Christmas lunch was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will go again.

Worst place, having dinner last sat. We had pay the deposit, but the restaurant refused to return to us when we check out!!!! Never go again!!!! Regarding their reply: We pay £100 for deposit to book a table!! I don’t think there is minimum charge!!! We all ate and drink a lot!! Food came super slow and lamb shank was just warm after a long wait!! And I still don’t understand why we can’t get our deposit! Horrible place and person!! You can’t get your deposit back!

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, the staff were all so kind, welcoming and friendly. We were a large party but were dealt with quickly, efficiently, everything arrived correctly as ordered and nothing was too much trouble. A true hidden gem. And will definitely be back. Thankyou.

Beautiful food and amazing service would recommend

A group of friends having a pre Christmas meal together and without exception we all enjoyed our food, from steaks (perfectly cooked to individual liking) to a vegetarian dish with rice and choices in between. A great atmosphere and great service too. Will we be visiting again...... Most definitely!!! Thank you for a great evening.

First visit here for a long time, so long it has changed from Greek to Turkish. We weren’t disappointed. The service, from as soon as you walk in to the moment you leave, is both welcoming and friendly. The staff seem only too glad to see you. My partner and I had the Sultan Kebab, with a side order of chips. The food was delicious, plentiful and well presented. The chips were big, thick proper home made chips, and very tasty. The atmosphere was lovely, as was the decor. We finished our meal, paid our bill, which was very reasonable and went outside to the seating area, resplendent with a fully grown, real grapevine, complete with grapes, covering a good proportion of the seating area. This gave the feel of a real Turkish taverna, and had it been a little bit warmer, would have been our base for a couple more hours. Even whilst sat outside, bill paid, the manager still came out to take time to talk with us. We will definitely be back here again in the near future. Thanks.

Quite disappointed.We ordered a takeaway, cocktail and aubergine dish never showed up.To be fair a phone call was quickly deat with and a few minutes later cocktail and aubergine dish turned up Delivered by the same guy who was very apologetic. Salad, questionable A few badly withered green leaves,didn't bother with them. What we got delivered was ok,it just fell pretty short of what we were expecting.For the money it didn't cut it, so will not be using again

We celebrated my eldest daughter’s birthday at Asma Turkish Restaurant, and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff made us feel very welcome, and they surprised us with a birthday cake and candle, which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend dining here.

The staff were so friendly, and the food was delicious. There were four of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We have been to this restaurant in the past, and had lovely food. Unfortunately, this time I ordered Monk fish and king prawn kebab. But when it came the fish on my plate was NOT monk fish, I pointed this out to the manager straight away. He went into the kitchen and brought out a plate with the piece of fish on it. I had the same fish in my kebab, he told me this is monk fish. I told him that it wasn’t but he continued on telling me it was. At the end of the night he told me he didn’t know what monk fish looked like and he would ask the owner the next day. Now this is where it bugs me. I got charged for the full dish, he didn’t give us any money off or even a drink. If it wasn’t monk fish on my plate I don’t think in my mind I should have paid the full price. I would gladly pay something but not the full price.

Food was not gluten-free as my partner was sick whilst still in the restaurant. She had not eaten for several hours prior to visiting the restaurant. Once contaminated food is eaten, it is about 30 minutes to one hour before the very visible and vivd signs are apparent. Rang to tell the restaurant what had occurred and got a very poor response from the manager saying all was OK with food but clearly I can tell you that is not the case. Been to the restaurant previously and all was OK. Stated prior to ordering that my partner was gluten free, whilst ordering and again when the food arrived, so made all practical and reasonable attempts to have it been known of the coeliac. Coeliac disease is a condition where your immune system attacks your own tissues when you eat gluten. It stops you from taking in nutrients. It makes you sick until your body is free from the contamination. In simple terms, sick until you can not be sick anymore. It's not nice at all. I can tell you. Thank you for spoiling what should have been a nice evening.

I decided to try something totally new today, and while I wasn't a fan of the monkfish in my meal (it was my first time trying monkfish and it's definitely not the kind of fish I enjoy) the food was cooked perfectly, smelled amazing and tasted amazing. absolutely recommend this place.

