Food was cold and did not taste well. Meat tasted rancid and when I questioned staff they completely disregarded it. Staff member Ismail was very disrespectful and started to shout and call us liars. Generally one of the worse experiences I have had would not recommend at all

Fantastic food and service. Food is very different to what you expect. All freshly prepared and cooked. Slight delay in between courses though the restaurant was full so it’s understandable however most definitely worth the wait.

Had the curry and my stomach was hurting for a 3 days after and I had constant toilet runs. I had high hopes for this place and I’ve been let down. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The workers were VERY rude.

This place is amazingly good at pretty much every level. Probably the best Indian-inspired food I've ever had, clearly all freshly cooked, with some great flavours, imagination and presentation. Staff also excellent, with some of the best service I've come across. Its also unbelievably good value for the quality of the food and the overall experience. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service and very nice food.

Lovely staff with great service. Reassuringly clearly marked allergies on menu for gluten-free. We were excited because it’s not your usual run of the mill menu. Complimentary mango lussi shot and pani puri tasters. Not expensive and good portions. Clean bathrooms and imaginative dining room decoration. Onion bhajis were beautifully cooked and presented. Butter chicken was the most flavourful and full of chicken. Coconut chilli chicken was very coconut-y but little spice and three chilli heat was just from fresh chilli garnish. Garlic naan was fluffy & tasty and pilau rice nicely cooked. Trouble is, bhaji had no spices nor real flavour or seasoning. Both curries were overly sweet, saag aloo was really just potato and no spice nor sufficient seasoning. I really want to say how nice overall our experience deserved five stars but we prefer far bolder, more authentic flavours.

Deeply disappointing experience. After calling the restaurant at 5:30 PM to confirm if they were open and accepting delivery orders, I was assured they were. When I double-checked on Google Maps, it showed the restaurant as closed, so I called again. This time, I was told they only take delivery orders via Uber Eats. Following their instructions, I downloaded the Uber Eats app and placed my order, which was confirmed. After waiting for 30–40 minutes, I received a notification that the restaurant had cancelled my order. Upon calling the restaurant, I was told they had decided not to accept further orders. This contradicted the assurances I was given earlier and left me scrambling to make alternative arrangements during this festive period while hosting friends and family. This level of miscommunication and poor service is unacceptable. It felt like takeaway customers are treated as an afterthought compared to dine-in guests, which is especially disappointing as a regular customer who has enjoyed dining in before. If the restaurant cannot handle delivery or takeaway orders, they should not offer these services. This experience has seriously impacted my trust in their ability to deliver consistent service. I would not recommend their ability to manage orders and urge the management to address these issues to prevent future customer dissatisfaction.

A new restaurant offering a super selection of well presented delicious dishes. Not your normal Indian restaurant. Well worth checking out the menu.

The staff are so friendly, polite and professional. The food was all amazing- so tasty and well presented. I would really recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be going back soon

Family of four on a Thursday night special. Front af house and staff nice and friendly. Beautiful interior, a lot bigger inside than you imagined. Food was amazing!!!!. One of the best restaurants around . Many thanks to all at AMAZE for a great night . Can't wait to return.

Fantastic food and new favourite Indian when you want something a little different/upmarket from your usual Indian, 100% recommend, only thing was service was a little slow in getting starter and clearing them however it was a busy friday night and rest of courses was perfect cant wait to go back.

Great food and service. We went early and restaurant was quiet but that was fine for us. Food was delicious and great spices. I had the chicken jalfrezi and would get it next time. Had a mixed starter so we could share and have a taste of different foods. Would recommend.

What a beautiful restaurant this is, the decor, the staff and the food was all over 100% perfect. Enjoyed our first meal here tonight with my auntie and daughter and enjoyed it from start to finish, all staff you were all fantastic and chef your food was amazing and price was very good. I can't believe I didn't review immediately, I have been whooping on about how wonderful it was. Food outstanding. Everything was just that bit more special than other Indian restaurants. Service excellent. The mains were the standout dishes, we all had specials. We were three and all loved it. Returning tonight.

Our first time there last night for our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! Food was absolutely delicious and very well presented. Staff were very attentive. We will definitely be coming back. So lovely to have such an amazing restaurant so locally!

Really delicious food with great flavour and not at all greasy. We ordered the takeaway banquet and there is such attention to detail and care taken. The staff were lovely and friendly and the restaurant inside looks amazing! We can’t wait to try it for a sit in next time. Really impressed.

Went on Thursday 11th July with my wife,daughter and her husband for a fathers day treat. This was our first visit,and certainly won't be our last. The food was exceptional,as was the service. We all had different main courses,and agreed they were some of the best ever. Service was just perfect from two great guys and not hurried. Special mention for the chef(chefs)who certainly know how to cook. Best Indian food ever.

We got a takeaway - it was so delicious, was still hot when we got it home! The staff were all very welcoming and the price was really reasonable. Beautiful decor inside though we didn’t eat in.

We visited for a takeaway which was our first time ordering from Amaze. The food was exceptional and the service we received on entering and talking to the staff was excellent. We had the takeaway special and all dishes were well made and very tasty, no excess of spices or flavourings. Just a good solid curry! Will definitely be back.

Absolutely superb experience from start to finish. Can't recommend Amaze enough. We got the 7 course taster menu and each dish was exquisitely balanced and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back.

Truly lives up to its name, the whole experience was amazing! Staff are lovely and so welcoming, and the food was delicious! I have never had indian food as fresh or delicious. We tried the banquet, and it truly was a tasting experience 😋 Definitely recommend!

Had heard only wonderful things about this lovely place. And I’d recommended it without hesitation. I had the Lamb Balti and it contained generous chunks of the most tasty and tender lamb. I had a takeout but the place is lovely and the customers dining all seemed to be having a lovely time. They have offers on but the quality and value is the best incentive I could point you to. It’s away from the many restaurants on Whitley Road and that can be a good thing. Great food, lovely staff and excellent value.

Picked up 2 buffet specials £16.95 each (£18.95 advertised on menu), food was amazing really tasty and plenty of chicken. Restaurant was fab with amazing decor. Had a good chat with the 2 lads serving one being fellow monkseaton local. Very welcoming. A refreshing change to all the other reasturants in the area. Will definitely be a return customer 😀

The food was excellent different from any Indian restaurants I have been too, so much flavour in every mouthful. The staff are so friendly and professional. We will definitely be recommending it.

If you’re after a normal “ curry and rice “ this isn’t the place for you . If you’re after a special culinary experience, delivered with 5 star service, book , you’ll not be disappointed. The food is delicious, the decor is brilliant, the atmosphere , tonight was excellent. Definitely will be returning & recommending.

Nothing about this place amazes. Very pedestrian food, very odd decor. 5 of us dined here and we were all very underwhelmed.

Restaurant was empty couldn’t fit us in said we had to make a reservation when tried to ring to make a reservation no answer had the take away disappointed as we saw all good reviews. Not as good as a Bradford curry

Me and 2 friends booked for a Tuesday night, Absolutely beautiful restaurant, menu was very unique, and something different from the usual indians, food was delicious and hospitality was top game, totally understand why the owners other restaurant have won many awards.

This is an incredible restaurant, it is definitely fine dining at its best. The staff are very attentive but there is time in between food to really enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. Looking forward to our next visit, wishing everyone at Amaze the best for the future we need a restaurant like this

My wife and I were made to feel so special and welcome as soon as we stepped into the restaurant. The ambiance is only surpassed by the excellent service and incredible food. This is no ordinary Indian restaurant. I have never tasted Indian cuisine like it. I highly recommend this restaurant.
