Band of Burgers in Camden

It's been a year since we wanted to discover this highly recommended place. ....which left us really mixed. First of all, the hamburgers are delicious...Perfect...besides that we had the extreme in terms of service this Friday, January 3 in the afternoon. The restaurant was empty, so the young lady was not overwhelmed. His welcome was neither smiling nor warm. And when we tell her that it's cold and if she can turn on the air conditioning, she tells me no and that it's because the front door of the restaurant is open......And at no time does she say it. shut up 🤨. SO I'm willing to pay *charges* of 8 pounds more on the bill...but have the service that goes WITH IT!!!! j

Known as Beast Burgers on Uber Eats. I must say I was very upset at the BOGOF Burger I purchased on Saturday evening. I had the fried chicken burger. The portion of chicken you got in the 2 burgers was the same amount they would normally use for one burger. A little bit dishonest to be fair. The filling in the burger was pathetic. Even the coleslaw in each burger was so small.

Very nice customer service, with the food making you wanting more. It's a bit above the price id pay in Germany but certainly worth it.

The burgers were really good and were served quickly and with a good options of sides. They took a while to clear the table after we ate as we stayed for a while. But overall a good experience it was a good place for us to meet friends with kids and hang out for a while.

I recently visited Band of Burgers in Camden and had the pleasure of trying their Elvis Burger along with a side of fries. Simply put, the food was fantastic! The Elvis Burger was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with its toppings. Every bite was a delight. The fries were equally impressive—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned just right. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was spot on. The vibe at the restaurant was laid-back yet vibrant, making it a great spot for a casual meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall experience. If you're in Camden and craving a top-notch burger, I highly recommend Band of Burgers. The Elvis Burger and fries are a must-try!

Very good burger and nice decor. I find it scandalous to charge a service fee and then sneak it into the receipt. Why exactly is it a service fee? Because the waiter brought us two plates of burgers from the kitchen? Frankly, I advise you to eliminate these fees. For my part, I will never set foot in your home again as long as you charge illegitimate service fees.

Very good burger and great decor

So, I was looking for a quick bite to eat before a gig over the road at KOKO. Found this little place, on arrival it looked great from outside and in. I stood at the front of the restaurant and waited for a while, even though there was a lady cleaning a table infront of me and the place had lots of spare seats. I had to ask her if I could sit down, and she wasn't too friendly either. Onto the food, I had burger, chips and squid. All of the food was delicious, hot and flavoursome. The food didn't takelong to come out. The service was disappointing and then to be hit with a service charge was a kick in the teeth. Hence the 3 star review. Customer service is huge, definitely needs looking at.

Had an evening munch after visiting London Zoo. The starters were fantastic: chips were incredibly crunchy and oiled to perfection, the loaded fries with keema was tasty and the chicken wings = awesomeness with superb flavour The Wagyu burgers we ordered were super super bad. The taste was awful and we all independently agreed a rating of 2 or 3 out of 10. Don’t know what it was but there was an over powering and smelly sauce combined with the lack of taste from the actual meat that ruined it for us. It could have been honestly the worst burger I’ve ever ate. I would like the owners & chefs to really look and evaluate this. The desserts were good, cheesecake and milkshake. I am giving 5 star as the experience was brilliant the wonderful woman at the till was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, she let us access the upstairs room for prayers and one of the staff led us too. Amazing business and I’m sure your food is amazing but there something just went randomly wrong this occasion. Visited 4th October 2024

All food we ordered was delicious, service was good. Shame they don't serve alcohol, but they did say you can bring your own. Staff are friendly and polite. The tortilla chips used for nachos were really good, different to the standard ones we get here. Coleslaw was tasty. Sweet potato fries were lovely a crispy. I had the Mexican chicken burger, was really good. My friend had beef burger, which he said was good. We did order too much food, but you can take leftovers home!

Terrible experience! Imagine finishing your burgers and fries with your friends and then seeing a small mouse running through the corner of the restaurant from the corner of your eyes. SICKENING. When we told the waiter we thought we saw something, his response was ‘The mouse?’. THE MOUSE? Is this like a pet for the restaurant? He wasn’t bothered about it, asked us how everything was and was expecting full payment for the meal. The lack of concern made the experience even more upsetting/infuriating. We then had to wait alongside the pet mouse for a few minutes to settle the bill (of which we only paid half). I wonder how normal it is for the restaurant to have mice visit their premises and I wonder how the kitchen looks like. Sanitary rating outside states 4/5. Surely that can’t be right.