Ordered food & never even came. Rang the restaurant lied to me saying the driver rang me several times, which they didn't (I had my phone on me for the entire time). Complete theft. Terrible service.

Ordered food and never came, called the restaurant and they said the driver rang me 3+ times. I had my phone on me the entire time, I didn't receive a single call. £50 for nothing, extremely disappointed to hear the restaurant had shut and my food had been taken back to the restaurant. Asking me to pick it up after them failing to deliver and notify me of its arrival.

food wasn't even delivered, called the restaurant and they said I was called twice which I wasn't. absolute rip off. complete theft.

Fantastic Turkish and excellent value. We visited 5pm on a Sunday. We booked, restaurant was about half full. We ordered from the regular menu and it was all fantastic. Kids meals were very cheap but big and tasty. Drinks great and good value. Kids smoothie awesome, posh glass! The waiters are extremely friendly and very efficient. Made the kids feel at home. Lovely cozy decor. Street parking available close by.

Dishes didn’t come with what they said on the order. Chicken was very dry, even the thighs which are usually the most moist. No onions or mushrooms. Bland rice. Bread was lovely though. Overall a shame

We had booked into another restaurant to find that it had closed. I called Asma to see if there was availability. I explained the situation and even tho it was 6 of us and within the hour, they sorted a table and made our experience there amazing. The food was delicious and the staff so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going there again. Thank you all for making what was going to be a disastrous evening into a special night.

I've ordered from this restaurant many times before and have always been happy with the order. Today, part of the order was missing - no chips anywhere even though I paid for them separately. The ratatouille was not good, neither was the chicken kebab and the lamb shank had a little tiny bit of sauce and half an carrot piece whereas it typically comes with lots of carrots, a rich sauce and mashed potatoes... This was a really disappointing order today. And very unlike previous orders.

Went for a meal with friends on Friday, food was spectacular as always and everyone makes you feel so welcome. Love this place and if you want a wonderful night out with amazing food then Asma is the place to go.

From the beginning to when we left, service was exceptional. The food was authentic and tasty. The meats were perfectly cooked and spiced, the salad was fresh, and the rice met the expectations of a Turkish cuisine.

Just had dinner here with my wife and 2 children. Very impressed with everything at this restaurant. Nice menu, very tasty food topped off with amazing service. And for a reasonable price below £60 for for of us. As well as a take home box of leftover bread and dips.

Staff were very attentive and friendly, actually made the effort to make conversation and we actually had a good laugh with them - I promise I'm over 18 😃 Food was excellent, plentiful, fresh and cooked to perfection. The food at ASMA is unbelievable. I highly recommend it, although wear lose clothing, because you're going to consume a lot of beautiful food (they also packed leftovers up for us to take home). My wife and I had a shared starter and a shared main and both were amazing. The prices are very reasonable. The young waiter that served us was really polite and down to earth. The owner was also there and was also really friendly and stopped to talk to us about the food. He also treated us to a sample of Baklava, as I have always wanted to try it but was too full to eat a full one. It was amazing! A friend of mine recommended this restaurant to me and I will be recommending it to all my friends and family. I am currently in a food coma.

roasted aubergine shoulf of been separated from the sauce into the pots instead of chilli and mint yogurt. and i spent over 40 and didnt even get a free drink. lamb needed to be cooked slowly. apart from that best Turkish ive had on wirral so far and ive been trying them all that sell ali nasik.

Not sure why people would rate it over 2 or 3 max. Food average, small portions, service: not really great, rather rude sometimes, taking off the plates with people still eating. Atmosphere : small place, small tables.

The best Turkish food on the Wirral

The food was lukewarm, probably due to the long delivery delay. The estimated time of arrival was 6.40 - 7pm and it arrived at 7.20pm. The chicken lacked any flavour or sauce, it was described on the menu as having mushrooms onion and peppers but had no mushrooms at all, and was incredibly underwhelming. Garlic bread was doughy and not to my taste, and the chicken wings were underseasoned and burnt at the edges. All in all disappointing after had heard such good things. Won't be returning.
