Beach House Bistro & Bar in Blackpool

The Beach House has a modern decor with panoramic views across the Irish sea. We were seated in the restaurant after making an online booking. We arrived at 2pm and were greeted by friendly staff and shown straight to out table. Service is slick. The food came in an appropriate amount of time and was delightful. We didn't order wine because we felt the prices were too high for the quality of the wine A glass of house wine is £9. A pint of Beer £6.60. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this as a place to go any time of the day.

Fantastic evening before we all went to the panto. 8 of us enjoyed our meals and we were looked after so well. Love this place. Would be great if they could put a floodlight out into the sea so we could see the setting brilliantly at night.

WARNING: THEY'LL STEAL YOUR MONEY! I enjoyed an okay but rather expensive meal here a few months ago with strange service from an overly familiar waiter with filthy fingernails. I decided to give the place another go on a recent business trip to see whether we should recommend it to our few hundred guests at an event being organised nearby. The answer: absolutely not! Unfortunately due to my colleague's illness I was forced to cancel a booking for dinner 6 hours in advance and they charged THIRTY POUNDS to my card! They were called up about this ridiculously opportunistic charge and said they would refund it. They didn't. Subsequent contact has been ignored. The owners can rest assured I will be getting my money back one way or another but for now, I warn people to stay away. Update: I did get my money back, or at least the value to £30, though they don't know how. 😜

Last night was our second visit here for my good lady’s birthday meal, the food is fantastic, the service is second to none and you’re maid to feel at home, last night we met and chatted to the late Bobby Ball’s wife who was sat at the next table to us, a really nice lady and Bobby was a comedy legend. We will definitely be back again

Had a lovely experience in the beach house. The staff are so friendly and attentive I had my mum with me in a wheelchair and they were super helpful and well catered for wheelchair access. Thank you

Book for the NYE party. I don’t think there is anything better they could have done. The food was outstanding and the entrainment was amazing. And great value for money. Big shout out for Shannon who looked after us all night!! Well done guys.

We came as a family of 5, we came here as usually we have no problems, however this time was far different. After being sat, it took 28 minutes for us to get a drink and then a further 15 minutes to even order food. The starters came and they were nice apart from the bread that was served with the king prawns (this was burnt) we asked for more off 2 people, eventually it came. We then had mains - however we had to get up and ask for more cutlery so we could eat, one of our mains was cold. We would have complained however we didn’t have a check back and we had already had enough of having to ask staff for stuff (drinks we had ordered but then never came twice) The other food was just ok. By this point we had enough so asked for the bill, upon receiving this they had tried to charge us for the extra bread we had because of the first lot being burnt. A glass of wine which was advertised at £13 a glass then tried charging us £18 for the glass. And a whopping £18 service charge, I don’t begrudge paying service charge, in fact I’m all for it, however in this instance the service was shocking, some food just ok some not ok. We didn’t wish to pay such an amount. Not sure what’s going on as used to be spot on. But wouldn’t return in a hurry! Waste of £180!

Great restaurant overlooking the sea. Nice atmosphere and great food. Staff were lovely and saw to my table quickly. The restaurant brings a. Touch of class to the Blackpool promenade. Would go again!

So disappointed with my booking, a double birthday lunch with my sister from America and myself from Southafrica flew in for my mother’s birthday. We were told to hurry up as there was a big function arriving. The manageress didn’t even put the starter down before telling us that we need to hurry and leave in 45 mins. What a miserable experience, a pushy and unskilled “manageress” thank god for Kensani our charismatic waiter which was great. What a waste of time that outing was.

I love this place, but I was given a wet chair. I don't mind standing in the bar as long as my pants are dry. So 2 star for now.

Lovely chilled vibe, even though it was a chilly December lunch sun the sun was shining, it felt like I was on holiday in med just off the beach.

