Bake 'N' Butty Cafe in Suffolk Coastal

Excellent breakfast with toast. Also had coffee with cake. Bright and very clean cafe. Will come back. Staff are friendly

Had we not have walked from holiday let in Knodishall to this place, we would probably have turned around and gone elsewhere when we saw it! But, were pleasantly surprised by the bright, clean interior. We had to sit outside with our dog (unusual these days), but that was fine. The food was very good quality cooked perfectly, not cheap at £19 for 2 Lg full English & drink each, but then don’t mind for good food; we didn’t feel hungry again until 7pm that day!

Had decided to go to Sizewell for a breakfast treat but got there and it was packed out with a queue of at least 10 people waiting to order so we ventured into Leiston and saw the sign for Bake ‘n’ Butty on the side of the road. It is on an industrial estate but don’t let that put you off. Inside it is bright, spacious and very nicely decorated. The food is just great ‘home cooked’ food and great value for money. We will definitely be going back.

Great menu, easy ordering over the phone. Had sausage, bacon and egg in ciabatta and veg sausage and egg in ciabatta, along with lattes, homemade carrot cake (huge piece) and tunnocks teacake. Extremely good portions, very tasty and excellent value, all coming in at around £14. We ate at Sizewell beach as a lovely warm, sunny day...needless to say left the cake till later. Service was really friendly. Only slight point is coffee is quite weak and not to our taste, so will probably have tea on future visits which we will definitely make!

Having not been leiston before, found it very difficult to find hot hot cooked as most of the shops were shut due to covid. A few the the locals suggested this place , and glad they did . The food is of a good standard, always pre warn us if there's a wait, as most of the time we ring up an order. The staff are really polite and friendly. Shame they wasn't based in Colchester

Had a fantastic breakfast in this clean,biker friendly cafe with a great menu,fantastic staff and great value i will use this regularly

This was the best ever Bacon roll, I have ever had I would highly recommend coming here, And will definitely stop by again.

Cafe is clean, food is good and hot, good sized portions, A bit akward to find first time round, but good parking and friendly staff.

Excellent food. Great home cooked cakes! Lovely staff. And its just accross the road from work. Perfect for us.

well worth coming to this café. good staff good food good price. visited many times always good clean and staff very friendly. if you are in southwold or aldeburgh make the journey to this café.

Lovely grub served by lovely staff, get in early too avoid the rush!. Good food at a great price, And a nice cuppa too boot.

Never been an early bird so have missed the opportunity for many a cooked breakfast (sad face) Was so happy to discover B 'n B - home of the all day cooked breakfast amongst other tasty lunches. Service is friendly, fast, with options for the vegetarian (happy face) and the wheat/gluten intolerant. Love this place

Always need a bacon roll when you’re working on site. Nice bacon rolls well presented can’t be them when in Leiston. Will definitely visit again.

Came here as the beach cafe was closed...what a find, good parking, clean, lovely staff, fantastic food good ingredients...very reason price. It's on a small commercial estate...and a great eating cafe. Will be back

Called in for brunch. Food was good with quick service. The cafe was very clean, prices are really good and they understand dietary needs. Good portion sizes and a nice mug of decaf tea. Would visit again.

Good range of breakfasts, lunch's, snacks and cakes on offer at a great price. food is always hot, tables are clean and tidy.

Popped in yesterday for brunch with hubby and ordered 2 non sausage vegetarian breakfasts and a pot of tea for two. Best poached eggs I've ever had! Very tasty indeed. Waitress was very helpful and polite. Very reasonably priced, clean and tidy everywhere.

Thank you once more for a wonderful breakfast, family over from Ireland. My brother in law ate the tradesmens breakfast and not a bean was left on his Plate. If you have never been and want to give this place a try. Do . Service friendly and a joy to visit.