Went for a lunch deal. Burger, chips and drink comes to around £12. Burger was cooked perfectly, the meat was slightly pink inside and super juicy. Bun very soft, didn't get in the way. Large portion of chips that we struggled to finish. Staff attentive and friendly.

Lovely burger and was a food place to get a quick lunch. Prices were fine for the area and I'd happily go back.

A different place in Camdem, their burgers surprised us, they were delicious, the nachos were both homemade style, the guacamole was delicious and the white sauce was brutal. The waitress treated us great and the midday offer was great.

Exceptional staff, very quality ingredients. This is one of our favourite burgers in London and for the value, you can’t beat it. Get a burger, go see a show after, perfect night out.

My top burger joint right now! I got the brown butter burger on Uber eats and it was so tasty and the flavours work so well with the caramelised onions. The honey toasted brioche buns the burgers come in are a nice touch too. The chicken tenders are pretty good too. I like that they used panko crumbs for the crispy coating. The home made sweet chilli sauce goes well with that than the original sauce it comes with in my personal opinion as I don't like mayo based sauces.

We liked the food a lot, the burgers were very delicious and their potatoes too! The location is also very good and the price is a little more “expensive” but for London it is quite good. I think the staff could be friendlier.

I went in today to get their burger deal, the big cheese burger was juicy and flavourful, their chips was hand cut and they were banging and what was surprising to me was that they use proper sea salt on their chips which was a really nice touch 👌🏼. Will go again if I am ever in the area 😍👏🏼

Really good experience!! Chips were fluffy, right amount of salty and cooked to order. The burger was really juicy and flavourful with a really soft bun. Presentation was nice and I appreciate being given an actual plate. The lunch menu was also very solid value for money. Service was really really swift by the one person working the tils and waiting the tables - afternoon on a monday. The staff member was also very pleasant.

He tenido Bleeker street , Black Bear , No Drama en el Reino Unido y esto fácilmente se sitúa junto a ellos. Enormes recomendaciones a este pequeño lugar.

Great cook and attentive service

Estoy revisando la sucursal de Fulham que he pedido desde hace tres veces la comida con una gran hamburguesa doble, patatas fritas y una bebida. La hamburguesa está cocinada a la perfección y no nadando en salsa horrible, las patatas fritas están desolladas y son tan deliciosas y la bebida es una lata de limonada blanca que preferiría si tuviera una opción de bebida como Fanta, coca o cerveza de jengibre.

Nice chilled spot to hang out and have a bite with friends, or just grab and go. Food is tasty and affordable, can't really ask for more. Oh! Very nice staff also. If you're in search of a lunch spot, look no farther.

Brown Butter Smash Burger is one of the best burgers I've eaten. Unintentionally went there when it was quiet so service was obviously quick, can't speak for when it is busier. Regardless, I will make a point of going back here next time I visit Camden.

This is four stars on Trip Advisor because there are silly Billy’s who give it one star because they had to wait too long or one of the dishes didn’t give a big enough portion. If you read what they say about mostly everything else it’s positive, especially the quality of the food. Service fine, but it’s the food silly! Wagyu burger perfectly cooked, medium rare. So juicy. Perfect brioche bun. Amazing herby chips. Impeccable onion rings and the icing on the cake: You can bring a kick-ass red wine (it’s BYOB) to wash it down with. Oh and the burger are from £10.50-15. Great value for the quality offered. I will be back.

Food was absolutely disgusting, had The American, cheese was still raw, and the burger was full of muscle chunk. Makes me wanna puke. The place was cold. People from the back went for a smoke without washing his hands and went back to the kitchen. Waitress was nice and sweet. Otherwise, 0 star. Never going back.

Burgers were alright, but too bland. Almost no spices/salt in it. Also nachos were even more bland, 0 spices and were cold. A little disappointed, for that price point it’s not that good.

Ordered via uber eats just now. The food (nachos with tortilla and a burger) wasnt even pretending to be warm. Cold like a corpse. Like it was waiting in the freezer past its sell by date. Burger patty was tasteless, muscles with some tendons, worse than the meat my dog eats. went straight to the bin.

