Shocker. Used to go here a lot when passing through Paddington, but the food, hygiene levels (employee badges dangling in food), quality, sizes, prices have all had a major step back recently. The last time I visit this site. Probably only popular with delivery app orders that don’t see the place for a reason. Staff seem friendly enough, but certainly not the place it was. And yes that is a fly within the sealed bowl.

As a Mexican I could say, the food is really good with excellent and real taste. However, all products are super fresh for good price. I highly recommend Barburrito !!!

SHRINKFLATION!!! I was always a fan of this place, but the portion size I have just had served up is quite literally half of what it used to be. No longer represents good value for money so sadly I won’t be returning. Anyone with recommendations of an alternative in Paddington station please post here!

I am always a fan of generous restaurants. Restaurants that offer a great amount of food with the usual price. Barburrito definitely one of them. The staff is a key secret in it success. Personally, over a few visits, they built an amazing relationship (not too personally, not too formally, eventually something in between). If you are travelling via Paddington a lot, making a long-term relationship with this restaurant is a valued and valid investment. Highly recommend.

I came here out of an amazing offer, and surprisingly, I admired the place. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff? Uhh, really friendly and professional. They neverever show any hesitation to serve with their best or being upset for redeeming the offer (which is something you have to fight for in other restaurants). The view and interior design are cosy and convenient. You can easily watch the platforms to catch your train. If there is anything wrong, it that this is the only branch in London. Unfortunately.

Not a very nice dining experience. One of the staff kept trying to ask where we were from (even after we told him we live in London).

Two times in a row, the staff have failed to serve the right ingredients mentioned. They refuse to correct the order and are very slow to respond. Wouldn’t recommend.

The staff seemed quite unprofessional. While heating my tortilla, they accidentally dropped it into the gap between two counters, but then continued to use the same tortilla. I found this quite unhygienic and concerning. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I believe this situation could have been handled more carefully to ensure cleanliness and better customer experience.

Prioritise delivery orders above waiting customers. Long wait while they prepared a long list of delivery orders in front of waiting customers. Even after this certain fillings were "only available to delivery orders". Life is too short so went somewhere else

Terrible portion size for a hugely inflated price. Honestly, look how much rice and salsa is in that?? Go to Tortilla and get 3x the amount of filling. I have attached the filling that you get in this burrito.

Great service food is very good

The food was good but we got heavily overcharged- we bought two dishes that were £5.15 each, we also got guacamole which was a pound extra each lastly we bought a sprite which I’m assuming didn’t cost more than £3. We were charged £22, the total of all the costs was meant to be around £15- when we discussed with the staff this issue, they provided no help and simply denied the fact that we were over charged. There was no communication of anything costing extra and I would definitely not recommend coming here if you don’t want to be scammed out of a tenner.

Did not have beef and didn't add cheese as mentioned on the menu. charged £22.50 instead of £14 witch was the correct amount and offered no assistance with a refund. staff seemed unorganised (shouting and confused) food was okay at best worth £10 at most for 2 loaded nachos and a sprite not £22.50

There are definitely better burrito shops out there - would recommend the hot salsa as the others don't have much flavour at all (hot really isn't that hot). Expensive burritos with lots of optional extras, and the flavours aren't as good as other burrito shops I've been to. But not bad for a quick lunch or dinner.

Alfie’s and Valentine’s services were wonderful, they answered all the questions I had and they were very patient and kind. The food was delicious and worth the price! I had to personally meet the Chef Colleen and Neelam as I was extremely happy with the food. Will definitely recommend this place, whether it is to sit down and have a meal or if you’re just passing by Paddington as a takeaway. Loved the atmosphere from the whole team.

I don’t normally post reviews but I didn’t really enjoy the service when I went to get a burrito, the servers seemed uninterested in knowing what I specifically had ordered, packing for a normal burrito instead of a loaded. I was offered “mild, medium, spicy” sauces instead of the actual sauce names which I was confused about since I had never ordered here before, and I wasn’t offered any information as to what toppings were included or not. To top it all off I had asked for a meal deal and the servers had completely forgotten my chips after I had paid. Was a shame since I had been interested since first seeing it but as a new customer I don’t think the service was great and could definitely be improved

So, there is a souped up burrito which says one extra filling plus guac. However, they don’t put much meat in the second time around and when you ask them to they say the management tell them it’s only 1.5 fillings. So the menu says 2, but the staff are told 1.5 only. In addition, if you order pork there’s an additional hidden surcharge of £1 for some ridiculous reason. Chicken is fine as a second meat, but pork adds another £1 on. So they screw you with half a second portion then add a sneaky quid surcharge. Appalling.

