Atom was a great find in Hull. Great beers and the food menu looked really good. Absolutely recommend.

Delicious beer. The food is immense and reasonably priced considering the huge portions. Not the cheapest place to visit. But you can be sure that everything you order well be banging

Taken here by our friends who live in Hull. Wow, what a lovely place. Great beers at not stupid prices, very friendly staff, we never ate but the food looked superb and next time we visit would definitely give the food a go. 10/10

Food is okay but the customer service is shocking !! Went solo and there was only one table with 2 people and the way I was greeted was not existent and their tone/manner was appalling.

This is one of the best bars I've been to. The atmosphere was very good and value for money even better. The flat bread I had that had the braised brisket was amazing. All my family thoroughly enjoyed there's too. Vegan choices are very good. Will definitely be going again. Need to try some more of that menu.

Great staff, great food. A friend in I popped in for dinner. The dog was welcome in as well. I had a brisket burger and loaded fries. My friend had what seemed to be a Sunday roast on a sourdough roll.

We where there to celebrate my brother's 60th birthday there where 18 of us including my 87 yrs young mum. who loved having a blanket to put on when the door was opened , the food was amazing we put our orders in all together & they more or less all came out together. Serving the younger children first was brilliant as we all know they don't like to wait . The food was well presented & hot when it arrived at our table , this was our second visit & won't be our last . Thank you so much .

The food was the incredible! Heaps of vegetarian and vegan options that were so so incredibly delicious. Each burger comes with a side of chips and onion rings. A big variety of sauces. Bigger variety of drinks. They had zero alcohol options as well. Definitely coming back here to try the whole menu!

The Atom Bar is in an Old Bank. The building is very impressive. The beers are unlike those you will find elsewhere as most of the beers on offer are brewed by atom Brewery in hull. There is a wide choice from lagers, IPA, bitters, and stout. The beers are not dispensed by hand pumps (it may be the nitro keg system). They are very good quality beers but expensive. They also sell some nice food. There is outside seating.

This is one of those places I wish I could give 6 stars too. Great staff, warm and welcoming. Excellent craft beer selection. Incredible food. I cannot fault this place.

A fantastic small bar experience. The atmosphere was the exact level of chill we were expecting and the food was possibly the best bar food I've ever had.

Went for a Sunday lunch it was absolutely amazing. I had the beef which was very tasty. But the pattie was out of this world. I had 2 sides cauli cheese and green beans both well above average. It all came inside two Yorkshire puds. Very nice experience and amazing food

Having been to Atom Bar before when it was located on Lowgate in Hull’s town centre, we knew the beer would be good but now they have moved to Princes Ave they serve food and WOW is it good. We have been BIG fans of Patty Shack ever since they appeared at the Hull Street Food Nights and discovering they provide the food at the Atom Bar was a joy to behold. Along with the their usual brilliant range of Patty Butties (the Black Pudding & Bacon one is superb), they do a Sunday Dinner Pattie that has to seen & tasted to be believed. It consists of two Yorkshire puddings, brisket (or a choice of chicken, pork, ham), a carrot and potato Pattie, and of course lashings of gravy. The kids meals are also really, really good. Chicken selects, chips & beans for only £5. Atom has always been a great bar to visit but when you add in Pattie Shack you have an amazing combination. Very highly recommended and a must visit on a Sunday.

Amazing food at a great price (£10-£14 per dish) also with daily specials as well as theor stabdard menu. 12 craft beers on tap all high quality and fresh as well as lots of options in cans and bottles. Friends day helpful staff, interesting and busy venue

This pub is very peculiar because it’s its own brewery the beer options are much different to the usual however they not bad. The place looks lovely and the staff were very welcoming. Would come back here as I did end up finding a drink I liked haha. Do suggest.

Great spot and location for those looking to enjoy a HOPPY pint of Hulls finest brewed IPA or to enjoy some hefty portions of grub for a very reasonable price. Service has always been tip top, the guy behind the bar even made a joke when i asked to try 6 different brews “we’re not an ice cream shop’” hehe i appreciate the sarcasm and banter from staff like this as it ads some personality and a friendly vibe to the place. I visit Atom every week and you should should too. Korean Chicken Salad and a Schooner of Walking on the Moon is my order of choice. If you’re passing through, this should be your go too!