We came in a family group of 5 for the restaurant. The food was lovely but for the price, the service was shocking. The first server who sat us down Thihansa was very helpful and polite. Our drinks and mains arrived quickly which we tucked into and enjoyed, however when shifts changed our new server Shannon was incredibly rude. Our table was completely ignored from then onwards. After a while trying to get the attention of Shannon and other staff members, we had decided we were not bothering with desserts. Nobody came to take payment. We had our gotten our coats on and still nothing. We got up starting to leave and only then did somebody run over to take payment. We chose not to pay the extra service charge at this point. All the staff were just stood around talking to each other. I also noticed Shannon treating the tables either side of us very differently. Very over the top and friendly with them but blunt with us. It’s a shame really, because they lost out on a generous tip which we usually leave. Our family were quite annoyed by the time we left, and we won’t be returning.

First visit was on Friday afternoon for lunch. I was extremely impressed with the menu, a lot of seafood options, which I was informed changes seasonally. This review for me is not just for those who are reading it, but it’s also for the owner and management. The young gentleman that served us who has been practising his Spanish, Learning from the chefs was extremely engaging and knowledgeable. If it was down to me on that day, I would’ve come back here in the evening for dinner however we chose to go somewhere else. We returned the following evening for an espresso martini, It was getting late so we asked the young girl who was waiting on our table if we could have a pizza and how long would it take? She told us that due to the fact we had a youngster, she would bring it out sharpish, and the pizza landed on our table within about 15 minutes, even though the establishment was packed. I already can’t fault the place, and I honestly believe this could be franchise out across the country, The decor is tiptop and 10 out of 10 I could be sat in any of the top cities in the world or any of the top island destinations. The staff are all smartly dressed and you get that Vip feel. Overall Decor, service and food 10/10. I literally cannot fault the place and I’ve travelled a lot. All I would say is, if the chap wants to park his SLK out the front with his dog, that he doesn’t needed to lock his car as the alarm was constantly going off. If your dog is that big and scary, in your hair dressers car you don’t need to lock the door.

Professional, attentive, and friendly staff, with comfortable surroundings. Great location overlooking the beach. The drinks menu is extensive, and the coffee (their own blend) is excellent 👌 Will return to sample their food offerings, which looked great coming past us. The menu is decently ranged and tailored to the fact that they use a Josper grill/oven, priced on the higher side, but quality is worth paying for 👍

A foreigner on the Promonade, the Beach House offers amazing drinks and great food! The service is on point with the front of the house being superbly handled. The pizza is amazing! I came back a second night to enjoy the Negronis and to get another pizza. Considering the options for good food and drinks, I'll be back a third night for drinks and the lobster!

Took my wife for her 40th. Great atmosphere. Has loud music and great food. I had the kids there too on a Saturday night and they loved it. They are 4 and 12 and didn’t feel out of place as other young ones there too. I would make sure you’re out by 8 though as could tell party starts around that time lol. Good idea with the unisex toilets. All contained rooms, not cubicles. Sink and dryer in each so no sharing sinks. The other reviews were misleading. Definitely go back with or without kids.

The Beach House in Blackpool offers a wonderful dining experience with great food, a lovely view of the beach, and a modern ambiance. The staff are exceptionally friendly, with special mentions to Dileepa and Chloe the Manager, for their outstanding service. It’s fantastic to have such a welcoming and contemporary venue right in Blackpool's center. Highly recommended!

Stopped for afternoon coffee. Staff polite and friendly and attentive when taking order. Lovely surroundings, very clean and tidy. Pricey but tasted delicious. Did not eat but did look at the menu with a view to possibly booking in the future.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing staff… We visited last night as a group of 8, Unfortunately i had booked the wrong date! The manager went above and beyond to accommodate us (7pm on a Saturday night) Delicious food enjoyed by all.. A must if visiting Blackpool ✨

Just had dinner here tonight for my 61st birthday, had fillet steak, the best and most juiciest steak I’ve ever had, seating very comfortable, the whole team we’re amazing and work very hard and treat customers like family, we cannot fault anything at all, not cheap, but worth every penny for the fantastic service, we will be back again 100 percent.