Great freshly cooked breakfast to order. Plenty of choice and cooked how you like it. Quality ketchup and sauces Plenty of room and parking. Eat in or takeaway

Had a lovely breakfast. Nice big portion sizes and for really good price! We come here regularly now. The only down fall is the tea, I think the amount of milk you put in should be optional (maybe in a small jug) as the lady always makes the tea very dark with not much milk at all, although I did ask her for a drop more milk and it was no trouble at all.

Had a brunch here. Large portions of well cooked food, not expensive and served with a smile. Well worth a visit if you want basic well cooked food.

Wow after a short wait we had awesome, sandwiches and the tea was amazing. A great place to take children as they can choose what they would like to eat. Lovely table cloth to keep the smaller ones entertained. If you are in a hurry they do take out too. I returned in August this year and still constant service and food.

Not always easy finding somewhere nice for Breakfast, especially when all the places you thought you knew, shut as soon as the kids have gone back to school!

Esta es una cafetería impecable. La señora detrás del mostrador era muy amable. Y me pidió disculpas porque puede ser un poco más, ya que estaban en la cocina, pero no fue un problema. Nos dimos cuenta de que podíamos. anillo adelante si tienes prisa.

We popped in on our way out, having heard good things and we weren't disappointed! The breakfast was huge and all very nicely cooked. The coffee was delicious and the service was fab, will definitely return!

En un par de veces, algunas de las comidas son caros, pero los desayunos son un valor fabuloso para dinero. Hay una gran variedad para elegir y un amplio menú de niños incluyendo desayunos mini también! Mis hijos me encanta el hecho granos vienen separadas en un plato pequeño, y mi marido piensa que tienen las mejores salchichas alrededor.

Says it all in the title! Only negatives....mushroom portion size with the breakfast was SOOOOO small we laughed!! And didnt appear to be a kids breakfast option

Paramos para tomar una taza de té, taza y s sandwichera impresionante de té a mi marido le gusta su oscura y me gusta más leche vinieron como ordenados. Limpio, el mejor lugar para un almuerzo ligero y una taza de té. Los niños. Tenía un almuerzo aquí un par de veces antes de grandes porciones de comida y el personal muy amable. Intenta que no se arrepentirá.

Have bn to Bake n Butty a couple of times now. Both times brekkie has bn awesome, large portions, friendly service, reasonable prices.

I had the lesser of the big breakfasts and it was huge...superb food at a canny price....will go again without any hesitation. Try it you won't be disappointed. Very clean place too!

Este maravilloso lugar está escondido en una zona industrial. Me dieron el "desayuno fin" por 6.50 libras. Se sirve con dos rebanadas de pan y una taza de té estaba delicioso. Tenía calidad escrito todo y las salchichas eran fantásticos. Estaba impecable, una decoración preciosa y muy amable con los más limpios baños en el que he estado en un café. Uno de nosotros tenía la sopa, que era claramente casera y muy recomendable. Es un lugar genial!

Called in for a cuppa and ended up having agood sized breakfast as well. Highly recommended and good service with pleasant staff.

El menú tiene una gran variedad de buena comida. El desayuno está muy bien presentado y una abundante, los bocadillos son para ser disfrutado el jamón es generoso y el queso derretido plenamente, el café es bueno. Un lugar estupendo para reunirse y pasar el tiempo el lugar es luminoso y alegre.

Paré aquí para un desayuno caliente tras algunas árboles, estábamos ravenous y las opciones en el desayuno aquí eran geniales, dos mega desayuno y corriente para mí. sabrosa comida encantadora, abundante, cocinados y presentados con mucho gusto. No en todos los ingredientes locales frescos y grasientos que pretendía. Servicio amable y encantador en un luminoso, limpio y espacioso ambiente.

Mientras trabajaba en la cercana estación de poder me encontré con esta cafetería está escondido en una zona industrial. Dos de nosotros desayunamos allí y nos quedamos tan impresionados con la calidad de la comida, la relación calidad-precio y el servicio amable nos volvimos para el almuerzo.
