Popped in for a light lunch with my one year old, ham and cheese omelette well filled and beautifully cooked, everyone really welcoming, would definitely call in again.

Visited Ambrys cafe for a late breakfast last Saturday. Have been here many times before, and as usual the full English breakfast was great. Bacon and sausage is from the local butcher and comes with egg, beans, hash brown, mushrooms and two slices of toast. Two breakfasts plus two cups of tea for £10..... you just can’t go wrong. The staff are all volunteers and make everyone welcome. They really are a fantastic group of people.

The Lawrence Batley Theatre, Queen's Square, Queen Street.Always a pleasure visiting here. Great range of soups and reasonably priced coffee £2 or pot of tea £1.60 (Dec '18). The staff are friendly and there's a outdoor seating area which in summer is a real sun trap.

283 Halifax RoadWhat a lovely place. Very welcoming. The food was amazing. Would highly recommend you try this place. The roast of the day was really good. The 1, 2 or 3 course lunch menu is really good value. With the generous portions we only managed a main course.

1 RotcherGreat selection of craft beers, always changing. Highly recommend 'Neck oil' when it's on. Loads of choice for non beer drinkers too. Not tried the food since it's changed, menu looks good though. Really friendly and helpful staff.
