Lovely reasonably priced food, we think the coffee nicer than Costa (since they changed hands)

Fabulous fish and chips delicious and fresh

Have visited the Bedford lodge before. Went for a Christmas party night. Food was absolutely terrible. Starter was ok, main Christmas dinner - vegetables rock hard (more than al dente)potatoes tasted horrible. Cheese and crackers for dessert, crackers were soft. Very disappointed.

We had an amazing time. The food was lovely, it felt like being on holiday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back again in the future.
