Every time I’ve ordered from here the food has always been delicious. I order from here all the time and have many times in the past

Popped in here for a late tea for convenience....chips were absolutely awful, dry, soggy and tasteless. Usually use wetmore road chippy. Definitely avoid here.

This has got to be the worst food and customer service in Burton upon Trent. Reheated chips from the afternoon, soggy and utterly tasteless. Waste of £10 paid for cold kebab and chips. The dog did enjoy the chips and cold kebab meat.

Ordered wrong chips as in should have ordered the battered chips that this place offers specifically on a Wednesday. Granted I made a mistake but the usual chips this place cooks are absolutely vile. Greasy and cold food this place serves. Manager is dissulisioned thinking his food is fresh and tasty as no one else complains. It's probably because they have no taste and eat anything that lacks any taste. Gave the food back as it was not fit for human consumption. No refund offered. Point blankly refused. Hope you choke on the 10 quid you made from serving horrible food. Please stay away from this place. Customer service is zero.

Best kebabs in Burton don't mind traveling for there food keep up the good work chips are always fresh 2!!

I’ve been twice now since it was under new management. Last time the chips were only possible but my second visit the Chips were so white, soggy and tasteless.

First visit for a while. Granted, this is a take away chippy in Horninglow but .... what has happened to their prices. Chips , peas and 2 small battered sausages ( 1 for the dog ) in a tray .£6.60. This is around half the price at other local shops.Chips weren’t the best. Sausage tasted like it had been warmed up from lunch time. £3 for chips in a tray, £1 for half a spoon of peas . £1.20 each for sausages. Think it’s the chips that have doubled in price. Won’t be using again .

Service was average, with no please or thank-you from anyone, let alone any small talk.Chips were okay; better than their nearest rival.Sausages were awful and tasted of cigarette ash.Pies were the usual Pukka variety. Okay I suppose, but they aren’t that nice compared with the likes of Holland’s pies.Fish gave the impression of being ready battered and frozen, then reheated. Not nice.I’ll be going back to Calais Fish Bar in future.

Have a mixed kebab every Saturday great value and tasty also tried fish and chips and chicken which I would also recommend

Yo vivo en Burton on Trent y tienen 4 tiendas chip local para mí, todos ellos buenos, pero Angelos es cabeza y hombros por encima del resto. La comida es excelente y la señora que lleva todo es absolutamente encantador.Gente encantadora y deliciosa comida. Pero ten cuidado. Las raciones son enormes.

An occasional lunchtime stop and always received generous portions of fantastic food, chips especially. They do the full range of fish & chip shop goods and it is always busy.

Also friendly and great service, good fresh fish and chips. Chips are always crunchy. Kebabs are yummy too.

By far the best fish and chip shop around. Big portions no matter what I have it's always great from kebabs to cod and mushy peas the only place to go for a chipy tea

I Have Used This Chip Shop For Over 10 Years!! .. Never Experienced A Bad Meal!! Best In Burton!!! I Wouldn't Use Any Other Chippy Whilst This One Is Open!!

The food is fantastic and well priced. Always freshly cooked and served with a smile. Ample parking to the rear. They also sell a good selection of specials!
