Bamboo Thai Ltd in Wirral

We ordered a sharing platter takeaway this evening and a noodle dish to share, as we usually do with other takeaways. Not only did it take over an hour to arrive but it was luke warm and tiny in portion size. It wasn't particularly tasty either. Never again.

New restaurant for us and it was lovely. Friendly staff and excellent authentic food. Singha beer on tap. We had 2 courses and everything was delicious. Definitely going again soon!

After ordering a couple of times for a takeaway (always delicious) we thought we would finally dine in! Amazing service, made to feel so welcome from the second we walked in. Food was quick to come out of the kitchen, hot and such big portions! The food was delicious. They were incredibly helpful with our dietary requirements, thank you for making our rare weekend night out so special!

We have had take away from here before a few times and was always really nice so we decided to dine in as within walking distance for us. We had a couple of lovely starters, prawn toast and duck spring rolls. The prawn toast is not your typical triangle variety but a lovely oval shape sliced baguette style with black and white sesame seeds which was very tasty. Our main was prawn penang curry. This was truly amazing! I've eaten more penang curry's around the world than you can shake a stick at and I know a good one when I eat one. A perfect balance of heat, flavour and taste with delicious prawns cooked perfectly and tasty vegetables which were not an afterthought but accompanied the dish the way it should. Hats off to the chef! The service was truly wonderful. Friendly, polite and genuine. We can't wait to go back!

I ordered a take out, tofu with homemade chili sauce and tofu Thai red curry. Both dishes were good, flavouring spot on. So why the 3 stars? The portions were so small, not worth what I paid. Unfortunately I won’t be re ordering.

We ordered a takeaway from bamboo Thai, although the delivery was almost 15 minutes late, we did half expect it as it was Mother’s Day. The driver apologised of his own accord at the door which was nice. The prawn pad Thai was lovely and the chicken cashew stir fry with jasmine rice was delicious. Quite expensive for what you get but tastes great. Will order again one day, but need to try sitting in too. thank you!

Ordered a takeaway for the first time tonight; food arrived hot and all our dishes were gorgeous, really fresh and had lots of flavour. Having travelled all over Thailand, I can say this food is up there with the amazing food we had while there - we will definitely be regular customers!

A little gem of a restaurant. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food is consistently high standard and Sunday buffet is amazing. Looking forward many more lovely meals out here

First visit but certainly not our last. The food was outstanding, cooked fresh, very tasty. We had booked but hadn't realised it was a Sunday buffet, but wasn't disappointed at all, loads to choose from on the menu and the service was really good. Couldn't fault anything about it. First time visit certainly won’t be the last service spot on Nyah was very helpful with choices how spicy etc good selection of drinks food was spot on on a par with some we’ve had in Thailand and a discrenciancy 5% service charge won’t get that anywhere

I'm biased, I'll fess up that I know the owners. That said, I'd tell them if it was rubbish. It's not. Nowhere near. And there is healthy competition in Moreton these days too. The food here is exceptional, fresh and aromatic, big portions, really tasty. Those homemade sui mai and spring rolls are heavenly. The décor is also just right, it's open plan dining but can still feel intimate. The staff are fast and friendly and Bamboo Thai also delivers to your door. The challenge for me is not to eat here every night!

Best Thai food I’ve eaten in a long time. The food is so fresh and flavoursome. However not only is the food good the lady who served us was exceptional and made the evening a great experience. I would highly recommend to try this restaurant.

I went to pick up my order at 20:45 on 27/04/23 I Ordered the chicken satay for my starter Then pad Thai with chicken. The noodles were all clumped together the chicken on both my starter and main was like rubber it was definitely frozen not fresh, I got no peanuts no limes Both dishes were bland no flavours at all, very greasy I have been all over the world pad Thai is one of my favourite dishes but what I got tonight was disgusting and made me sick Would never go back to Bamboo Thai Everyone Avoid with caution. Was not worth it at all.

We visited here for my birthday and what a treat it is. The food was perfect and we ate everything that was served to us by a lovely friendly waitress. We eat Thai a lot and I would like to visit here more often but it is just that little bit more pricy than others in the area. We will most definitely be back, but we will save this one for occasions. Highly recommend the ribs....roll on our next visit.

I booked a table for 3 of us, surprised to see this place empty when we arrived, as they had been open over an hour. They seem to do takeaways as well, but only 1 person turned up to collect one while we were here. Nobody else came in to dine before we left. Parking is very difficult in this area, best to get a taxi. We were greeted and seated right away. Our service throughout the dining experience was brilliant, lovely friendly and helpful waitress. The seating is comfortable (quite high, my legs were dangling, and I’m 5’3” tall lol), and the place looks clean, unfortunately, it was rather off putting having sticky tacky wonky tables, it was as if they had wet varnish on them. Our table was curved, we had to very carefully place drinks glasses so they didn’t topple over. It was nice being able to see into the kitchen. We ordered Tom Yum Soup and Chicken Satay starters, the Tom Yum had great flavour, unfortunately the chicken in it was dry. The satay sauce with the satay chicken was excellent, unfortunately chicken a bit dry with this too (although not as bad as the chicken in the soup). Pity there was no Thai dip or cucumber with the satay, just cabbage and carrots. We had black pepper chicken, chicken pad Thai, prawns with cashew nuts, Thai basil chilli chicken and an egg fried rice between us for mains. The portion size is very good, we ended up taking some home. The prawns with cashew was nice, sauce a little lacking in flavour though. First we were presented with a chicken dish by mistake, I mentioned the error to the waitress, she took it back to the kitchen and brought the correct prawn dish out in good time. There was a bit too much egg in the pad Thai, all the chicken dishes we had for mains had good flavour. Unfortunately, once again, the chicken in all the dishes was all rather dry. The prices here are very high, nearly £100 for 2 starters, 3 mains and 2 side dishes, plus 6 drinks. The toilets are up a long flight of stairs, so not suitable for anyone with a disability, or parents with small children, pity. All in all we had quite a nice time here, if we return we won’t be eating any chicken dishes though. It’s definitely a special occasions place, as the prices are a lot higher than most Thai restaurants we have visited (and we eat Thai food quite often).
