Belmont Bay in Harrow

Don’t bother ordering online through their website thinking you will get a discounted price as they don’t honour the order even after taking the money when the order is placed online. So had to order in person again when went to collect order after they insisted no order existed despite being given the order number. We were then charged way more than we originally paid for less, as discovered when unpacking the food that we had a piece of fish that had been requested left off the order. Tried to call about the error with order but they couldn’t even be bothered to answer the phone. Very shoddy customer service and in my opinion a rip off. Not even nice food after all that hassle.

My favourite Fish & Chips delivered. Gluten Free Tuesday/Wednesday is the one for me! I think it’s great you have this Gluten Free option. The Fish & Chips are always 10/10 delicious and arrive hot and fresh every time. I highly recommend Belmont Bay, especially if you’re looking for great tasting Gluten Free Fish & Chips. Tasty fish & chips & sides with soft drinks served by staff in a clean environment. However customers are penalised by having to pay a Fee for the use of an Amex card which is not acceptable!

Always on their window, "best fish & chip shop in London". Have looked on the Fish & Chip shop website, you weren't even mentioned unless you have started your own awards competition.

Came here to eat fish and chips. The guy behind counter made my Fish and chips fresh for me ! Thank you !! And everything was really good !!!

I placed an order for delivery and specifically requested just lettuce on my burger. The order turned up and my burger had all the salad on it.Made my burger wet and cold. This now the 3rd time this has happened and I have also had 2 pies arrive stone cold,we was told by the shop to heat it up ourselves. Now this place isn't cheap the least they can do is get the order correct and make sure the food is hot

Really looked forward to trying “The best in London”. What a let down. Chips weren’t cooked through, fish very dry and the hallumi in pitta had salad dropped on the top of it so that it was a big wet soggy mess. White House in Stanmore, Skip jacks in Queensbury are far superior to this.

Great local fish and chips shop. Ordered over the phone for skinless and got the meal ready in 15 min. Wonderful staff and an efficient service. ²

The best chippy I have ever been to. Great food and great service. On our way to central London from Birmingham took a detour to Belmont Bay just to treat my son to the best chips shops chips I have evr eaten!

I had an order from Belmont Bay on Thursday 30th September, night via Uber Eats, my order included a Cornish Pasty. My complaint is that the pasty was out of date. The date on the pasty was 21.09.21, but it was delivered with my order on 30.09.21, so 9 days out of date!!!

Friendly staff and authentic fish 'n' chip shop. Skate was so fresh and a decent portion of chips. Have a loyalty scheme and also do kebabs which I've not tried as yet.

Probably the best fish and chips in the area. Very fresh and not greasy . However I was disappointed with the Shish Kebab. A very small portion , dry and not tasty ( also a bit expensive i thought ) anyway ,my fault I guess for ordering a Kebab in a fish restaurant . I repeat , Fish and Chips are top notch.

this is a fish and chippy. Currently take away only. So most questions do not apply. i found the fish fresh, well fried, and reasonably priced. She who must be obeyed raves about the chips. Given my sylph like figure I refrain from chips. Cannot recommend it enough. I will go again and again and again

Kebabs arrived cold. The stingiest portion sizes I’ve ever seen for a large doner and regular chicken shish. 4 small pieces of chicken. Each also had literally a teaspoon of chilli/garlic sauce despite asking in order for the full works. Could count the number of salad pieces on both hands With chips being forgotten as well it was a fairly disappointing meal. Recent reviews have been poor but gave benefit of doubt. Won’t order again seeing as they are one of the more expensive offerings with high delivery fees.

When you order and the restaurant accepts the order and confirms it is in transit, then surprisingly can’t find your address with no further contact. Deliveroo confirmed no problem with the address, restaurant declined ! Don’t trust this restaurant to deliver!!!

This chippy is definitely the best .. The service is great even on a Friday night when the shop is at it's busiest .. even on Valentines Day... It's so popular that there are deliveries being picked up all the time.. Try it you will not be disappointed....

Brilliant sustainable sourced fish. Menu is varied. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Use this place often

This fish and chip shop is my local and I have a least 1 meal each week. Food is well prepared and presented. Staff is quick and friendly. Good food, good service.

This place has recently been voted in the top 20 in the UK, so we went to check it out and get a takeaway. The cod was beautiful - firm and flavourful, with crisp batter that wasn't oily at all. The same description works for the chips too! The saveloy was top quality too; possibly the best I've had. The portions were generous and the price very reasonable. So yes, I'm very happy!

We used to buy our weekly fish and chips at an alternative restaurant. After decreasing quality we started to buy from Belmont Bay, lovely food and we noticed a key member of staff had joined the team. Hot tasty food and lovely staff. Highly recommended.

Read they had been short-listed for fish and chip shop of the year, was passing nearby the next day, so popped in for lunch.I had skate which is difficult to find these days and partner had rock which is equally rare. Both cooked to order and really fresh. Asked for one portion of chips to share and there were still too many.Staff charming and friendly, premises small but very clean. All-in-all we will be returning.

Haven't been here for 30+ years! It's changed a bit. Fast 'sparky' service and a willingness to get you exactly what you want as quickly as possible. As we ordered we asked if we could eat at one of the tables. No problem, and they brought over proper cutlery and didn't charge extra. The fish (haddock and cod) was universally liked and the chips quite chunky but cooked in a light oil so took on vinegar very well.Price lower than expected - quality above expectation.

I visit this fish and chips shop on Wednesday with my family The shop is very clean and offers limited seating. The fish is fresh and cooked to order. I must add that this is the best fish and chip shop in Middlesex (Harrow). The fish is so fresh that it melts in your mouth. The chips are chunk and delicious all served in cardboard box. The staff are eager to serve you with a smile. I would highly recommend this fish and chips shop. The only drawback is they only accept cash payments. Looking forward to visit it again

For the best fresh chippie you will ever find make your way to Belmont Circle between Harrow and Stanmore. The medium cod is enormous and sooo good.

The company gave us an afternoon party however company didn’t want to take us out to restaurant. One of the colleagues suggested this fish & chips.

Was passing this place and have always meant to try it as they do gluten free on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. As luck would have it, it was Wednesday and I was hungry!

No es sólo el pescado que es de alta calidad, pero las patatas fritas, Mi preferencia es para el abadejo y tendrá dificultades para montaje en un plato. Las patatas fritas también son de buen tamaño y siempre caliente, ni siquiera suerte cálidos. Como un restaurante para llevar que puedes pedir con antelación nunca hay tiempo para esperar en la cola que invariablemente encontrar si no. El pescado es a diario desde Escocia y es, sin duda, el mejor por millas alrededor.

Had takeaway from here numerous times, times it was really good, times it was OK but got a takeaway from here this evening and the chips were disgusting. A lukewarm soggy mess.....will definitely try elsewhere from now on

El Fish and chips" en Belmont ha tenido una buena reputación por más de 40 años, así que era bueno para encontrar en una reciente visita a mi ciudad natal que todavía sirve excelente pescado y patatas fritas. Pescado estaba bien preparado a pedido y servido caliente. Las patatas fritas también eran geniales, no grasa pero bien hecha. Ten cuidado si que hay grandes porciones para su dinero. Se puede comer en si quieres pero nos trajimos a casa romantico. Así que me alegro que todavía sirven una gran comida para llevar. Los precios parecían estándar para la zona, pero es más caro de lo que pagas en el West Country.

Excellent fish and chips.However, having a rummage in one's nose in full view of customers has to be the dumbest action one could do (dark hair, very dark eyes) before serving meal.
