¡Me encanta este lugar! Un entorno tan agradable , tan servicial e incluso si está lleno no está esperando mucho . Comida muy buena y un montón para elegir. Amor que puede acoger a sus perros y es encantador verlos a todos hacer nuevos amigos. Lugar muy fresco , recomendaría x

We live locally and go to the Badger & Bean a couple of times a month. The majority of the staff are very professional and polite with excellent customer service skills and are very friendly, especially Sally. The food is always good and it's always busy. Unfortunately, on three or four occasions an older waitress has been rude and unapproachable when we tried to ask a couple of questions and we were ignored and told to sit down and someone would be over. We asked another member of staff and she smiled and answered our questions with no hesitation and whilst we were still at the counter. ( we fully appreciate that we all have bad days). On another occasion by the same lady we were just told to wait, even though we had reserved a table for lunch. My elderly mother in law (80)has dementia and she was not empathic or friendly with us at all. It would be much appreciated if this lady could perhaps treat the customers with the same care,kindness and friendly approach as the rest of your staff. Kindness and a smile cost nothing and can make a world of difference to a person's day but also ensures returning, happy customers.

En la ubicación más céntrica de Howden se encuentra este café. A la hora del almuerzo, es posible que tenga suerte de encontrar un lugar. Un poco de espera puede valer la pena, porque las sillas son cómodas, el servicio fantástico y la comida es genial. Tomamos sopa, pastel de cerdo y una enorme patata con atún.

Las mejores botas de tocino y tetera del Reino Unido. Siempre llame aquí a la vuelta de Suiza después de desembarcar en Hull. El personal muy alegre y servicial, te hacen sentir como en casa en la acogedora cafetería. Siempre esperamos nuestra visita.

Pequeño café/restaurante encantador en el centro de Howden viejo. Vino para el almuerzo - un par de paninis de queso con tocino y tomate. Solo dale al punto😋😊 El personal era excelente. Amistoso, servicial y acogedor. Sin duda recomiendo.

Animado café, cálida bienvenida amable, tuvimos el mini desayuno con pudín negro era perfecto. Sin duda volveremos a visitar.

Muy buena comida y personal amable. Vinimos aquí para el almuerzo y estábamos muy contentos con la calidad de la comida y buen ambiente. Sin duda recomendaría 👌

Stayed in a cottage in Saltmarshe Fri- Tues. Found this lovely cafe by chance as we were wandering around Howden on Sat and decided to stop by for lunch. Had the lovely window seat and enjoyed a delicious lunch with lovely, friendly service. No one was phased by our overly friendly cockapoo and he loved the homemade cookie when we stopped by for a drink that evening whilst waiting for our Indian takeaway. We said we might have to stop by for breakfast the next morning and were recommended to book in advance which we did and we weren’t disappointed. I had the pancake stack with Nutella and strawberries and it was so delicious and so filling! My husband had the breakfast bagel and was equally pleased. Obviously we had to stop by again for breakfast on Tues before heading home - a great way to start our day. Thank you once again for helping to make our few days away really lovely. We’ll definitely stop by in future if we come to Howden again 🤗

If you like dry cake, weak tea and sharing these with a dozen flies then this is the place for you ! Unfortunately despite the nice service this ain’t for me thank you !!!

We have been a couple of times for our breakfast. Food is very nice, fresh and nicely presented, not greasy. Coffee is very nice too, with a little biscuit on the side. Would recommend a visit.

What a diamond find!! Not visited Howden before, and was looking for a halfway point to meet a friend for a bite to eat. Couldn't have found a lovelier cafe! Rang and booked ahead as it was Bank Holiday and the girl who answered was friendly helpful and accommodating. from setting foot in side, we were met with helpful, friendly staff and the cafe itself has a lovely warm feel to it, nothing is too much to ask of this lovely cafe. The staff obviously care about their customers and giving them great service. I also noticed they happily accommodate customers with dogs too. The menu has plenty of variety, and there is also a great selection of homemade cakes and brownies. Couldn't fault the food or service. Sarah, the lady who runs badger and bean I commend you.... you have created something that cannot be bought, a welcoming 'feeling' in a relaxed, comfortable, busling cafe! Would recommend to anyone and will be returning soon

What a lovely, friendly place! Love that dogs are welcomed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was spot on, beautiful poached eggs. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Panini with cheese sundried tomato & pesto also fresh soup & a roll, lovely cup of tea, this cafe has improved drastically under the new owner.

Lovely tea room,very friendly,our dog max loved his home made peanut butter cookie,we will definitely be back,the food looked amazing,we had tea cakes ,but will definitely have lunch next time .
