Loved this place and the food and service was great

A real unexpected gem! We stumbled across ‘TheSultan of Keswick ‘ and were thrilled to have done so. Coming from the Bradford area of the country we have high expectations of our curry and this place did not disappoint. The service was fantastic , lovely friendly staff . The food was delicious, in fact the garlic naan was the best I’ve tasted in ages and all of this was great value for money. It was an all round great experience- highly recommended!

I'm not sure why, but I arrived at a near empty restaurant (6 dinners). I was asked if l had a reservation. I hadn't, and I was told they couldn't accommodate me. I was on my own, and there were empty places set for 50 or so. How do they make money?. Cash only apparently

I must say a massive credit to Josh and his team on a great afternoon and evening. He created a great atmosphere and service with putting on UFC to an appreciative group of people something different to puffball etc. Nice to see many locals and people living in Keswick now returning to a bar I have not been in for years especially living in Keswick. Brilliant night and drinks at a good price. Well done.

Food was nice but unfortunately there were too many diners for the number of staff so service wasn't good. We were kept waiting a few minutes after our main courses had arrived for cutlery; the waiter did nothing to make us feel welcome and visibly dropped his shoulders when we asked for coffees to finish our meal. He returned a couple of minutes later to say we couldn't have one because they had no cups left. That's a first!
