Nuestra primera visita y todos nos quedamos impresionados por la calidad de la comida y el vino y la amabilidad del personal. Esta es una verdadera joya escondida en Putney.

Auténtica cocina italiana con un toque sardo único. La carta de vinos también es excepcional, ofreciendo una gran selección. El ambiente es relajado, y la relación calidad-precio es muy buena. Massimo, el propietario, nos dio una experiencia cálida y acogedora. Sin duda un lugar aprobado por los italianos!

Tuvimos el menú degustación anoche y fue increíble! La comida y el vino artesano de Cerdeña era impecable, el personal super servicial una gran experiencia!

Visitamos a nuestro hijo en Putney y nos sugirió que probáramos Artesanos para el almuerzo. El menú de almuerzo de 2 platos de entrante y pasta o entrante y principal era un muy razonable £ 29 cada uno cuando lo probamos. Nuestro hijo dirige un pub local y había sido recomendado por los comensales anteriores para ir aquí. A la llegada éramos las únicas personas allí pero sí llegamos a las 12 : 30 así que tal vez un poco temprano. Tuvimos que tomar el metro a través de Londres para un espectáculo, por lo tanto la visita temprana. El anfitrión Massimo era muy acogedor. La mayoría de las mesas estaban preparadas para dos personas, pero rápidamente nos sentó a los tres. Trajo agua a la mesa y estaba encantado de hablar con nosotros. Nos dio menús y se retiró a la cocina mientras decidimos. Mi esposa y yo optamos por el jamón de Cerdeña con pera y mermelada de azafrán para empezar, mientras que nuestro hijo eligió el Burrata diario con emulsión de Grappolino y orégano. ambos platos estaban muy bien cocinados y preparados y de lo más agradable. Mi esposa y mi hijo eligieron la pasta Sos Malloreddus con ragu de ciervo con tomates ciruela y hierbas, mientras que yo elegí el filete de venado con tarta de espinacas, jarabe de bayas silvestres y praliné de castañas. El filete estaba tan tierno que el cuchillo podría haber sido un cuchillo de mantequilla. Podría haberlo comido un poco más raro, pero el sabor y la textura era el cielo. Massimo sugirió un vino blanco para mi esposa y un tinto para mí. Nuestro hijo debía volver al trabajo así que optó por no beber alcohol. Los vinos acompañaban perfectamente los platos pero no recuerdo cuáles eran. Seguimos con cafés para terminar el almuerzo, momento en el que ya se había sentado un grupo de seis y venían más comensales. En general, como comensales de bastantes restaurantes Michelin podemos decir con seguridad que la calidad de la comida y el servicio que experimentamos en Artesanos fue sin duda de muy alta calidad de gama. No puedo entender algunos de los comentarios negativos dejados por otros, pero sin duda recomendaría a otros a visitar Artesanos. Tenemos la intención de volver y tener el menú degustación de 4 platos en la noche la próxima vez que visitemos a nuestro hijo. Gracias a Massimo y su personal.

Pequeño restaurante encantador con todo tipo de opciones de menú. . Teníamos el menú degustación de pescado de 4 platos que era muy buena relación calidad-precio y delicioso. Todo recién cocinado por el propietario Chef. Gran carta de vinos y un servicio muy bueno y amable. Nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos y el propietario incluso me dio una botella de vino para marcar el hecho de que estábamos celebrando mi cumpleaños. Definitivamente volveré aquí de nuevo.

This is one of the worst dining experiences in my last 20 years in London. Tonight. Pretentious beyond belief. House wines very very expensive and so average. £50 plus service! As to food, my wife and her friend chose a main pasta dish with crab and asparagus and both those key ingredients were left out by the chef. There are only about 20 covers in the restaurant. It wasn’t until my wife suggested I taste her dish that I called the owner over. These were about £25 each plus service. So the kitchen and those serving had no idea what rubbish they were serving. Bland watery pasta with no key ingredients. This place was recommended to us. We invited two friends. They looked up the menu in advance and thought all looked very expensive. We didn’t do that. The whole thing was so embarassing. I have never written a restaurant review before, but this place reminds me of Dick Turpin. At least he wore a mask. I think I’ll avoid Putney going forward to stop being reminded of this farce. Less than zero stars.

We stumbled across this beautiful restaurant whilst visiting Putney at the weekend, and are so glad we did. We were greeted by the owner Massimo who was very warm and friendly. We had a lovely chat with him and found him to be very passionate about food and very knowledgeable as he has travelled and owned businesses around the world, very interesting to hear. We had the suckling pig which was out of this world. My family are greek and I have only ever experienced this sort of melt in your mouth pork in Greece in the villages, so very tasty. We had a nice chocolate dessert accompanied by a cracking dessert wine. we can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!! Will definitely be back soon😊

Best restaurant in Putney. Absolutely delicious, first class food alongside wonderful service and in a delightful ambience. Perfect spot for a special occasion meal. Highly recommend!