My first time Barburrito in Paddington and I think it’s my new favourite food stand at the station. I went for the loaded burrito because when in Rome! Totally delicious get all the fillings or just trust the server to know what the most delicious combo is ☺️ I didn't have time to take a photo because I was enjoying it so much

Needed some food before going on a 5 hour train and needed it to be somewhat quickly made. I had the classic burrito, two of the Jarritos soda drinks, and a portion of churros. They were all made and took about 5-10 minutes max to be served and have food ready. Plenty of seating and it was clean too. Special thanks to Hassan for checking if everything was okay and if anything else was needed, super service thank you.

The only option at a rather overpacked and disorganised Paddington station after all trains were delayed on a Saturday night. Staff were really thorough with my allergy to milk and went above and beyond to reassure me of ingredients. That said, the food wasn't the best. Which is at no fault of the staff, it's more of a wider chain issue. I'd say out of the cali-mex options like Tortilla and Mission Buritto, Bar Buritto is my least fave. Everything just lacked seasoning and any spice, and for a tenner the portion was meagre. It did the job of filling my belly, but it wouldn't be a first choice.

Dammo was excellent he asked about my GF Allergy cleaned the surfaces and changed his gloves all in front of me. Made me feel like someone cares about my health. Best service. All the staff were friendly. Cleanliness is of utmost importance and you could see the pride in their work.

Ordered delivery and the box was not sealed so it completely spilled and was inedible. When I called the restaurant to explain the situation the server was extremely unhelpful. I am very disappointed. Will not be ordering from here ever again after this experience.

Quick, hot, authentic burritos very conveniently located on the end of Paddington platforms. Also really like the Carolina Reaper hot sauce available at tables. Atmosphere quiet due to mostly being commuters but staff are friendly and welcoming! 2nd time here this week. Will definitely be back!

Edible food. Inflexible and panicked service. Do not recommend for vegetarians. I asked what the vegetarian options were. I was told that I could choose two from a selection of beans, veg, mushrooms and sweetcorn. A bit steep for the £9.15 price but I had a train to catch and a lack of healthy options. We progressed to the main filling options, where I thought it worth clarifying that there were no vegetarian options. The server ran me through the choices, which included a vegan option. I let her know that vegan is also vegetarian and that I’d like some. She let me know that no, they’re different, and told me that a filling is included in the standard wrap but if I wanted some it would be £1 extra?!? Turns out that since I’d chosen two base fillings (under the impression that they were the only vege options), if I wanted the vegetarian (vegan) main filling I’d be charged an extra £1 for the extra base filling that I’d selected. I was at this point visibly frustrated, which was met by frustration from the server who stared me down for asking her to explain which of the toppings would also be of extra cost. I’m sorry but the difference in pricing system for the jalapeños and the cheeses isn’t clear from the way these tiles are randomly interspersed. I explained this to the manager at the till, who was nervous as he seemed the only one aware that they were simultaneously going through an inspection. He apologised and said he wouldn’t charge me the extra £1. He still charged me the extra £1. The food itself was relatively fresh but bland. I was stood in the queue behind an older gentleman who asked for something with a bit of everything. In response, he was frustratingly told that he would need to choose from a host of confusing edgy titles - none of which would be covered by the £5 in his hand. After a few minutes of the situation having gone from the wholesome to painful, the manager stepped in to resolve.

okay, here's the deal as a lifelong Californian Mexican food lover. I finally broke down and tried this after many times walking by this Paddington station location.... it's okay... not terrible nor is it great. but if you need a quick burrito fix you can do a lot worse.

Worst experience ever! Rude and bad temperament! We asked for loaded and they started to pack for normal one. Eventually billed for loaded and charged us for an extra burrito which we haven't ordered. And when we asked they argued at us with bad temperament. Finally the manager had to come and sort it out. Never recommending nor going in again!
