Bellini restaurant in Cotswold

One of the best experiences ever had in UK!!! Authentic Italian food and very cozy atmosphere. Everyone have to try it!

We were there for a late lunch on Christmas Day and were thankful the restaurant could accommodate our last minute reservation. It was crowded and staffs were extremely busy hence service was slower than what we would have liked but the staffs were friendly. Food was good and portions were generous. We enjoyed our meal.

I have to say that although we had a small issue and notified them they went above and beyond to rectify it and would happily return. For the non issue item we had it was lovely.

Disappointing given previous reviews. Very expensive fish platter starter seemed like the bits had been taken out of freezer bags and deep fried. And the mains did not feel fresh. No loo paper in the ladies. Maybe just an off day. Response ro restaurant response: Just for the record, we were asked during the meal once to which my daughter responded, not I. And I left a large proportion of my main meal. I considered withholding the service charge but thought that as this is shared amongst the staff, that would be unreasonable. £70+10% for two people for two courses plus two soft drinks each seemed to me to be quite pricey.

Visited here for a Christmas meal with friends, the atmosphere was very cosy and warming. The staff were very polite and professional making it one of the most enjoyable Christmas meals we have had yet. Will definitely be returning in the future.

This place is fantastic. We came in for lunch and there wasn’t anyone else in (random Thursday) and the waitress was very attentive. The carbonara was to die for. Highly recommend.

Great little restaurant with good service and lovely food. This was the halfway point for a meet up with friends. We had a long lunch in a friendly atmosphere and managed to have a great catch up. We were made very welcome and at no point felt under any pressure to leave. Will definitely go again.

Authentic Italian with delicious offerings

Why are provincial Italian restaurants so disappointing? Another less than amazing meal in what at first glance appeared interesting. Service was a little rushed with starters served before we'd finished our nibbles of bread and olives (the best bit of the meal). Burrata starter was quite nice but my gambaroni (king prawns in a spicy sauce) was a single larger prawn in it's shell (making eating messy) with a few small shrimp. Mains were baked salmon - safe and quite nice and I chose a duck breast dish - not what I expected (probably from ignorance but not explained in description) - a dark brown 'stew' with potatoes and, once I'd found them, a few carrots and courgette slices. It was rich & tasty but visually unappetising. The duck was a little tough - perhaps over cooked for breast or not cooked long enough to become tender again. For dessert, we played light & safe with a simple affagato. We eyed someone else's Tiramisu but it looked typically inauthentic. If only more 'Italian' restaurants served a better variety of authentic regional dishes rather than the British pastiche versions.

We had a fantastic meal here for my birthday. My husband and I really enjoyed the whole experience. The whole place has been decorated beautifully. We started with cocktails upstairs and then moved downstairs to a bigger table to enjoy our meal

A nice Cotswold based authentic Italian restaurant. The staff were helpful, happy to make changes to the menu items to our liking and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely come again!

The sign on the wall says best pizzas in town. Should just say best pizzas. Delicious. Fabulous little restaurant

I have never in my life had such a pizza so wet n runny, could of done with a straw. The puddings were much nicer but had to order 2 for myself as the meal didn't fill me up. Sadly we won't be back.

Service was ok, staff were running around and not too attentive, but was rather disappointed with the risotto as what order wasn’t what was presented (ordered vegan version). Overall experience wasn’t the best.

Great Italian restaurant towards the edge of town. Great food, great service! Just note that there are 4-5 steps up to the place so not disabled friendly or pushchair friendly, although it's easy, if you're able, to carry a small pushchair up the stairs. There may be another entrance, I didn't ask.

The brothers served us a great Italian meal. Not rhe standard pizza. We had a good dinner. The decor is a bit dated, but that is not a problem of course.

Lovely food and atmosphere would recommend. They fitted 5 of us in without a booking on a busy Friday night and the kids loved the food. Would definitely be back

This restaurant has good pizza and a cosy Italian feel inside. The staff were friendly which is good for customer retention so we will be back.