Well first we were greeted nicely, secondly we got a good seat at the bar, thirdly we had great cocktails served by a lovely guy named Will who, it turned out was multi-talented because he was also the saxophonist, and really great at that too. Raj remembered us from the last time we were in, which was about a year ago and, I think I am on fourthly now, the food was amazing

A friend recommended The Beach House to us for our trip to Blackpool and we couldn’t fault the food and drink especially the delicious cocktails. Our food was fresh and plentiful and the surrounds in the restaurant are very intimate and it’s hard to think you are just a short walk from all the huddle and bustle of Blackpool. The staff were very attentive and polite. Great music as well. Thanks for a great evening and we will be sure to return when we are next in Blackpool

We had a wonderful evening at Beach House Bistro, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Blackpool! From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the warm, inviting atmosphere, and the live jazz music complemented the beautiful sunset perfectly. The whole place had fantastic vibes, creating a memorable ambiance that we’ll remember for a long time. The food was another highlight. There were four of us, and we each tried a different dish, and every single one was delicious! The flavors, presentation, and freshness were all on point. It’s rare that a group of us agrees unanimously, but the food here really impressed us all. A special mention has to go to our waitress (wish we remembered her name). Although it’s been almost 15 daya, we still remember her warmth and friendly demeanor. She made us feel like regulars, as if we’d known her for ages. She was attentive, chatty in the best way, and truly knows how to interact with customers, balancing friendliness with professionalism. In total, we’d say this was hands down the best dining experience of our 5-day holiday in Blackpool. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable meal and evening out.

Visited for lunch we asked for a table overlooking the beach which was lovely.It took a while before someone took our order in fact service was on the slow side and we had to ask a couple of times for condiments That saying the food was good although the fillet steak at £38 was very very pricey and not really value for money. When we asked for the bill we were told that there was a discressionary 12.5% service charge which we could have removed.We chose to do that as we prefer to leave a tip no problem they said until we came to pay the bill and the server said to other staff they are not paying the charge and other customers could hear it.It was not a very professional thing to do we were very embarassed and it spoilt the experience.If it was up to me I would have taken back the tip we left.But we have chosen never to eat here again

An unexpected surprise for Blackpool; you could be in a swish restaurant aboard! Excellent surroundings and excellent food. Staff were a bit too busy to provide excellent service, but it wasn’t too bad.

We have been going to the beach house for years when we visit Blackpool, usually 5/6 times a year, mainly for drinks but decided to call in Saturday night for drinks and book in for a meal Sunday as my partner wanted to try the food. The doorman stopped us as we tried to call in at roughly 8pm and told us we could only go in for drinks if we had booked. There was 8 people sat in the bar area. Looks like we will be missing this bar in the future

Very busy and noisy. Food was ok but nothing special. Staff kept getting the order wrong but they were friendly.

Don't purchase the latte machiato - it is served in a demi- tasse cup. Expected the standard latte size. However, the Pineapple Rice was amazing, three ladies ordered it after me. ❤

I ordered a flatbread & hummus with pomegranate. ..2 seeds of pomegranate were on the hummus, I got 4 thin slices of a french stick toasted on one side with a mound of hummus...what was I meant to do once I'd dipped my untoasted not flatbread in? eat it with a spoon , when I queried this the waiter was basically arguing with me saying the waitress has gone to toast the other side it was very embarrassing.. Please don't try to palm off something that does not resemble flatbread and if you do toast both sides and charge half the price, also have the ratio of bread for the dip and add the pomegranate seeds not just 2 Cheers from a chef 👩‍🍳

Fantastic, please allow us to decide on the tip on avrage we would leave 20% however when a service charge is added we feel as you have asked, so that's all you get. But that's the only criticism and only a personal opinion. Thanks team!

