Absolutely fantastic, authentic Italian meal, best service I think I’ve ever had. Friendly, welcoming, spotlessly clean.

I have visited Angolos a few times now and I've never been disappointed. I brought my mother to Angolos for a family meal out and she said it was "the best pizza and Italian dining experience she has had outside of Italy". And she has been to Italy MANY times.

Lovely little Italian restaurant. If you are around the area and fancy some Italian food choose them. My sister and I had Linguine allo Scoglio pasta. It was amazing. Friendly service too.

My partner and I came here for what ought to have been a nice relaxing dinner, instead there was a party downstairs (easily over 30 people), loud music blaring, the party’s guests were standing up, ordering from the bar, very intoxicated and generally loud. This felt a little like a let down given lockdown only recently ending and the staff seemed very much fed up of said group. We were fully aware that this wasn’t necessarily the staff’s fault but perhaps a point to keep in mind that the atmosphere changes drastically when such parties are held, especially as we began our evening on the outside (mostly enclosed) terrace and had to ask to move indoors due to 4 of the 6/7 people smoking and blowing smoke towards our table. As non smokers this really isn’t something you want to experience over dinner. To the restaurant’s merit we received a free dessert and a shot of limoncello each to compensate for the experience, but all in all we left feeling disappointed and as though what ought to have been a nice relaxed restaurant with a buzz became a loud, rowdy club-like environment. I would 100% order food from here to be delivered/collected as I cannot fault the actual food, equally the wine we ordered was great, just a bit of a shame that the atmosphere wasn’t quite what we were looking for.

DISCLAIMER: FOOD WAS AMAZING, SERVICE NON EXISTENT Currently sat here whilst being told it’s time to leave after waiting all evening for service. Not a single thing ordered arrived on time, with one members starter arriving after their main. Some drinks were ordered 5 times before actually arriving at the table. I understand that times are tough with the current restrictions but the service was awful. When food and drink did arrive at the table it was flavourful and portion sizes were good. Cocktails ordered that actually arrived at the table were tasty and mixed well. Would return based on the food, not a chance if the service is to continue.

Had a delicious pizza and beers on the terrace at Angolos with a group of friends. Pizza was fantastic, staff were extremely friendly and it had a great atmosphere - definitely be back.

Angolo, the name sounds like a weird cross between Angelo and Angolo, is actually an Italian restaurant and one of a new group to have first opened in the fateful year of 2020 including Fisher’s an upmarket fish and chip restaurant and Fenn a modern British restaurant perhaps the most upmarket Wandsworth Bridge Road has ever seen. They are all converted ground floors of houses with small wooden terraces where front gardens may once have been. In the first weekend after out of lockdown three these terraces were the only parts of the restaurants legally open. Space was at a premium and we were offered a table with two seats despite having booked as a group of three such that a third chair was placed at the side making everything a bit cramped. Behind me it looked as if a group of seven had been squeezed onto a table for no more than five. So it could have been worse. Fortunately the food took our minds off our immediate surroundings. From an extensive menu of individual and sharing starters, pastas, pizzas and a few mains we chose pieces bruschetta with slices of tomato on top and a fritto misto of rubbery squid, crunchy king prawns with some creamy aioli; then a generous pappardelle with bolognese ragu for my daughter, a large slice of salmon on a bed of green beans for my wife, whilst I had a capricciosa pizza with the freshest of ingredients such as ham and artichokes with mozzarella cheese. Desserts looked good but we felt slightly cold and needed a brisk walk to warm up. The table of seven were still imbibing colourful cocktails as we left.

One of the best pizza places on the Wandsworth Bridge Road. The Capricciosa was made from scratch and was the right mix of toppings. A special word of thanks for the staff who are friendly and gave us a warm welcome even though all we brought was a take away pizza!

Amazing roast, vegetables cooked to perfection and I highly recommend the truffle cauliflower cheese. Service was also very good, and quick polite smile. I’ve found my new location for a tasty Sunday roast