The food was OK. Decent price. £20 for 2 course meal. Overall it was OK

Decor was dated. We were seated at a tiny table that just barely fit the plates. Salad was good, toasted bread very good. Seafood pasta was very bland, king prawn was very overcooked. No bowls or plates for the seafood shells. We felt rushed and were very surprised to see gratuity added automatically to our bill.

Great Italian food! Recommended! It is an intimate, quiet restaurant, on the edge of the center, so an extra 100m walk, but it is definitely worth it!

Actually it should have 4 stars, but the noise from a very loud bad speaker and waiters who regularly threw empty wine bottles into a bucket right next to our table made it a bad experience overall.

We had a fabulous meal at Bellinis whilst on holiday in the Cotswolds. We had the sea bass and it was a very generous serving in a very tasty sauce. Good service and a lovely atmosphere. We plan to return before we go home!

The best Italian restaurant in UK I ever had. The steak is generally good, but I suggest the Italian style dishes.

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant owned by an Italian gentleman, born in Venice. We enjoyed pasta, minestroni and fish and the the dishes were well presented delicious and authentic. The service was professional and friendly and the staff seemed to care about how well we were enjoying the meal. This is a great option in the Cotswolds.

Lovely experience here while visiting the area. I really enjoyed the salmon risotto. Portions were very well measured as you didn’t leave hungry yet didn’t have food waste or take-away afterwards. Very family/kid friendly with a menu suitable to everyone. Our service was excellent and our server was very personable. Would recommend!

Small Italian restaurant in Morton-in-Marsh. We pre-booked for four. Nice welcome and friendly staff. Decent range on the menu including vegetarian options. The decor was a little dated but not unpleasant. My Calzone (photo) was great although the base was just a little stoggy, lovely filling though. My fellow diners all had vegetarian options (not pizza), they said their food tasted great but the portions were a little on the small size. I (and two others) had the pistachio cheesecake; on arrival the waiter apologised for the look (photo) but said the taste should compensate. I can confirm the taste did indeed compensate - it was delicious. The prices were reasonable. We would all be happy to return, especially if that cheesecake was on offer.

I ordered the salmon risotto which was disappointing, there was little salmon and hardly any asparagus and was a little under cooked we also ordered the lasagne which was good. We did not like that the service charge was already included in the bill a lot of folk were not spotting this i prefer to tip in cash what we feel is correct.

We were passing by the area and stopped at Bellini restaurant for lunch -the food was amazing and great value for money with excellent service. Worths a visit.

Wonderful Christmas Dinner had here.

We came here on a Monday evening for a meal for two. For the main we had salmon with asparagus, sea bass. The food was nice but a bit on the small size. We also ordered take away pizza. On the outside of the restaurant, a lunch special (2 or 3 course meal) was displayed which was deceptive as it wasn’t relevant given we were having an evening meal - be careful not to get trapped like we did with this false advertising. I was also a little annoyed at the waiter who was quick to try and settle the bill once we had finished the meal - he could’ve been a more subtle rather than peering at us like a hawk - clearly aware we’re not from the area and eager to pounce. Overall, you’ll do a lot better by choosing one of the other many other decent more reasonably priced restaurants in the area compared to what we paid (105 pounds for two for two mains, entre, two glasses of wine and pizza.)

We visited for lunch today and had a great time. The staff were friendly and gave attentive service. Burrata starter was delicious, as were the pasta mains, especially my GF carbonara. Hubby enjoyed his affogato and limoncello served with the bill was a nice touch. Will definitely visit again!

Had a pizza (Supreme), good size, tasty and hot. Hope to try more of the menu next time.