Gone down hill Rapidly, staff and food also. Once over this place was fantastic the food was good the staff was amazing, dj on the decks it was a good funky place with excellent vibes. Now, staff look miserable and grumpy, and the 1 girl serving behind the bar is rude and miserable looking, I think she thinks she's a Model... Dreadful service at least employ people who can actually speak English.. Calamari was just a lump of deep fried burnt mess and the chicken tenders was just the same... Unfortunately now wouldn't recommend to anyone...

I honestly can't fault any part of our dining experience here. The staff were kind, helpful and attentive and seemed ready and willing to go the extra mile to make our experience perfect. The service was efficient and most of all, pleasant and engaging. The food almost broke my heart because I couldn't finish, but hated the thoughts of such flavourful and lovingly prepared food going to waste. Our entire party felt brand new leaving the restaurant. We'll be recommending this place to a choice few (it would be to everyone but I don't want the place to be full if we come back!

6/10/2024-Sunday. My husband and I went to this Bistor & bar for dinner. This was our 1st time we had dinner at this place. The view where we were seated was a stunning view overlooking towards the seaview. Thanks to the server, named Dileepa C, for his excellent service. The food was delicious. The lobster was very fresh, with light texture and delicious to taste. The crayfish cocktail is absolutely delicious, too. We were definitely back in no time. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently visited the Beach House Bistro and Bar with my daughter for Friday lunch ( which was exeptional) and while on this visit James (Manager) mentioned, were we aware that they now offer breakfast on a Saturday and Sunday 08.30-11.15. We were not, however I decided to go the follwing day. I ordered the ( full horizon) off the menu which was £15.50. I was certainly not disapointed. The presentation and quality of the food was outstanding and worth every penny. The Beach House is set on the resorts promenade and combine this with the views over the north sea and stylish vibe there is no better place to enjoy a superior quality breakfast in Blackpool.

Always enjoy it here, good food, good music and such a cool atmosphere. Not the cheapest place, but don't let that put you off. The extra couple of quid is worth it. You often need to book so bare that in mind.

We dropped in for a quick drink. After asking the waitress which one she recommended, she was confused and didn't know what to answer, so she had to ask others. She was unable to produce a single drink from the menu. At the end, we ordered a drink recommended by the bartender and, let's be honest, we waited quite a long time for it. After receiving the "surprise drink" because it was not known what the bartender would prepare for us, the quality of the appearance and selection of ingredients, flavors and everything was a plus. OVERALL, I RECOMMEND THE BARTMAN/BARTMAN. VERY SUPER PROFESSIONAL. The service in the room, to put it mildly, needs further training. To sum up, I recommend it all

They were busy, that's fair enough. Was told to sit in bar to wait for table, fair enough. Waited 1 hour for table. Ordered 3 rounds in that time, to be told we can't have food after waiting an hour. Now, it's so late nowhere else is serving food. Completely ruined the night... McDonald's it is

First class food and service. Spoiled from start to finish. Immediately brought a bowl of water for our dog Sandy. The food was outstanding. Service was quick efficient and made to feel special. The place is on the pricey side for Blackpool front but well worth the money.

We were visiting Blackpool after a five year absence. We had so enjoyed the Bistro last time around and it certainly didn't dissapoint this time...food excellent, service excellent, atmosphere buzzing... Probably our last visit, but one we will long remember, thank you to all at Bistro.

Two friends and I visited the Beach House for an early meal yesterday and we were blown away by the experience. The place oozes cool chic with tasteful decor, chilled music provided by a DJ and at the right volume, and views of the beach, sea and adjacent piers to be enjoyed whilst dining. Modern artwork on the walls included a flock of starlings - a nod to the famous murmurations that can be seen around the piers in winter. The service was excellent; our waiter for the evening, Dileepa, was very attentive but not intrusive, and proved very friendly and super efficient. Our food and drinks orders were promptly taken and we didin't have to wait long to be served with a truly delicious and well presented meal. As the evening progressed, the sun started to set and put on a memorable show out over the Irish Sea. We'd like to thank Dileepa and the rest of the staff for providing such an enjoyable experience and well worth the journey to Blackpool for.

