Bella Cosa in Tower Hamlets

Mi esposa y yo más dos amigos fuimos el sábado 14 de diciembre a eso de las 3. 00 pm. El lugar estaba vacío, tal vez había una razón para ello. Mi comida de lingüina con langosta no era comestible. El marisco era como caucho y masticable y la langosta extra consistía en una gran concha y unos pocos tentáculos pero sin carne. Cómo un restuarante puede salirse con la suya sirviendo comida no comestible mendigos creencia pero esto era obviamente por qué estaba vacío. No me quejé ya que tuvimos que los huéspedes con nosotros, pero el cargo por servicio de 12 . El 5% era difícil de tragar, supongo que como la comida.

Si aún no has probado Bella Cosa te lo recomiendo. Es realmente una joya escondida y ofrece una experiencia gastronómica íntima con un ambiente refinado y sofisticado. El personal es muy acogedor y de inmediato me hizo sentir como en casa, ya que comencé la noche con Prosecco y deliciosas aceitunas Nocellara. El menú del Bella Cosa incluye platos italianos caseros saludables, elaborados con ingredientes de alta calidad directamente de The Bel Paese. Mi viaje culinario comenzó con una selección de antipasti clásicos, con un toque: Tartare di gamberi que era fresco y delicado, con un toque de especias y cebolla de primavera para realzar el sabor de la gamba; Bruschetta, un favorito de todos los tiempos, hecho con el pesto más fragante; Caprese con buttata, por lo que la leche fresca seguía goteando mientras la cortaba. Por último, pero no menos importante, Arancini tartufo e funghi, una delicia crujiente. Ahora para la comida principal, y no pude resistir probar Cacio e Pepe, que se presentó maravillosamente en una rueda de Cacio Pecorino según la verdadera tradición romana (en el momento en que probé el primer bocado me sentí como si estuviera de vuelta a Roma) ; esto fue seguido por Tortelloni funghi e tartufi, el sueño de un verdadero amante de la pasta - y ni siquiera soy un amante de la pasta en general - pero estos realmente dieron en el lugar, y las trufas recién raspadas elevaron el plato a nuevas alturas 😃 Por último, las chuletas de cordero perfectamente cocinadas maravillosamente maridadas con un puré de papas fragante. Todo bañado con un increíble blanco italiano. Y por supuesto, ninguna comida italiana está completa sin tiramisú de postre. La versión de Bella Cosa era fresca y deliciosa, como mamá solía hacer! 😜 En general, Bella Cosa es un buen competidor para otros restaurantes italianos en el muelle, ofreciendo verdaderos sabores originales, porciones generosas y un excelente servicio al cliente sin romper el banco. Una visita obligada para una velada romántica o una noche entre amigos 😃

Tan decepcionado, fui allí después de la recomendación de Facebook con la gente diciendo que era increíble. Terrible servicio con camarero incapaz de comunicarse ni hablar o reconocer que estás allí. El servicio era atroz sin habilidades del cliente o positividad. Cuando llegó la comida, la pizza era excelente, la lasaña era promedio y una porción muy pequeña. Las fichas nunca llegaron. La carbonara de espagueti era un desastre pegado de creación infantil probablemente en el microondas ya que estaba congelada y en realidad se podía recoger en un tenedor en su totalidad. El servidor amablemente lo eliminó de la factura que era lo correcto era que apenas se comía. El lugar tenía potencial pero necesita una gestión fuerte para ponerlo en forma a lo grande

What a hidden gem in Canary Wharf. We booked in advance to celebrate the first birthday of my son. Excellent comunication with manager Sunil who took care of everything in details and was more than accomodated in order to make everyone happy. Food was unbelievable, big portions for tasteful fresh quality. All my guests got in love with parmigiana and arancini! Bread, pasta, risotto, chicken and tagliatelle exceeded our expectations. Big thank you also to the team working that day, making sure everything got delivered promptly! Playful with the babies, they gave us also a spare table where we could put decoration and cake. Everything was just perfect Definitely need to come back!

The service was worse. When we asked to explain a simple dish the person didn’t explain the dish. Just mentioned it’s Pasta. When we asked for mocktails available, the person was not able to tell about it. Food was ok, but our special lunch went in drain

The service was poor from start to finish. They brought an incorrect main course for me. I waited a long time for them to change it to the correct one, during which time my wife had finished her main course. When they eventually brought mine it was cold - either not warmed properly or had been sat waiting for ages. No apology from the staff for the poor service. Won’t be going back.

