Bay Cafe at SAND in Worthing

From the 1st time I stepped foot in here, I felt welcome and at ease. I was given lots of information about the cafe and college and got to chat to lots of people. The food is excellent and a good price. The cafe is a very chilled place to be.

One of the best cafes in Worthing along with their sister cafe East Toast! It is often hard to find a decent decaf americano but here it is spot on each time. For lunch I highly recommend smokey beans on toast or a panini, both equally delicious. I also find it hard to resist a brownie for a sweet treat, the best in town!! It is lovely getting to know the trainees that run this cafe as part of The Sand Project and watch them flourish and grow in confidence learning life and living skills in a busy cafe environment. Well done Team Bay!

A coffee from the Bay Cafe at Sand is always a winner! They also make a fantastic panini and some very exciting soup! (I don’t think that I’ve ever said that about a bowl of soup before!) Their brownies are, quite frankly, dangerously tempting and absolute heaven when I give in to them!

i think (BC) Bay Cafe is the Best ever The atmospheres is so friendly relaxed and happy. Fantastic customer service. The Staff and Food there is Brilliant. My favourite drink is a Mango smoothie and a good cup of tea. I would recommend everyone trying visiting (BC) Bay Cafe you will love it I enjoy visiting there as much as i can every month.

Another fantastic visit to Bay Cafe. The flat white was the best I've had this week and the cheesecake Brownie, made at the premises by the students was simply AMAZING. Lovely people, enthusiastic and friendly, especially Toby and Ellen today.

So happy to have popped in for a cup of tea and a tuna melt! The food was delicious and the service was impressive. Well done to the team. I will be back soon

Just popped in for a coffee while I waited for a bus. The coffee was tasty and just the right temperature. They had a gluten free jam loaf too which I thoroughly enjoyed. Really lovely relaxed community atmosphere with some well supported learning going on behind the counter. Great stuff

First time visiting and we loved it! 😍 Amazing food, with gluten free options. Wonderful service from professional staff. An incredibly calm, warm and welcoming atmosphere. My daughter (with q diagnosis of Autism) commented how comfortable she felt. Will definitely be going again.

Absolutely fantastic place to stop for a drink and food. The venue is very well presented and warmly welcomed. The staff are fantastic I will certainly be coming again.

I haven't tried the food here but the coffee was very good. I enjoyed it a lot and I especially like that there is art on the walls for you to look at as you enjoy your drink.

I had a lovely breakfast here this week. A gluten free panini with halloumi was freshly made and served with a fabulous americano coffee. So good in fact I had a second. Lovely atmosphere and nice business model. Good luck 🍀

Sand bay is a lovely spot in town. Great coffee’s and cake. Amazing staff and service!

Sand Bay is one of the most gorgeous cafes in Worthing! Their menu is really varied and the food so beautifully prepared and presented. They have food and drinks to suit all dietary requirements too! The cafe is a really cool place to relax and the walls are beautifully adorned with artwork designed by a local artist and by the students of The Sand Project. I LOVE this place and the super friendly staff! Oh, and they’re dog friendly too!

We recently held a private gathering at Sand Bay Worthing to celebrate the life of a dear friend. Everything was perfect. Andrea and her colleagues made us all feel immediately welcome and it was a very relaxing afternoon. Several in our party were vegan and Sand Bay provided a fantastic buffet of vegan food including a delicious cold soup with garnishes. It’s an ideal space for private functions but also a fabulous cafe (I recommend the chocolate brownies!), and they also do meals and breakfast. I look forward to returning very soon.

Formerly the Brunswick public house. A new cafe for Worthings burgeoning dine out culture. The lunch for three was freshly prepared and cooked in a bright, welcoming setting. Very good value, well presented and a varied menu for all dietary needs. A stones throw from Worthing promenade and beach, this place deserves to succeed.

Great relaxed atmosphere, very reasonably priced delicious food

Wow, what an amazing place. I had a beautiful grain bowl salad, created for me by Andrea. My friend had a panini and my dog had a veggie sausage roll. All or us loved our food. We then met a young lady, Phoebe, who had made dog friendly protein balls and asked if my dog, Molly, would like to try one. Molly readily gobbled it up. This will definitely be my 'go to café' when I'm next in Worthing.