In Blackpool for the weekend beautiful day and thought we would try a few drinks! Returned for cocktails & bar tapas twice after that. Pina colada to die for! Lovely staff, great choices of food & drinks. A real relaxed theme in a modern stylish setting by the sea, what more could you ask for. Added bonus booked for the fireworks display took the package and felt like VIP’s so thank you, we will 100% be back ☺️

Having been previously and been exceptionally happy, I was excited to return, but unfortunately, my 'old fashioned ' tasted like whisky and water. It's not a nice whisky either 😕 Service was lacklustre too... Shame

For the last two years we have watched the Blackpool fireworks competition whilst having a meal at the Beach House and I can’t recommend highly enough. The view of the fireworks is superb and the whole evening is so well organised with Samantha in particular ensuring that the evening runs smoothly and everyone has a wonderful time.

One of a few beautiful, high end dining locations in Blackpool. Best time to go would be sunset and watch the sun dissappear over the sea with a cocktail. Even just going to the bar area is always a really lovely experience

Lovely setting, a bit pricy but you pay for a lovely ambiance, would come for a meal next time had tapas, amazing, large portions, will be back.x

We had the most wonderful dining experience at the Beach House Blackpool, and can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I called to make a reservation, Sam was incredibly helpful over the phone, ensuring we got a dog-friendly table. Once we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated by Jess, who was simply fantastic. Jess was so friendly, bubbly, and attentive throughout our meal. She really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was nothing short of spectacular, especially the fillet steak, which was cooked to absolute perfection. It was tender, flavorful, and truly to die for. I would go back just for that steak alone! The ambiance of the Beach House is another highlight. The decor is stunning—elegant and upmarket, yet still comfortable and inviting. And the views! Watching the sunset over Blackpool beach while enjoying our meal made us feel like we were on holiday. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable evening. If you're looking for a place that offers excellent service, mouth-watering food, and a beautiful atmosphere, the Beach House Blackpool is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

A great, more sophisticated place to grab a drink and foods in Blackpool. The staff are friendly and the drinks available are great including cocktails. If you want a full sit down meal then best to book ahead. But at the bar you can get all the drinks and some bar snacks including wood fired pizzas. The views of the beach and the comedy carpet are great.

Honestly just disappointing, Me and my family came to this establishment for some food and a drink and were treated badly by many members of staff by rude and judgmental looks. I was with my mum, my auntie and 2 special needs autistic family members, they caused no ruckus and were just simply enjoying their meal. It’s such a shame because the food was delicious, however the girls were just looking and staring at my family and clearly laughing at them, despite them doing nothing at all. My mum had to confront a member of staff and he dismissed it ignorantly and just denied that anyone looked at them funnily as he didn’t ‘see’ them. However that is just poor accountability, so I am unfortunately not coming back to this restaurant and hope the service improves as this is just not acceptable in 2024.

Food was great service was horrendous teenage kids waitresses n obviously never served or seen person with disabilities before laughing n joking at somebody who is different is not acceptable at all we payed up n left wouldn't go back ever n I will tell everybody I know not to go there poor poor attitude avoid at all costs

Goes from seaside seating outside to internal bar seating for food and cocktails. Inside there is a full service restaurant with beach view behind plate glass windows. It's a struggle to get in because it's very popular. Better book ahead. Great food

Sad experience. Private event on insideP which meant we couldn't order at the bar. No worries - sort of. One poor lass serving. Took 10mins to get served and ask for two halves Loads of others waiting too. Took another 10mins and a reminder to get those halves delivered. Tables covered in empties and plates (only one poor lass trying to sort it all!) Windy day. Glasses breaking. Loudest off key entertainment blasting like a canon out of the speaker. Couldn't hear my partner speak. Lol. Two guys behind us took 25mins to get a drink. Couple of people left. Wouldn't do this again in a hurry.