Disappointing. Disappointing. I’m really not satisfied with the dinner I had in this place. The staff is quite nice, the manager should pay more attention to service than to the wives of his guests. Overpriced.

Really lovely little restaurant tucked away in Putney. The food was delicious and service was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

When we visited the resturant, with only two main dishes on the.menue, they did not have the seabass We were told they had a daylie recommadation dish with pasta and seabass ragu! For the first time in my life I had to send it back without esting it! I can not recomend this place!

This is a great little restaurant with an interesting menu and a host of Sardinian wines to discover. The host recommended a bottle to go with our meal and it perfectly complemented our food. There are only a handful of tables but they manage to create a relaxed atmosphere and make each table feel special. We will be back.

Visiting a friend and we popped in her for dinner. Deliciously fresh pasta and the cheese board was so good. Nice wine recommendation with dinner also. It is cosy and intimate - book at weekends but mid week I think would be quiet.

Went for an early dinner with my Mum. Exceptional food - burrata was superb and the tiramisù just divine. Service was just right. Good atmosphere and would definitely recommend it.

Just had a lovely lunch at Artisans of Sardinia. Finally found a fine dining restaurant in Putney which I highly recommend. Food was amazing, service absolutely brilliant. I can’t wait to visit again soon. The tiramisu - best I’ve ever tasted!

Came here with my father and uncle for a celebration. The food was absolutely fantastic, very traditional sardinian food with authentic ingredients. Extremely well cooked and intricate flavours not an anglicised watered down menu a real taste of sardinia. Very nice decor and ambience, Nicola the manager was so friendly and had extensive knowledge of the dishes. Not inexpensive but I felt it was great value for the quality of the food and overall experience. Will be returning, by far the best and most upmarket restaurant in putney.

Despite the fact we live over an hour away by car, this was our choice for my husband’s 50th birthday. We have known the Chef and owner Massimo for many years (from when we lived in Putney before) and having considered all our options we wanted somewhere incredibly special without paying Michelin star prices. We chose sharing cold cuts for the whole table for starters, which came beautifully presented and plated individually. Main courses were delicious across the board; some had fish, I had homemade linguine seafood pasta and two had faultless beef. Massimo made us his own concoction for dessert, a sort of tiramisus, zabaglione, trifle yumminess. We had far too much excellent wine so our bill reflected that, but the wine list caters for all budgets including those significantly bigger than ours!! Thank you to the whole team for making the evening really wonderful.

Fantastic intimate experience in this cosy and classy small restaurant in Putney. The menu is preparing you for a gastronomic experience. The food was incredibly good with some uncommon and delicious pairing. The house wine we had was also fantastic. A final plus is the kindness of the staff and the owner who came not only to check that everything was alright, but also to chat and tell us their stories. Amazing ! We will be back !!

Artisans of Sardinia has quickly become one of my wife and I’s favourite restaurants! From our first visit we have been welcomed like family and have enjoyed trying the different dishes each visit. A highlight was our recent wedding anniversary where we enjoyed the most delightful meal and made to feel very special dining downstairs in what felt like our very own private restaurant! Thank you Massimo and team for giving us this lovely piece of Sardinia here in Putney!

One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had and I've had quite a few around the globe during my travels. We booked a Saturday lunchtime slot for our family of nine to celebrate my eldest son's 50th birthday. Massimo took personal charge of the event and served us his taster menu which avoided us having to agonise over menu choices. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was wonderful and the service first class, absolutely fault-less. Shall we return? Definitely, we have several more family 50th's to celebrate!. Thank you Massimo.

The meal we had was far too expensive for what we received. The portions were tiny, the food was cold and we were made to feel bad for changing our minds about making the bill half cash half card. I unfortunately would not visit this...

Upon arrival the restaurant seemed to have the potential to be a hidden gem. It is nicely decorated with an intimate and warm atmosphere. Te menu is pricey but we didn’t mind paying the hefty price as we were anticipating meals that justified the prices. Unfortunately our food arrived cold and the portions were significantly underwhelming. A prawn pasta dish that costed £26 came with 3 prawns in it. We left hungry and unsatisfied. The floor staff however, were professional and friendly. Unfortunately we won’t be visiting again.

Really small portions we literally left hungry. The place is done up well feel really fresh. The lady on the floor was good and so was the chef . Food was good but hope they had some competitive pricing measuring the portions they offer.

Interiors clean and nice, food just average with really small portions for the price being charged. Not adequate covid 19 measures taken for guest safety, maybe right to say none whatsoever. We will not be going back.

The current owner bought out his former partner and has remodelled the menu and layout. The latter includes a new basement room , and the menu remains based around Sardinian specialities. I had loved the tuna starter and the goat main course was really tasty....

Tastefully decorated, relaxing atmosphere, Staff went the extra mile when they knew of my husband's recent kidney transplant operation which required extra hygiene and cooking requirements. Excellent quality of food, home cooking and nicely presented. Would highly recommend, and will certainly go back for more.
