Bankroll Cafe in Glasgow City

Had been working one Saturday morning in North West Glasgow, and was having a break before starting my next shift that would take me right through to dinner time, so was in the need for something to eat and a coffee. The Bankroll Cafe was near by, so thought I would check it out. Unusual place, as its a cafe, but more so a bar/restaurant and club.... I did question if I had went to the right place. Ordered a breakfast roll and coffee to go, and was freshly prepared in no time. Prices are very cheap, and the food was tasty enough. If passing by again and need something to eat on the go, would certainly visit here again.

This place looks nice on the surface, but sadly it is a disgusting place to eat. All food appears to be the cheapest of quality and cooked just as bad. It’s not difficult to cook an edible breakfast, yet somehow this is beyond the capability of the bank roll. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of stopping here to continue driving and find somewhere else.

The only good thing about this place was the waitress bringing the drinks. food was lukewarm at best worst steak pie ever fish was hard staff need to learn to cook manager kept passing the buck chips were unedable and the macaroni was worse would not go back to this place even if it was free 👎👎👎👎👎

Entró el bankroll ayer. Creo que había una función activada. La mujer con cabello morado detrás del mostrador nunca nos saludó en lo más mínimo, simplemente dijo que no puedes sentarte hoy. Dije que está bien, ¿podemos llevar? Ella asintió y nos dio el menú. Entonces decidimos pedir un par de panecillos calientes. Entonces ella gritó abruptamente NO COMIDA CALIENTE. No creo que mereciera que me hablaran de esa manera y la forma en que habló me dejó bastante retraída. Seguramente, cuando entré originalmente al café, ella podría haber dicho algo como "hola, tenemos una función hoy, por lo tanto, nadie puede sentarse y no podemos servir comida caliente en este momento". "¡Tal vez una clase de modales sencillos seguiría el camino!

Tuve mi sexagésima fiesta de cumpleaños en la cafetería de bankroll el sábado 28 de septiembre. No me puedo quejar de este lugar. El personal del bar fue muy servicial y nadie tuvo que esperar mucho para ser atendido. Compré su buffet, que era de un nivel muy alto y se servía exactamente en el momento que sugerí al hacer la reserva. DJ fue genial y definitivamente sabía cómo mantener la fiesta. Es un lugar poco conocido pero qué gran lugar. Muy recomendable.

I work just across the road from here so I have been here a few times now only taking away though so unsure on what the dine-in experience is like, I really enjoy the food and it has never disappointed, staff are friendly and prices are fairly reasonable, would recommend this place!

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere , good home-cooking and was very busy which is always a good sign......!

After passing this place many times I finally popped in. Great cafe. Soup 10/10. Speedy. Efficient. Friendly and very inexpensive. I will return.

Only just found out about this place, got food to take awa & was well decent. Quick & good service. X

Great food. Too much. Lol. Too nice to leave so bought my leftovers home in a box. Lunch for Tomorrow .

My husband passed away on the 14 th December 2017 , My daughter and I decided to have a meal at the Bankroll for family and friends who had attended the service at the Crematorium on the 27 th of December . The meal was Suberb, the staff could not do enough for us , very pleasant and courteous . Would recommend the Bankroll for a meal or a quick snack , also do a takeaway . So if you are passing and decide you want something to eat then please stop and visit the Bankroll .

Was here for a funeral tea, quite a small venue but appears to be busy also with take always staff very friendly and buffet was plentiful and tasty also tea and coffee was topped up at regular intervals

The Lunch that we had for 10 was very nice and very filling! The service was a little slow but that gave us plenty of time for some good chat! A good place for a very solid lunch.

Have had breakfast on a couple of occasions. Good value and friendly service. Nice outside seating area. Popular for private functions.

The Bankroll offers great quality food that's fresh and at a great price. The cajun chicken salad is amazing and a really big portion too. Perfect for lunches and the morning roll stop too. I've still to go in for a family lunch though but I look forward to it.

Este fue reservado como un lugar de recepción para 100 personas después de un funeral? ? ? Una gran cafetería, 130 personas presentamos pero tienen los asientos extra clasificados, por suerte estaba soleado afuera para algunos de los desplazamiento.

La decoración está en mal estado, paredes desnudas, sillas apiladas en la zona de asientos, olor extraño. Fuimos y nos dijeron que 'la comida es off'. Dio la impresión de que solo buscan los clientes habituales en los hombres de mediana edad (borrachos), no parecen estar interesados en pasar del comercio. La camarera grosero con mi cambio desapareció El lugar es realmente mala, es mejor evitarlo.

Friendly staff, VERY clean, good value for money, lift for wheelchairs (there are 2/3 steps to inside seating -which was lovely!). Toilets were also very clean with baby changing facilities and a disabled toilet. Only went in because car had been recalled and it wasn't...

Un pequeño gran sitio de la parte frontal de la zona industrial. fisura sándwiches con opciones inteligentes. Sabroso y ultra fresco, muy impresionado. Ya he estado dos veces y no dudaría en volver a ir en cualquier momento estoy de regreso en Glasgow.

Mi cuñada vive a menos de media milla de este lugar y solo nos enteramos de este año. Estuvimos allí ayer para el almuerzo y los tres de nosotros tuvimos una comida diferente y todos disfrutamos de lo que tenía. Este sitio necesita que anuncian...

Buena relación calidad-precio y la comida es de primera categoría. Definitivamente vale la pena una pequeña visita. El bistec baguette es delicioso! Personal amable y buena decoración.

Excellent food lovely decorated , will definitely be visiting again , would recomend to all , fab portion sizes and excellent value for money , soup was lovely .

Found a great little food oasis in the balmore industrial estate had a brilliant 3 course Xmas lunch at a great price food was superb. Thanks bankroll
