Arts Bar and Cafe Toynbee Studios in Tower Hamlets

Regresé al Toynbee Studios Cafe esta semana, después de la reapertura. Está lleno de cosas nuevas: nueva decoración, nuevo café llamado Redemption Roasters, solo el nombre me da ganas de más, nuevos jugos frescos y un menú emocionante. Comenzaron con ensaladas y sándwiches por ahora, que disfrutamos con una copa (s) encantadora (s) de vino orgánico Picpoul. No puedo esperar para ver qué vendrá después. Espero sinceramente que recupere la reputación pasada. Recomendaría esta preciosa joya escondida, especialmente una vez que se vuelva a abrir el jardín delantero. . . lejos de la carretera principal. . .

Un lugar agradable y sencillo para café, comida y reuniones. No puedes verlo desde el lado de la carretera, tienes que caminar para encontrar el café. Un poco de trabajo de contracción en el exterior. Parece un lugar de co-office con el café.

Un buen lugar, vino a reunirse en Toynbee Studios y tuvo tiempo de comer en Arts Bar and Cafe de antemano. Comida a un precio razonable. Mi compañero tenía una sopa vegana 4 y yo tenía un plato de Meze a cinco. El personal es agradable, servicio rápido, ocupado pero no es ruidoso. Un buen descubrimiento de Commercial Street, escondido entre las obras. Está en mi mapa ahora.

Came for lunch and had a really nice pasta salad, the venue quirky interesting and clean, my only criticism is that despite them being quiet my plate was cleared away too quickly leaving me feeling unwelcome (so I left), it's a pity I was looking forward to investigating desert

Great wholesome food, friendly and charmingly flirty staff, interesting fellow diners (often actors in rehearsal), a nice courtyard to sit in if the weather is good - what's not to like about this place? And very good value indeed.

I stopped by at this place for lunch today, i was tempted by the british pie week on the blackbaord on the street. this place is very nice inside lots of tables and a limited specials board. I had chicken and leek pie with two salads which were all scrumptious. Really nice salads with very fresh produce. I also would like to say the flat white coffee i had with it was of real quality. the staf are friendly and very nice. A great place to have a relaxed lunch, I almost did not want to tell the world about it in case too many people go there. also has free wifi code on your reciept a bonus

I often have lunch here. It's a very lovely space year round. There is a £5 meal which is all organic, fresh vegetarian food - delicious. Food comes very quickly which is ideal if you're short for time. The staff are lovely. Excellent coffee too.

Been going to this cafe for a while and all though they have had some issues with the food, they have changed the chef, made the menu for simple and the food is good and they always have something to cover most diets.The staff are friendly and the courtyard is bit of a secret area in the city away from the road. Have used them for functions as well as shows in the cafe

Toynbee Hall is a charitable organsiation. Its logo is a fig tree -- and there is indeed a fabulous fig tree in the courtyard. The Arts Bar and Cafe is located in the same physical 'complex' but associated with the theatre. The Arts Bar has adopted the 'distressed' style of wall presentation popular a few decades ago but perfectly pleasant. The beer and wine are OK but big warning: the food is awful. A turkey club sandwich (actually, at first I thought here was a turkey club that one could join ....) included some reprocessed turkey slice kind of thing and leek and potato soup was seemingly stockless. But it's a nice place to sit, especially in the summer, outdoors by the fig tree, a nice secluded milieu amongst the bustle. So (see below) a 'scenic view' in a small compass.
