidy restaurant. Lovely deco. Friendly polite staff. Bit pricy but nice food with good sized portions. Had calamari starter lovely had seabass yellow Thai curry lovely meal but rice came out tepid, Luke warm. I managed to get it swapped for hotter rice but they never kept the rest of the meal warm for me, shame Would i come back yes I would try here again and I would recommend to others x

One of my new favourite places. Small plates are so delicious and great portion sizes. The karaage sticky chicken is the perfect balance between sweet and savoury and the calamari is fresh tasting. I recommend downloading app as there’s so many offers for free food and drink!

We’ve visited for a family dinner and few drinks. We have had guests from abroad so the evening was especially important to us. We’ve been served by a lovely staff member Paulina, who was extremely friendly but professional at the same time. She was very attentive and made sure we were all comfortable and happy with the service. Paulina seems like a great fit for the role and definitely made our visit very special. The place was clean and table set very nicely. Overall 10/10 experience. Thank you!

Made welcome from walking in. We were early but not a problem. Food was excellent and plenty for the two of us (4 plates). Nothing was too much and as an example of their excellent customer service I had a coughing episode and the young gentleman appeared with a glass of water to help with this.

Great experience here. It wasn’t too busy though it was a bank holiday, which made it a touch easier ordering drinks. The cocktails were great and the staff at the bar really friendly. Only let down is there is no signal to order from the table so sometimes you are waiting a while at the bar. Lovely decor.

The food wasn't at all good. I've never had such dry foccacia. When I mentioned this I was told foccacia is dry! I have actually had foccacia before! When I said this I was told I'll speak to the chef. Person, who I believe was a senior member of staff didn't even bother coming back to us.

I have been comIng to All Bar One for a while now, staff are really friendly and helpful, its also clean with a lovely atmosphere, the white wine we get,which was recommended by staff, is really nice and i am fussey with wine, and the food is very tasty and well presented. Can not fault the place. Thankyou to Shaun for his fantasic service, a lovely lad, also friendly and happy to serve you.

Great vegan menu. The dessert was the best I have had anywhere. Customer service was excellent. Unfortunately the saxophonist hadn't arrived for the saxy brunch. Staff apologised and kept us informed. When it was confirmed they would not be arriving we were offered desserts as compensation. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. This was my first visit to all bar one but I will definitely be returning.

There was a little bit of confusion with the order, but hand down I received the best customer service you could ask for. 10/10 will be ordering again.

Went on a Tuesday night before going to a gig at the City Hall. Had the Tuesday offer - 4 small plates plus a bottle of wine £25.95. The food was good and can't fault the staff who were very efficient and friendly - will definitely be going back and the friendliness of the staff in a city centre pub isn't always as good as this - obviously good training on Customer Service👍

Visited with family and friends on a Thursday night and was met with a very friendly welcome from all the staff. Felt warm and welcoming from the minute we walked through the door. To be honest i am not surprised as i often come here and have never been disappointed, no matter how busy. I could only wish the rest of the M&B group could offer the same warm welcome. Recently went to Miller and Carter (part of group) but the manager is mega aggressive and rude. Well done All Bar One, great team

Popped in on Sunday while on an unplanned afternoon in town. It was fairly quiet so we got seated without a problem. I had 2 mococktails while we were there which were lovely. We opted for the 5 small plates to share, we weren't extremely hungry but we were absolutely full after we had finished. We went for beef tacos, squid, sticky chicken, prawns and duck gyoza. Everything was beautiful and cooked to perfection. Will definitely visit again to try the other food.

We understood that the table was only available for 2 hours not that I agree with that! However when our time was up we were told very abruptly by what seemed to be a senior member of staff. We did not appreciate the way we were spoke to and were made to feel very unwelcome. I normally wouldn’t book a table but we had met my sister who has dementia and needed to sit. We won’t be back

First time visit, was fantastic, the decor lovely, the food & cocktails amazing!

Booked a table for 8:30 at all bar one. We had a wowcher deal for 4 plates and a bottle of wine. From the moment we stepped into the place, the experience was disjointed. A sign was posted at the restaurant entrance stating “to go to the bar” for seating. Unsure why the restaurant seating couldn’t be monitored by someone. We went to the bar which was full of people and managed to speak with someone who advised us he would meet us back at the entrance of the restaurant seating. We went back over, to then wait a bit to be seated while they cleaned the table. Once finally seated, we chose our order from the set menu of small plates. Only to be told 3 out of 4 plates we chose were sold out. After choosing again (having to select food we weren’t too fussed on) and ordering, we waited around 45 minutes for our food. Fair enough if it was a large group order and if it was really busy, but there was only one other couple eating and it was just the two of us ordering. We ordered the halloumi fries, chorizo and halloumi skewers, kaarage sticky chicken and wild caught Argentinian prawns. We also opted to get the sharing plate of chips (trio of fries) which was £10.50. The prawns came cold, with overcooked toast. Halloumi fries were average. Kaarage sticky chicken was the best dish of the meal but again, the last dish ‘chicken and halloumi skewers’ were a massive let down. Two pieces of halloumi and some small chorizo (£7.95 on its own) Also £10.50 for the trio of fries and they were going cold and so dry. The worst chips I’ve had at a restaurant. One pot of chips had big clumps of unmelted cheddar ontop too. Nobody checked on us throughout the entire meal and a waitress arrived to take plates while we were finishing our drinks, 10 minutes after we finished eating. Bad service, overpriced bland/ cold food. I’d definitely avoid eating here.

Good atmosphere, lovely food, poor service. Nowhere near enough staff on. We had a booking. You go to the front desk and there’s a sign there which says go to the bar. You queue at the bar (for ages) and they send you back to the front desk which still says go to the bar! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Then, ordered a bottle of red wine, and they brought white. Ordered our food, then they came back later as they’d forgotten the order. Not the staff’s fault, though, it’s the owner/management. The staff are so stretched they are literally running around the place, literally!

Lovely food, great value, tapas deal.

We decided to give this another go with a groupon as we had such a lovely experience the first time, unfortunately our second visit was completely different. Even though I booked 2 weeks in advance we were offered a seat behind the door in the corner, we requested to move and were put near the toilet with a solid wall separating us from fellow diners, this was such a shame as we could see other people just having drinks in the main body of the restaurant, I think if you are dining you want a better experience. The first time we came we could get pinot grigio (which we like) not this time, which was disappointing given there was not really a price difference for the ones on offer. We did still enjoy the food, we decided on beef tacos, prawns, calamari and humous with pitta bread it was all delicious 😋 if you book request a booth it made all the difference to us.

We went for afternoon brunch and it was decent,a bit limited in cocktails but nice enough,food was good aswell.

We were bought a gift voucher for Christmas. Tbh we didn’t know what to expect with it been a chain. We were seated in a booth, as I requested. There is loads of choice on the menu. We opted for the tapas dishes, the portions were great. We were really impressed with the food, the tacos were well lovely.
