Belgian Chips in Leicester

Quite the most awful meal I've for years. Chips were not Belgian style, chicken popcorn tasteless and thick with batter. No garnishing etc to add taste. Tiny tin of coke. Service virtually non existent and table etc dirty.

The best chips that I've ever had. the best customer service, they are very kind and friendly.

Chips are fresh, yummy n crispy.

I love their loaded chips, I always get the ground beef with chipotle sauce and genuinely it’s the best fast food you can possibly get in Leicester. 5/5 100% I got all my guys from work eating their loaded chips. Honesty amazing.

Best chips in Leicester! They're always fresh, crispy, the portion sizes are great, and the service is really friendly. The small box is really big so probs sizes are good value for money! My favourite is the Andalous Sauce, so good!

Quite difficult to get served but staff were very polite and helpful just distracted maybe? Asked for salt and pepper on my chips... they have so much pepper they are inedible

Really good place to eat. I ordered the loaded chicken grill, popcorn chicken, mozzarella dippers and the loaded chicken grougons. Big portions, fair price. Great taste with plenty of sauces to choose from. We all agreed this was a very good choice of eatery. Clean, the staff was very polite and attentive. Highly recommended if you like this sort of cuisine.

This place is amazing. The best chips ever. Can’t wait to go again….shame I don’t live in Leicester.

Chips greasy and over cooked, expensive and leave a horrid taste in your mouth, no gloves were used or hands washed the whole time we were there, even though he was handling money and touching raw meat! And my friends burger was uncooked in the middle. Won’t be going back..

One portion of chips and a....beard hair!!! That's what I got from this place, chips are already fried and then he fries them again in some dirty oil, the guy cooking this has got a long beard but not bothering wearing a beard net or any gloves, I've had 5 chips and then I've seen the hair which thankfully didn't end up in my mouth. Been sick straight after, disgusting, no reason why hygiene standards shouldn't be followed in a food cooking place. Definitely do not recommend this!!!

I prefer this chips takeaway better than others,it looks cleaner than others,chips always made fresh in front of you, with loads of sauces or spices to choose from. I usually have chips with melted cheese on top, my favourite. The only thing which I always saw is the fact that only one person is serving and also preparing the chips, so sometimes you have to wait for your chips,but other than all good. Staff always nice. You can dine in also if you prefer. I would give 5 stars if the waiting time would be less.

Came in the shop was ignored by a very rude employee I then tried to ask a question about one of the sauces to which he wasn't helpful and told me the menu was up there. Wouldn't use them again and wouldn't recommend

Had these chips at the weekend. Wow! Very much overpriced oven chips. My supermarket oven chips are much better than these. No crispiness really and bland. The blue cheese sauce was disgusting and runny, not a blue cheese sauce at all. Can't see repeat business here. Disappointed.

Menu says melted cheddar cheese, but serving nacho cheese sauce. Way too much of it, made the chips soggy and stodgy! Could feel my arteries clogging up

Absolutely amazing flavours from the steak and chips box. I don’t know where else you can get steak and chips on the go?! This is my 8th visit to belgian chips and they never disappoint! Every flavour and combinations are scrumptious. 1000% recommend

Best fries/chips I've ever tasted and the addition to their menu, the Steak Box, is BEAUTIFUL. Freshly cooked food at its best and great service to. Highly recommended.

Delicious Belgian chips, the hot chilli with grated cheese was very tasty, the turkey frankfurter was just perfect, cannot wait to try the new Belgian steak box!

Found this amazing place on Granby Street, and we had the Belgian steak box, which was fantastic, huge variety of sauces and the double fried chips were lovely.

My best fast food experience in Leicester - or anywhere! A fantastic, great value, super-friendly solution for this hungry family of four with little common ground in our tastes! The owner spent lots of time helping our disabled son to try sauces and make his choices, there was plenty to suit his somewhat picky sister and the two kids even got bit of a backstage tour when they asked how the chips were made! We will definitely be back to use our loyalty card - and use the genius holes in the counters that hold your chips!!

Awesome chips as always. New addition of Beef box is really good. Tender rump beef with chips, sauce and drink. A must visit.

I’ve come to England from America and this was the best food I’ve ever had. The chips were nice and saucy. The hotdog was nice and juicy as well. Overall great experience, definitely recommend.