Great food, good service at reasonable prices all served by friendly staff. Having previously only ever ordered food to be delivered, I wanted to go in and not surprisingly the visit was worth my while. We had the lamb cutlets which were delicious. Also, highly recommended was the apple slice and ice cream. Go you will not be disappointed and enjoy the view.

My boyfriend and I were looking for an Italian restaurant around canary warf for lunch . we found on google Bella cosa. the restaurant is located on the ground floor overlooking the canal , the super friendly staff , the maid Admina , an Indian girl-moved to London a year ago was super . great service, great vibe is very nice. A friend and I visited on the 9th March as we love going out for dinner around canary wharf and Greenwich and we love Italian. A few people I know had been before and highly rated it. We both love Italian food and it did not disappoint. The servings sizes were great value for money, the food was super tasty and wine and cocktails were fab. The waitresses were super attentive, both Meher and Teya. Even gave us some suggestions where we were not sure due to the large selection. The sweet potatoe fries were the best I've had (pics does not do it justice) There was also a brilliant selection of vegan mains and starters. The pesto pasta was lovely! Truffle aranchini balls were incredible. I will definitely visit again when in the area 😀

I am afraid there were many dishes unavailable, service wasn't great, and I think prices are high for what we got. Dishes just weren't that tasty. No atmosphere although we ate early. Sorry but need to write this as other reviews are glowing and do not sum up our experience..

It was our second time in Bella Cosa, this time to celebrate my birthday. An amazing experience and exceptional food. All the dishes we ordered were delisious and flavorful. We would certainly eat them again. The place feels really cosy and the view is great. Thank you Sunil for making my day so special especially with the supprise you prepared. You couldn’t organise it better. It was all perfect. We would also like to say Big Thank You to Narcisa for looking after us the whole evening. We will definitely visit Bella Cosa again and recommend this restaurant to our friends.

We have just had an experience of a lifetime. We ate at La Bella cosa. We started out with garlic and cheese bread and arrcani balls, they were delicious. Then we both had pasta and it was truly extraordinary, I have never ever hade such good pasta before The staff was super friendly and paid attention to all the guest all the time. I went with friends who mentioned that it was highly recommended on TikTok due to its quality as well as the availability of halal food which is very hard to come by in London. I want to say that the service was impeccable and we were very much looked after as our every need was met and that is very rare to come by, especially by the young blonde waitress who was very sweet. I just wish I had the same glowing review about the food. In short, it was lacklustre to say the least; thankfully, the starter was very tasty as we got prawns with chilli and garlic and almost wiped the plate clean! The mains (well, at least for me) was disappointing. I had the salmon tagliatelle which simply just had no flavour. I thought adding that adding salt and pepper would make a difference but other than core flavours of the salmon, tomato and pasta itself, there was no discernible flavours of seasoning. Maybe I made a mistake in ordering and that the other mains would’ve suited me better? But all in all, I would recommend this experience but maybe stay away from seafood mains.

We had booked a work dinner during a stay in East London exhibiting at Excel. We had high hopes, looking at TripAdvisor's reviews, and the '££££' price tag. Due to Covid, one of our party had to bow out. We advised the restaurant, through the booking app, that we were one down. On arrival, we received a rather cool reception and were asked where the missing person was. We advised that we had pre-notified the change. There was a sigh and we were taken to our table. The restaurant was a quarter full max so not sure why this was such an issue. The food was very affordable, definitely not '££££' as on TripAdvisor (hoping that doesn't put people off) and, for the money, delicious. The service defrosted as our evening progressed and we came away having enjoyed most of the experience. The photo on TripAdvisor is slightly misleading, in that there were no table cloths on the tables which gave the place a cafe feel rather than a restaurant. 4 stars is generous but the hospitality trade is in dire straits at the moment so want to err on the positive side.

Just home after a wonderful Mother's Day lunch at Bella Cosa! The Pasta's were exceptionally delicious as were the freshly prepared pizza's. I accidentally ordered the wrong pizza and the manager insisted on making me a fresh new one at no extra charge. The views were both beautiful and interesting as a Russian yacht was parked outside the restaurant which was confiscated by the British government the next morning (all 38 millions worth) I would just like to say thank you to all the staff that looked after all 5 of us.

Authentic Italian food. The pizza was huge considering the price we paid for it and the burrata with pesto was to die for. Would definitely recommend. Service was excellent by all the staff especially Jimmy who made sure that we had everything we need.
