Friendly people, nice service, very nice kebab and rice, we love the place , fantastic quality as 20 years ago.

We had the most delicious meal at Alounak. Food was absolutely delicious, restaurant ambience so wonderful and the hospitality we experienced whilst visiting from South Africa was so warm and welcoming. We felt like we were in someone's home. Cannot recommend this fantastic restaurant enough!

I recently dined for the first time and tried two dishes. both were absolutely delicious and a wonderful introduction to Persian cuisine. The flavors were rich and unique, leaving a great impression. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and happy to answer questions about the menu. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try Persian food. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!

Alounak Persian Restaurant truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. For the appetizer, we ordered Kashk Bademjoon, and it was absolutely delightful. The blend of flavors was perfect, with the creamy texture of the eggplant complemented by the tangy kashk. A fantastic start to our meal! For the main course, we chose the Makhsos, which includes one skewer of Koobideh and one skewer of lamb steak. Both skewers were perfectly grilled, tender, and bursting with flavors. The accompanying rice was fluffy and aromatic, making the entire dish a treat for the taste buds. Overall, dining at Alounak was an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Most incredible Persian restaurant that I’ve been to. I travel to London from Texas just to enjoy their AMAZING dishes.

We had a wonderful night. In particular the food was superbly cooked and presented and plentiful. The staff were so mindful and welcoming and helpful and overall a fantastic evening all round and I highly recommend this place.

We even had a takeaway to the home.. The food gets TASTIER with every bite.. I really appreciate everyone who works at this place. You guys are an amazing team.. May you all be healthy and grow well.. We've been trying food from different places but I can tell this is one of the BEST!!! Wallah!! THANK YOU!!! The CHEF Deserves a hike!! Five of us ladies dined here for dinner and what can I say. The fresh smell of noon when you enter the restaurant to the tasteful decor. We were greeted by a lovely stylish manager who attended to all our needs. We tried a selection of starters and mains on the menu. Food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Overall our experience at Alounak Restaurant exceeded our expectations and we will be returning. Thank you for a great night! 💃🏻

I visited today as a surprise for my husband and our third wedding anniversary. It’s our first time and I am so happy we came her from the beginning to end it was amazing the atmosphere was very cosy and homely the food was fresh and tender lamb was refreshing to have homemade Iranian food the mixed starter was just how I imagined the mirza ghazami was yum I will definitely go again and recommend to friends and family Some might say it is overpriced but I think it was worth the money and you have to try the Persian ice cream with baklava 🥰🥰 and definitely have a homemade lemonade it is so refreshing the staff are amazing friendly and make it worth it

I love the restaurant! I ordered Baghali polo that it was amazing and a really good portion I eat a lot and I take the rest home! I’m a very big fan of the lamb and it was perfect cooked! The owner and the staff are super nice :)

The staff is extremely amazing, very welcoming. The food is just on another level. The best Bakali polo I've ever had. I also had a seabass( not you're traditional persian dish) but it was amazing. Roya was extremely kind and tenantive

Iranian cuisine. In a historical area and in the city centre. Seating area is a bit cramped. The food is delicious. The soup in the bowl in the photo is of a solid consistency. Its content and taste were perfect, it was sour. There is no need to explain Iranian rice. Tea was served. The tea presentation was very nice.

‏Very clean, great atmosphere, and excellent food. The kebab (kobideh)tasted just like it does in Iran. The portion size was just right, and there was no feeling of heaviness after eating.

I recently visited this restaurant that left a lot to be desired. The kebabs were dry and tasteless, the lamb shake was old and unappetizing, and the service was incredibly poor. Not only did the waitress take forever to take our order, but she also seemed disinterested and unprofessional. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also extra bad. There were some people at a nearby table who were clearly intoxicated, laughing loudly, and causing a disturbance. It was uncomfortable to dine in such an environment, and it definitely took away from the overall dining experience. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. The food was subpar, the service was lacking, and the atmosphere was less than desirable. Save yourself the disappointment and find somewhere else to eat.

We had a brilliant time here with a large group of people. They served us delicious food (kobideh) with lamb and chicken. The starters were awesome too (hummus and baba ganoush). The server Roya was very friendly and courteous. Don’t forget to have the hot Persian tea after your meal. 5 out 5.
