Angus Steakhouse in City of London, Westminster

Didn't have any of the starters we ordered. Waiter forgot our water. Steak, however, was tasty and well cooked. Located next door to the restaurant voted best in London. If only we'd approached from the other direction.

Very tasty food and the service was great. We ordered the birthday cake when we made the reservation and the serenade performance was great.

Absolutely fantastic staff. They were always quick and worked together well but we did not feel rushed. Starters were served with drinks (very quickly). The food was all amazing, cannot fault it. We had the Angus burger and fries. Also had dessert and I can thoroughly recommend the Black Forest Brownie.

Best steak in London. Highly recommend

I had the traditional fish and chips, it was cooked to perfection unfortunately it was covered in salt so I could not finish it, the staff were more interested in getting you out once you had finished and the music was so loud that they could not hear when I tried to complain, I had the waiter leaning across me to pour the water from the bottle. My partner had the steak which he said was tasty, and cooked to perfection also the cheesecake was lovely

The steak was very good cooked keeping it still tender and juicy. We shared some starters as well and those were amazing as well. It was honestly a very successful and fun dinner with good food, good environment and lovely, friendly staff. Definitely recommend and next time we visit London, we will for sure be coming back.

Nice atmosphere, great service, food came quickly... The quality and quantity was no better than the food at McDonalds. None of us were full. Value for money was really bad. Looks more like a tourist trap to me.

Terrible food! It’s been terrible for the the many years it’s been there but I thought I’d give it another go but little has changed. The steak was tough and chewy and lacked any kind of quality whatsoever. The staff are nice enough and they are friendly but the food is utterly Abysmal!

Just visited this restaurant with my wife and a friend and our experience was absolutely wonderful. Food was amazing, quick service as well and very friendly staff from our lovely waitress Nicoleta, to the managers Reda and Gatian that were on shift. Managed to turn even the busiest times into good environment even between other staff members, not only for costumers. Definitely recommend.

Ordered nachos, steak and fries, garden salad. Beer and glass of wine. Really have to say overall disappointed with the nachos as the size of a small hand platter.. recommend that you don’t buy nachos. Steak is nothing spectacular. Salad was disappointing. Overall, the price was not really warranted. I recommend you bypass this restaurant.

Literally best spot in London for food. Moved here 5 years ago from the US, can’t think of a better place. Always take my family here when they come. I feel like they’re my family now too

Excellent Christmas Eve dinner. Eleni was really very kind, nice and approachable and always available to make us have the best experience possible, and above all always smiling and friendly when you asked her for advice (very attentive to allergies and intolerances)! The beef and sausages were excellent, as were the sweet potatoes and eggs (maybe the yolk slightly overcooked, but still good). Very fair prices considering the extremely central location and that we are still in London. Service costs deserved, especially because the welcome towards Italians is very warm. We will definitely be back to try more!

I am an American and this is the best steak I have ever had in my life. Even though the British food has bad reputation, this steakhouse is very special. if you’re traveling in London, definitely give a try. Even though it’s a bit pricey. It really worth the experience.

Me and my kids were very hungry, and it was our first time coming to this restaurant so we expected something good. Turns out, it’s just meat on a plate and nothing better. If you want any sauce or mash or fries it costs extra. Don’t get me wrong the staff and the steak was lovely just not for the price. The steak was lovely, but had barely any flavour, I had to keep drenching it in the peppercorn sauce. Wouldn’t recommend

We were back tonight, Great service from Tanya, Nicoleta, Gatien, Juan and Reda.. Cocktails by Gosia were to die for and the food was just as good as last time. We cant wait to be back

My friend and I had a great time at Angus Steakhouse. We both went for the T-bone steak with sweet potato fries and it was amazing (: !! Our server, Elani, was super friendly and took great care of us. We had an awesome night so thanks to everyone one but especially Elani for helping and serving us!

Came for my birthday on Saturday and had great service, we were served by a young woman who was very nice and helpful. We had a great time, we ordered the côte de boeuf and a t-bone steak, both were delicious. We didn’t feel rushed to finish our wine after when we still had after a bottle left after we finished our food which was nice. They also all came out and sung me happy birthday with my dessert which I wasn’t expecting. Thanks guys! :)

The staff were great and extremely welcoming. 5 stars to them but the steak lacked flavour and wasn’t really value for money. Need more flavour in your steaks. I kept dipping it in sauce to make it have some taste.

“Please, I’m begging you—don’t come here. First off, the tables are crammed so close together there’s barely any room to eat. Second, the steak? It literally tastes like plastic and feels like a full-on jaw workout. Honestly, you could grab a steak from Aldi, and it would be way better than this place. Nachos with some cheap cheese sauce for a restaurant is a NO NO that is criminal!!! Im not at a cinema so i expect a lot better especially for the price!!! Very disappointed and will not be going back.

They give some nachos with cheap cheese sauce you get at cinemas and it should be better than that and they get the order completely wrong and I waited an hour for this bs so I don’t recommend to go there and I know I won’t go there ever again 🤬😡🤬😡

The worst steak I have ever had. I had a T-bone. Very Tough and Chewy. The Worst Ever. My friend had a Fillet. It was also Tough and Chewy. I will never go to this place again. Especially as it was rather expensive too. 0 out of 5. Would not even give 1 star. Terrible food.

The service was great, but the food was really not tasty at all, we had sirloin steak with herb sauce. It looked completely different from the photos and was way too expensive, definitely not recommended.