Worst than having a bad produt is to have the best chips in Leicester and transform them into the worst chips in town, the chips were compared to the amazing chips made in Belgium today I had a medium box but the chips were not well cooked

I went for the blue cheese and hot chilli sauce and honestly what a brilliant combination. crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Will be visiting again for sure!

Great chips and really generous portions. Love the selection of free seasonings- we tried the dill which was fab. Tons of choice with sauces too. Don't think the peanut one that I tried did the chicken or chips any favours, but will try another next time! Wheelchair accessible :)

Great chips, like seriously the best I've had, but it depends on which member of staff you get serving you, I've had some servers in the past be real generous with sauces, but the newer faces I've seen seem to be a bit tight with them dulling the experience a bit. Regardless they do banging chips!

Service always great. 1 order away from a free large chips and drink on my loyalty card (10 orders in total). Chips are always fried to perfection and with the wide variety of sauces and seasonings you are sure to find something you'll enjoy. Can't recommend this place enough. Regular size with salt, vinegar and Andalouse sauce is my go to.

Waiting for 10 minutes and was served soggy chip shaped lumps of lunder cooked potato. It was awful I will never go there again. £12 for to cones of under cooked potato!

Absolutely gorgeous generous cone of chips. Crunchy ,crispy and I had sate sauce which just finished it off perfectly. Wish there was one in Coventry.

Wow! My husband and I popped in having spotted Belgian Chips on the dash to the station. The chips were cooked fresh just for us - don’t be fooled by the pile on the fryer, they’re just prepped for frying! We had an anxious five minute wait for our chips thinking we might miss the train and whether they’d be worth it. We’re going to visit Leicester again just for the chips! We just ate them salted to really get a feel for the flavour. They were beautiful soft in the centre with a crisp shell and a beautiful golden brown colour from the special way they’re cooked. We absolutely will be visiting again. Thank you!

Hi I came to you're establishment in Leicester yesterday and was very disappointed with you're customer service I received from you're "manager" I explained to him I had been charged twice and he said he had refunded me. After checking the bank I did not get my refund back and told you're "manager" He then rudely told me it would now take 4 days to get my money back in to my account. Instead of being apologetic for the mistake I received rude obnoxious behaviour and a total inconvenience I would have recommended you're business to my friends and family but won't be

Dont know what the hype was about these Belgian chips franchise firstly their cold potatoes noting more it was not like we got hot piping chips off the fryer they were premade batch waiting on the side. The price is steep for cold chips and the sauce was just on the tip of the iceberg with mainly bland cold chips on the bottom. Stick to McDonald's frys they atleast be lukewarm if not fresh out the fryer. Good luck!

The chips were absolutely delicious! Really great choice of sauces and seasonings! There are 3 options of sizes - small, regular & large! We all chose regular and it felt like a large! Portion sizes are generous which is fab! The staff who we met were really lovely and friendly! I hope they come to West London soon otherwise might need to make a trip to Brighton for some soon!!!

I came across this place when I was in Leicester and this place serves amazing fries.They had so many sauces to choose from.I had samuri sauce..will be coming back for other flavours.Anyway tasty fries at very reasonable prices

I just bought and wasted £10. For what, burned old and no sauce. Worst place to eat special in the night time. Definitely the use the leftovers from the previous day. Definitely not coming back.

Well cooked, unlike in other chip shops in the city centre. Generous portions, short waiting time.

For basically chips with sauce I was really surprised how good they were. There's something special about how they prepare them that makes them taste great.

Not happy with the quality of today's potato. The presentation was great, but the chips was quite soggy and undercooked. I would not be recommending it till they have improved the quality of their potatoes.

Awful chips, they were so. Small you couldn't get on your fork. And most were burnt. I ordered ketchup with chilli and it was so. Drowned that they were all soggy. Totally nasty never again.avoid at all cost. ....... Following your reply below I would rather not have any replacement to get the same rubbish and waste Of waste of money not only to buy them but to drive into town, pay for parking etc only to throw them away again like I had to with this only and my sons previous experience was the same.

Great service and experience, as a belgian I can vouch that this is definitely the closest you will get to Belgian chips. The team is awesome and have even greater owners! Highly recommended, keep it up guys!

Finally a quality place with amazing chips! The chips are absolutely delicious. The sauces add some serious flavour. My Friday cheat day sorted 👌 5* food and service!

The chips were so tasty, nice and crunchy and very addictive, I love these chips compared to others as the texture to them is so much nicer, you also get a pretty big bag for the price as well. Worth the price and I would suggest Belgium chips to all fast food lovers.
