Amaro Bar in Kensington and Chelsea

Excellent martini, knowledgeable staff. It’s a strangely set up bar in terms of decor but the drinks are really well made

One of the worst bars ive ever visited very bad service, the tables were empty but they kept us standing the whole time saying its booked its booked while no one come at all 😂

Probably one of the best cocktail lounges I’ve been to. With friendly staff who know their stuff and a great selection of cocktails - you can guarantee I’ll be back and recommending the place to friends and family.

Made a solo booking on a Saturday evening. Nice place for a solo cocktail--easy bar seating and super-fun bartenders who definitely know their craft. Cool cocktail menu, though they also make all the classics. An apricot daquiri was a nice twist on an old favorite, perfectly mixed and served ice cold. Overall vibes...meh. While the service was awesome and decor elegant, the vibe reflects the area (Kensington)...which is clearly some people's jam, but not especially mine. Would I tell any cocktail lover that they will have a good experience here? For sure. Will I put it at the top of my list of best London bars, drinks, service, and vibes all in? Probably not. Good stop overall, though.

A solid selection of cocktails, including an excellent blend of classics and bar-owned creations. The service makes you feel relaxed and is very willing to share stories behind their drinks. I tried three different cocktails, all really good, and in addition, the bartender generously shared a taste of the guava pisco they prepare for their signature pisco sour. I'll come back soon!

We was directed here by another bar as they weren't opening till next week and what a great recommendation this was! we racked up a large bill over the night as the drinks were incredible. Some of the best whisky cocktails I have ever had our bartender Alessandro was amazing with his great hospitality and skills and knowledge about his drinks. Cannot wait to go back soon!

The drinks in Amaro are the best I have ever had and the service is just fantastic. It’s a really super place on Kensington high street that clearly has great management. I’ll be back for sure I can recommend this bar to anyone that finds themselves in Kensington.

For drinks such a nice place in a really nive area. Small place so might be difficult to Get a table. Service was awesome. Would def go back.

Was checking for place for some good cocktails on the way back from Royal Albert hall. Found this place.... Might of walked past it since nartow front...... But walked in and clearly a very clasy cocktail bar.... Expectstions became high.... Waiter Micheale was spot on... attentive engaged and focused on us enjoying ourselves. We had a couple each.... Me going with an unusual with fennel and whisky.... Refreshing and surprising delicous..... But then i defaulted to a Mia Tia which although it was not on the menu they had no problem to make it for me....now thats service!!... ...and it came with large ice cube with "A" for Amaro.... No thats atention to detail and great branding My wife had two stunning cocktails as well but cannot recall their names. Was it the service the quality the experience but best mia tia have had (and i am 59!!)..... Great evening.... Great job guys.... Will be back again soon. 😃

We stumbled across Amaro on High Street Kensington by accident, looking for a classy spot to take my beautiful wife for pre di ner drinks. What a happy accident that was! The staff were extremely professional, very knoledgeable and happy to talk about their extensive whiskey, gin and other various spirit collection. It is a very fine collection and takes pride of place on show behind the bar. We ordered an extra dry martini for my wife anda manhattan for me. We were regailed by the bar Tender of the drinks history and there many guises. My wife gave him her preference of extra dry with an olive but I decided to let him make me his favourite recipe manhattan. Great fun and entertaining. The cocktails were first class. If you are looking for a bit of class and a quality drink I would heartily recommend this place.

Very high quality cocktail bar with 5 star service at reasonable prices. Not surprisingly most of the staff here worked at a top London hotel for several years.

Is not possible to explain how amazing these cocktails are! I wanted to try all the cocktails menu after i tried the first, but caramel punch is something that hit me too much that i could not order another one! Great the food too, tuna tartare is incredible, all my compliment to chef! But the best thing of this place is the team, they are looking after every customer like a friend, all of them, well done Michele and Victor and Thanks a lot for your explanations on cocktails to the italian manager! WELL DONE! I'll be back soon for another caramel punch! Bravi