Very average, burgers weren’t tender and the meat didn’t seem fresh, fries were very oily, certainly not worth the price charged. Will not return recommended you avoid as lots as there is lots of choice on the high street.

A great place to grab a bite before a gig at The Forge. We had awesome chicks on fire burgers and the jalapeño slaw is to die for! Great that it's BYO too as it's unlicensed, so bring your own tipple. Friendly staff in a chilled atmosphere. Highly recommend 👍

Entramos por casualidad ya que estábamos dando una vuelta por Camden y alejándonos un poco de los precios desorbitados de la comida en Londres, y encontramos esta hamburguesería que simplemente viendo sus burguers te entra hambre.. Pedimos dos big cheese, unos nachos y dos botellas de agua y nos sorprendimos gratamente porque estaba delicioso!!! Los nachos eran caseros, aunque es verdad que estaban un poco fríos y que venía poca cantidad.. La hamburguesa estaba súper jugosa y muy muy rica. Habíamos probado anteriormente otras hamburguesas en londres de cadenas conocidas allí, y sin duda me quedo con esta! El servicio fue súper súper rápido, en menos de 10min teníamos todo en la mesa.

The Mexican Burger 🍔 was delicious with fresh 🌶 and thyme fries 🍟 hit the spot. The real deal was milkshakes freshly made. Service by the gentleman was friendly, and non rushed even though they were closing. Definitely recommend and would return after a KoKo gig 👍

I don't think I've ever given a 1 star review but this place was really disappointing. The quality of ingredients was terrible, meat all grisly and chips undercooked. Only had a few bites of the burger. The restaurant was filthy at 1pm, with the staff sat there watching Netflix on her phone. Just overall a really bad experience.

The burger was pretty good. However the fries 😳, the amount of melted Raclette was too much and they came in undercooked and soggy. The waiter refunded that with no problem fortunately.

Massively fallen off since the golden era a few years ago. The burger was overcooked and the flavours were poor. The only good thing was the calamari.

Really delicious food and great service. We got a burger each and shared some loaded fries which was more than enough for us for this meal. The flavors are on point and you can tell that they put some thought and work into their food.

Love the BoB franchise. Southgate best. However this place is well below standard! Ordered on Uber where they advertised a “meal deal for 2”. However they didn’t send drinks despite me putting this in the notes. I think the “deal” is truly misleading. The plain fries had a smattering of thyme in them. Spoiled the taste as the herb isn’t for me. Burger was not the way it was meant to be with a mix of flavours and not the Mexican I’m used to. Great location in Camden. Shop is a bit narrow and atmosphere could be better. Have been before and got a 4 star.

We were impressed with this restaurant. We loved the decor and the food was fabulous - Wagyu burger for £13? Can't complain about that. My daughter had an Oreo shake which was, quite frankly, stunning! The sweet potato fries were burnt but the serving staff were must accommodating. Everything else was perfect. We all had beef burgers; my wife's Elvis burger was huge and she thoroughly enjoyed it. This burger joint is exactly as good as the other reviews say that it is. UPDATE 2023: Food is still amazing, BUT: - Tables are sticky and some are broken - my wife had to switch chairs a couple of times as they were either filthy OR the metal was digging into her legs - there was a smell of dirty cloths used to clean the tables POSITIVES: - The food is still stunning - Excellent milkshakes - The staff are superb - Value for money is unbelievable

The burger was nice but the chips were old and greasy. I would eat there again but would specifically ask for chips to be freshly cooked.

They forgot 2 items for my order. Last week they agreed if I reorder again they will delivery the items they forgot. Today I reordered and they didn’t deliver the items that they forgot. Very unhappy and they took my money but didn’t deliver

BOB standard has really gone down. Mediocre burger and the wings use to be grilled buffalo wings in sauce, now they give you minute fried wings in sauce (wings of love more like wings of loathe). Absolute rip offs. One restaurant removed off my go to places to eat.

Average beef burger couldn’t find any real taste to it. Fries were cut thin, would have preferred steak fries. For a small angus beef, burger fries and a drink came up to £16 which is very expensive for what you get.

I have been here several times now and it fully deserves this 5 stars. Amazing food at competitive prices. The male waiter gave us amazing service.
