Baba Lal Karahi Ltd in Luton

I took Kaleem and Bindi bhaji with Nan. People are very good and nice and friendly order to call most like more than half an hour for takeaway. Even I made out around like 2 o’clock I guess but when I had that Halim after that my stomach got upset. Even after the night next day as well I will keep going to the toilet and Haleem wasn’t taste like Haleem so I don’t know why people don’t make quality food even though portion was £10 and like Bendy bhaji as well no taste in the food at all and made my stomach upset as well.

We ordered tandoori chicken and chicken biryani, Biryani was okok and Tandoori was so awful couldn’t expect it to be this worse, packing is not upto to the expectations, like to suggest to take improvements in this areas most asians look into briyani and tandoori items especially chicken should be skinless and mixed with lot of herbs n spices tandoori just look like it boiled and served straight into plate with some fancy colours and it smells really awful and thrs no tandoori flavour at all it doesn’t deserve the name tandoori for its looks n taste, not worth for money.

They are very careless on takeaway delivery. They don’t take orders seriously. This is the second time I ordered over the phone for takeaway & picked up from them. I ordered “Baba Lal Achari Special spicy meat Biryani” over the phone and when I went to pick the biryani they gave me just normal meat biryani. Even when I went to pick the biryani I asked the person who was handing me the biryani that was it special Achari biryani? He replied, “yes, it is”. Then I came home and started eating then found it was normal meat biryani. I called them to confirm and they were just joking over the phone by telling that, “biryani mein achar dhundo miljayegi”. They were not even serious about the matter. Their customer services are worst for takeaway. Please be aware of their takeaway service.

Went for dinner with friend. Ordered chicken pakora, meat karahi and roti. The pakora was the smallest I have ever seen in my life ,no taste and burnt. Meat karahi full with oil and very small portion. Roti was dry and taste like toast biscuits. They have increased their price but quality gone down. The most disappointing was service. The staff need to learn how to talk to customers!!

Desi food and chappli kabab is awesome and they make the best fresh naan. I really love their food. They can renovate the dinner area to improve customers approach.

Very worst taste better to call chilli powder biryani it's not chicken biryani. It Doesn't have any flavors other than the chilli powder.

I’ve been eating at this shop for a while and I’d say it’s pretty decent. There’s been only some small problems as I eat there such as small portions of sauce and chips and sometimes the food is a bit dry. They’ve got a good location which is why I normally eat there but the food needs a needed upgrade

Absolute one of the best indo pak takeaways in luton, they have a wife variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes, I would recommend their meat gosht curry along with their chicken tikka jalfrezi. Their design tea is among the best I've ever had and it sticks well after a cold long motorbike ride. I would advise them to increase their seating area as sometimes if you want to eat in there isn't any space, the other thing they need to improve is the delivery speed, I waited 1hr 30 mins for my food to arrive but other than that a fantastic eatery!

I had some food quality issues in my food which i found 2 plastic pieces and called them guess what the guy on phone said ," remove the plastic thing and eat the food , it's totally clean plastic " i was like are you serious and he be like yes .

Had a late night craving for meat curry so found baba lal. They do a wide variety of Asian foods plus fried chicken, kebabs and pizza. Food quality is good. But order in advance as they seem quite busy with a lot of footfall customers. I ordered a medium spicy meat curry (large portion) with spicy tarka dhal and rice. Delicious. Hit the spot! This is a casual eating spot. Limited seats if you want to eat in. It’s literally your bare essential type of eating in place for a casual quick munch meet up with mates. It’s more geared for takeouts. But I believe if you eat In you will get the best taste experience. So far I have taken out. They also do a traditional desi breakfast options which I’ve had before - and it’s decent for the price.

chicken biryani taste was really bad because it was mixed with sweet rice and barely chicken inside. Not tasty at all Poor taste. Not recommendable.

I visit last week with my family at baba lal karahi bury park. Food was awesome and delicious. I tried pizza, curries and biryani all are good. Prices of all the items are too low as compared to other restaurants in luton. Highly recommended for all.

I came In the shop and the shop keeper was so rude and we the food came it toke them 30 mins for 2 10inch pizza when we got our food was so oily and wallahi my brothers and sisters I found a hair in my pizza the. He tried say I put it when it was clearly melted with the cheese the. He offended me 5 pounds when it’s was 10 pounds and the place in the inside is so dirty.🤮🤮

Ordered Roghni Naan. The delivered food had disappointing quality. The naan seemed burnt, lacking the characteristic appearance and taste of Roghni Naan. Instead, it resembled a plain naan with some sesame seeds on top, which was far from the expected flavor profile.Disappointing.

This restaurant is my favourite place, nice food, great service, I feel home.

Never had to leave a review like this. Manager on the phones doesn't know what he's doing. Lied several times and hung up twice when he realised he was exposed. Rang back and his team said he's walked out and they can no longer help, only apologise. Not first time service has been this poor.

If you want a quick bite and reasonable price then this is the place. They have variety options and the owners are amazing and humble people. Always have a smile.

The worst food you can find in Luton. Last night we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Roti and rice with chicken curry which was total waste of money. The tikka masala was too sweet and tastes like tomato curry. Please don't call this Indian food.

Delivery arrived very, very late. For 3 dishes I ordered the salad extra option. No salad was included at all. All 3 salads were missing.

I purchased two vegetable samosas and a meat biryani. The samosas were fried in old oil and were greasy. The meat biryani was far from what I expected. It was essentially boiled rice with colouring, very little meat, and more bones. Overall, the food was disappointing. Avoid!!!

Ordered Via Just eat (copy of review on just eat) Can't comment on food as never received it (left 1star as no option for not receieved) and will never try this place again! Never received order, restaurant told just eat it had been delivered, been in all evening house cctv shows no delivery attempted. Contacted just eat for refund. Wasted a night and had to order elsewhere alot later than wanted. Don't know if its a dodgy restaurant or Dodgy delivery driver. Either way my first and last attempt with "The baba lal" disappointed!

It's a bit cramped inside not a lot of room to move about does take a long time for your order when it's busy last but not least hygiene wise it can be better. Not alot of parking available

I ordered donner and naan but they gave me donner and chips. On the top, the portion so so less than other restaurants. Moreover, the spicy donner was so dry and burned which was literally worst. As I worked on a donner restaurant before so i know which donner is fresh or not. So disappointed. I will not recommend anyone to have their foods.

Desi breakfast on the weekend is from Baba Lal Karahi in Bury Park Luton. Nice clean seating area. We ordered the traditional Halwa Puri and Chana breakfast. Aloo parata was delicious. Washed down with some sweet milky tea. Service was slow due to making everything fresh. Overall food was good.

The curries taste suberb. but deserve 2 stars because the lamb curry is always full of the worst cuts of meat. Just bones and fat. Twice I was served this which makes me feel, they buy the worst red meat. The chicken is fantastic and delivery fast. if they stopped selling bad lamb curries and their constant ignoring of instructions sent about this, they could be a 5 star establishment. ......................................... Instead they get to be a paltry 2 star one.

Order £40+ worth of food and they only gave two chilli and one Mayo tub. Food was cold and soggy . Delivery took 1hr 45 minutes.