I arrived at a very very busy time had not booked a table but when I asked for a seat due to my diabetes making me lethargic and dizzy the staff were amazing and thoughtful and kind. Found a table and quick food to help my condition. Well done staff and thank you again. Saturday 14th December. Oh the meal was excellent.

Right, I was there with my partner for a nice evening out to dine. The staff were helpful and there was a manager seemed to be French, he came across very professional and gave positive customer service and we were very pleased with his professionalism . What has disappointed me was when my partner got up to use the toilet facilities, he walked past the French manager who stood next to the toilet entry and made an inappropriate comment to my partner saying, “ all the girls are looking at you” as in he is very handsome. This was revealed to me straight after he got back from the toilet visit . This comment was very unprofessionals to make when he knew we were a couple! We didn’t go there to find a girl for my partner and that comment was made to him secretly by the manager! I did not appreciate that unprofessional behaviour by him. There was a female manager who walked with him she was a gem ! Thank you to the lady . Next time he won’t dare to make that secret comment to my partner!!!!!!

It's nice but very stingy on the quantity for the price. A steak for £31 or €40 with 5 unfortunate pieces and fries spread out on the plate to take up the space. A small salad with a presentation wouldn't be too much of a ask. At this price, a whole steak is expected. Fortunately the ribs are worth their price but the fries will be extra. I won't go back there again

£30 for a chewy steak, plus £5 extra for chips, and £2 for sauce, no, I don't think I'll go back. Wings were ok, but would be a lot better with a blue cheese dip, or at least the option of one.

Had a mixed grill, sassages were over cooked and hard. The gamon steak was 50% fat and the steak was tough and chewy. The £4.50 beef dripping fries were a small handful of cheep frozen fries which tasted like the were done in an air fryer. The only nice thing was the red wine sauce. Didn't finish my meal, it was disgusting and very expensive. Staff were pleasant and polite

The waitress was very friendly. For the rest I was quite disappointed especially for the dish which presents itself as the image of typical Parisian brasseries... Well I don't know which Paris it is but the image speaks for itself. And the taste was like the visual. I cut my dinner short. Damage

First of all, calling it Angus Steakhouse is sacrilege. It should be called Angus Dreamhouse, because that is what it serves. Dreams. Medium/rare dreams. The moment that slab of beauty touched my face, I thought I was being kissed by God. I almost rated the atmosphere 1, because it was so good, I felt the scale had to start again. I was like… where do you go from 5..? If you are from outside England. Go here. Shhh, shut up. I know, I know.. you wanted to try Cote as well, well get your head screwed on. Angus, now. Book. Heaven awaits. You made it kid.

Very good but I found three hairs in my fish and chips that made it not very pleasant.

First time been to this chain and we were disappointed, it was ram jammed ( thurs 1900) we were sat either side of table of 2 and so close to each other, waited about 30 minutes for our food to come out and the ribeye and sirloin steak were both very chewy even though med rare and the calamari we had was very greasy , couldn’t fault the staff as they were so busy , ended up paying over £120 ( the cheesecake was nice )

Speechless at just how bad this place is. I'm looking at some of the 5* reviews and wondering if they actually ate at the same place. At any price, the steak would be awful, but at Angus's inflated prices? Despair all who come here, you'll leave with an empty wallet, and saddened at just how little of that they're actually spending on their meat.

Absolutely amazing! Me and my family had dinner at this place today and it met all of our expectations. Good music, good ambiance, friendly staff and amazing food. My daughter had some intolerances as well and they was so carefull with everything. Our lovely waitress, Eleni, she did an amazing job taking care of us and also took time to explain us the allergens for my daughter. We ordered a 1kg T- bone and it was so juicy and tender and we absolutely loved it. We had the ribs as well and it was probably the best ones we ever had. Also the managers on shift, Dorota and Gatian make a great team, always smiling and always paying attention to everything. We, for sure will visit again before our holiday finishes.

I can only have praise for the restaurant and the people who work there. We had a mistake on our bill,I was more than happy to leave it cos the food and service was so good. The manager gave us a free dessert and drink, which I did say I was happy to leave the money as a tip. She wouldn't have that and wanted us to have the freebie and money back. Really great service and lovely friendly staff. Well done.

First time with my grandmother in London and we decided to eat at this restaurant. It waa such a lovely experience from the food to the ambiance to the lovely staff. Our waiter, Eleni was so friendly and all smiles, always making sure we had everything we needed at the table. We also had the pleasure to interact with the managers, Dorota and Gatian, also very friendly and also very funny but at the same time, extremly proffesional. It was so nice to have such an experience in the centre of London. We highly recommend this restaurant and for sure we will stop here again before we leave.

Really good service and food that you can't get wrong! Steaks and even had a T bone available which was a special for 80 pounds unfortunately who ever cut it didn't do an amazing job only reason I gave a 4! As you would expect it cut in slices not random cubes and chunks.

We were greeted with such big smiles at the door by Tanya she gave us an amazing table we had a great convo with her as well with Juan and Gatien what lovely humans. We ordered some starters my fav was the corn riblets and from the Jacks menu and it tasted super delicious with such juiciness within cooked perfectly with side of mash and green salad. The server Andrea recommended all the food thanks to her. The whole team is so polite and friendly we had such a great experience we will be back for the food again.

Apparently this place is being flooded with lots of fake 5 start reviews so I was a little unsure of what to expect. I have to say that our experience was amazing. The rump steak was by far the best steak I’ve ever had and the sides were delicious! Particular mention to Tanya and Maria who were incredible thoughtful and attentive. Will definitely be back!