My experience at this place was incredible! I was visiting Morton with friends and we accidentally stumbled upon this place and were absolutely satisfied with the decision. The food here is really good - we tried the pasta, breads and sea food stew, and service was spot on. Their house red wine hits you well and takes you off your feet. The staff is very polite and attentive which is always welcomed. They play Italian classics and the acoustic is pitch perfect, i.e., while you can hear the music and lyrics and it doesn't interrupt the conversations on your table. The interiors are also tastefully done! Do visit if you can 😊

Very nice restaurant. The food was good but not great. All the starters we ordered were nice except for the ministrone soup which we didn't like (we ordered burrata, mozzarella sticks and chili-garlic king prawns bruschetta). The salmon risotto was pretty good, but it lacked salt, but we didn't much like the salmon linguini. The seafood linguini lacked a bit of flavor to my taste (and some parmesan/salt).

Nothing to merit a visit sadly. Decoration and furnishings from the 1980s- it has just had a bad paint job and a giant plant added since it was a Balti house a few months ago. Food bland and basic. Staff functional at best. No warmth or care just blunt communication- clearly wanted be somewhere else. Everything is clearly being done on the cheap. ASK across the street is light years better and that is saying something. So… thinking of visiting ? Don’t bother.

Great, un-fussy Italian food in Moreton-in-Marsh. Can't really recommend the truffle arancini, but the veg pizza and seafood linguine were both excellent (very flavorful tomato sauce!) Service was quick, and overall dinner experience was very good.

We ate dinner at this lovely Italian restaurant two evenings during our short visit to Moreton in Marsh. We are from NYC USA. The appetizers and mains were delicious and the staff very friendly. We highly recommend Bellini.

Great Italian spot with really friendly owner. We had a really nice time here. The lasagna and blu chicken were great. We would definitely go back if we are in Moreton on Marsh again.

Great food in a quaint little restaurant with very friendly staff. A good range of dishes, which were delicious. It quickly filled up so I recommend booking, which can be done online.

This place was a beautiful little gem of a find, after being turned away by the snivelly-faced woman in ASK Italian, we found this place about 100m further down the road and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. The food was outstanding and the service and atmosphere were more than you could ask for! Would go out of my way to recommend and return!

They change your order to what they want and expect you to accept it. In response to the restaurant comments, for clarification no complimentary drinks were offered. 10% off was only offered on the specific dish. We were not asked to leave, we left on our own as the owner was arguing with us regarding why the pasta makes no difference. What a horrible dinning experience. Also ironically the restaurant was empty which is a sign the restaurant is not upto standard.

Tried here this evening for dinner and it was ok. Prawn starter was good. The antipasti, although a good sized portion for one person, it didn't come with the mozzarella which was on the menu. Seemed to come with hard parmasean cheese instead. It also didn't come with the bread that it was supposed to so I had to ask for it. I wish I had been told if there was no mozzarella and I wouldn't have ordered it. I also ordered the lasagna as my main and although it was nice, it was about 50% cheese which was all congealed on the top and inedible. Also I think a service charge was added onto the receipt without us realising so we then left an extra tip as we didn't realise it had already been included!

5 stars for the food and, for the first half of the evening, 5 stars for attentive service. Midway through my dining experience, everything changed, as if a switch had been flicked. The wait staff no longer made eye contact or checked up on whether I needed anything. The dessert that I had ordered seemed to take too long to arrive, so I stopped a passing waiter to enquire about the delay. He said he would look into it, and in a few minutes I was informed that my choice of dessert was unavailable. I was given an "on the house" alternative, and that was very good. I then asked for my bill, and that took a while to arrive. I paid cash that included a 12.5% tip. I usually tip higher when service is good, but on this occasion, in my opinion, it was not deserved. What could and should have been an excellent dining experience was not.

Nice little Italian, food ok but not great. Service was basic. Calamari starter was bland and was frozen food. Dissapointing that they did not have any parmesan cheese to put on top of the spaghetti, very strange. Not worth the 10% added service charged added on.

Good decor. Food was good and well presented. The waiting staff were attentive.