I ate here with my boyfriend and parents recently. The food was exceptional, a solid 10/10 rating. However, the customer service left much to be desired. The staff appeared disinterested and not particularly accommodating. When ordering drinks at the bar, neither my dad nor I were familiar with their drink selection, we were mainly there for the food. The gent who served us, potentially the owner or manager, came across as if annoyed by our questions and at some points it bordered on being rude, especially when speaking to my dad, which really annoyed me. The same guy brought our meals to the table after we had watched him sat outside smoking a rolly a few mins earlier. Unfortunately, again, he seemed agitated as he set the plates down. He did ask me if we needed anything as he set the first 2 plates (out of 5) down, I asked if we could have some mayo, to which he returned with one tiny cup of, which was a bit surprising considering we were a party of four and had spent around £80 on both food and drinks. As he brought out the last 2 plates, I asked him if we could have some more mayo, being polite, saying please. That really annoyed him, I could see by his face, he responded saying "well, is their out else I can get you with this, to save my feet". Usually when you give, especially a new bar, your custom, they want to make sure its a pleasant experience. Not like you're a chore. While I understand this might not be the crime of the century, it left a pretty poor impression. I'd like to think he was having an off day. Although, It was slightly frustrating to see and hear how he interacted with his own family who where seated on the bench behind us, compared to the way he spoke to us. I have visited before, during the prinny av street party and the staff wasn't very warm or welcoming then, but i gave the benefit of the doubt and assumed they where just tired after a really busy day. I really hope this was a one off, other reviews seem really happy with the service, the food was great but the service just left a bad taste in my mouth. I'd probably be lest agitated about it if it wasn't to my parents.

The food is good but some meals come inside cardboard boxes whilst others come on top of plates, if you like that kind of thing.The beers and that are nice. The staff are great but one guy, I think his name is Brendan, he has no hair and a dad beard, kept saying 'peas' instead of 'please' which really put me off him and he has this certain glint in his eye which suggests to me that if he had the opportunity and definitely knew that he wouldn't get caught he'd take more than he should when passing Go but maybe that's just my melancholy seeping out onto the page after my woeful performance in last night's family games night. Who knows?

Choice of beers and service really good. Ordered two burgers with the sweet potato fries. Could have eaten a bucket load of the fries. Not keen on the burgers though. Too much moisture so the bun was soggy. Also trying too hard to have original combinations of flavours and they didn't really work.

As a visitor to Hull, this was my first visit to the new site after the move from near to the Corn Exchange and frankly I was disappointed. All keg beers, no hand-pulled and all chilled too much for me. We had a pint each and left, I doubt I’ll return. (That said, they said the new location is working better than the old one, so what do I know!)

Such a fantastic place. Sunday lunch Hull patties are absolutely delicious - as is everything else I'd tried from the menu. The beers are amazing and ever-changing, so you can always try something new - or go for old faves. The staff are always really helpful and friendly. It is a welcoming environment for families or people with dogs. Can't recommend highly enough.

Yesterday was our first visit to Atom. We chose the location because it is a dog friendly establishment. The coffee was delicious and the hand cut chips were so moorish. The staff were relaxed and friendly. We will definitely return the next time we are in hu5.

Now on Princes Avenue. Great choice of beers, great food plus excellent coffee.

Beautiful interior lovely food customer service is amazing all staff are kind and have smiles on their faces staff are approachable and kind , customer service is quick honestly a gorgeous place really enjoyed myself and the music is up to date.

To begin with, I visited the old location next to the Corn Exchange and quite liked it so was looking forward to my visit at this new location. Walking in on a Sunday afternoon, the place resembled a cross between a crèche and a coffee shop. Table reservations everywhere and lots of people drinking coffee. There's no pub atmosphere whatsoever - I honestly thought I was walking into a private function. If that's the clientele they want to aim for then fair enough, but unfortunately it's not what I consider a brewery pub anymore and it's not for us - the beer is just a side show. A shame really as I would have stayed for more beers and some food, but just had the one and went elsewhere. An honest disappointment.

I have ordered a blue cheese and bacon burger. The burger was dry, burnt, you couldn't taste the cheese, no seasoning....bad really bad. Left more than half of it, and the girl that took the plate out didn't even bother to ask why haven't I eaten the whole thing. Waitresses spent most of their time on their phone behind the bar, and don't really care about costumer service. FYI good costumer service is not about pulling a pint...a monkey could do that. Awfull experience.waste of money

What a lovely little bar, with some amazing food on offer. My wife had a Xmas pattie butty and I had the brisket burger. Both meals were filling, could maybe call it a large snack or a small meal, both very nice nonetheless and great value for money. Also had a pint of catalyst a very nice IPA and bought some other cans while there. Good atmosphere, reasonable prices, good drinks and great food, will go back again.

Not local but took the opportunity to visit & taste all that is brewed by these quality brewers. Fantastic bar with a superb selection of craft ales, sours, stouts & a special one off barley wine 😋. Great bar staff (cheers particularly to Joe), loved the food, superb 👍

Wasn't sure how this bar would take the move out of the City Centre, but it's kept the things that made it a great spot - a wide variety of beers and the Pattie Shack. There's no pretences here, beers are all great and it's nice to taste through the more oddball selections as halves. Food is simple (it's a patty!) but they riff on it well and it's very good value. Staff are very friendly and seem happy to be working there. The atmosphere works and it's family-friendly also

Really nicely done out with a lovely atmosphere. Loads of beers to choose from if you're drinking and delicious food on offer (lots of vegan options). I've tried the pattie butties and flatbreads and not been disappointed. Friends' burgers have looked lovely, but there's no vegan burger - only vegetarian (which is why I had the vegan chicken flatbread one time - gorgeous!). The venue needs to stop people using the corner door, though as any heat disappears as soon as anyone uses it. Luckily there is a sheltered side door that can be used once the venue decides to lock the corner one.
