Delivery was really early despite terrible weather. It took me a couple of minutes to answer the door and the driver was so patient and polite. Food was also great.

Staff and location and pricing are great, the food choices I got were big in portion, which is wonderful, but I'd trade a bit of portion size for food quality, and this would be my go to spot. The paneer was soaked in oil and tasted old, the keema was sooo much onion. I'd definitely try again with one of the other dishes, and if it's better I'd improve my rating. Perhaps I just ordered some bad dishes. Side note, but perhaps worth the warning for some: unfortunately their to go boxes/bags are also not secure. Orange oil leaked out of the paper top of the to-go box and the paper to-go bag and ruined my white jacket, countertop, and floor.

Fantastic. Coming from Manchester, but now living in London, I've been missing the Curry Mile. I'm so glad to have found Bengal Indian! We ate too much, but couldn't stop as we wanted to try a bit of everything.

Never disappoints! The food is incredibly tasty and great value, they are more than happy to cater to any of your needs and tweak dishes for you. The waiter Amin is incredibly welcoming and friendly, we love him! Would recommend the sizzling dishes, yum! Meat is good quality which I often find lacks in other Indian restaurants. Best all round Indian in Crouch End by a mile (maybe even north London, although can’t claim to have tried them all!)

Meal took an hour to arrive. I ordered thali thinking that the food might be organised in a way that resembles a takeaway version of a restaurant thali. Three huge bags of the usual foil boxes, not organised at all.

I am a regular customer and I was very disappointed on this occasion. I find it difficult to enjoy the curry without the onion salad and the chutneys with the food which on this occasion did not arrive with the meal. Also the Bhajis were dry and overcooked. I love this restaurant and the fact they overlooked it was a mistake that ruined the meal. However the quality was excellent so I cannot give them anything less than 5 stars. I hope they read this and try and not make the same mistake again.

Driver left food on doorstep. Garlic naan had no garlic and both main dishes were inedible , horribly sweet . Very very disappointed and hungry!!

We thought we would try this restaurant out after reading all the excellent Google reviews and it did not disappoint!! We had an exceptional dining experience m. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The service was impeccable from start to finish, and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. Very generous portions for excellent value. I have to say it’s one of the best curry’s I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back!!

Me and my other half dined here last night for the first time ever for her birthday and as soon as we walked in I knew this place was going to be good but walking out after our meal i was proved wrong.. It was AMAZING! The food ,The price,The atmosphere and the service was everything a customer wants from a restaurant and more! To be fair I'm only sad I'm unable to rate this place higher in all honesty.. Maximum points go to this establishment hands down! You've made a regular out of me guys! Keep doing what you do.. It works!

Orderd a delivery in good faith. No one turned up yet after a promising 1 hour delivery, it has been 1h20 minutes. No communication at all.

Have been ordering through Uber eats for a few months and 60% of the deliveries arrive like this (ordered about 7 orders in last few months) There are simple solutions that management don’t want to fix clearly Food quality is good though, just shame about the delivery. Be warned!

This is the 3rd time I order food from this restaurant in 5 weeks. I am aways happy with the food, however, this time there was one papadum to share for the 3 of us.

Great food here. Everything was full of flavour and the service was so friendly. If you like a milder dish the Nazmin Makani was absolutely delicious. We ordered 2 appetisers, 2 mains both with rice, 2 poppadom (comes with a tray of very tasty dips) 1 paratha and a side of Chana masala. Good sized portions of everything. All for just under £40. They also boxed up the leftovers for us to take away. If we return to the area we will definitely visit again.

Great first visit here when visiting the Picturehouse. Managed to get a table for 2 with no problems on a Sat night. Quick and friendly service and super attentive. Started with prawn puree and an onion bhaji - very tasty and a large portion! When we shared a king prawn dupiaza and a lamb tikka shashlik buna with lemon rice, garlic naan and saag paneer. Currys were very tasty - a touch too much tomato and oil for my liking, plus the lamb was a touch tough. Saag paneer lacked much texture and quite soupy but still v tasty. Great drinks and sides too. We were super impressed to find out the total bill was around £42!! Such great value. Thanks for a great me.

We ordered chicken tikka masala, vegetable balti with rice, onion bhajis, samosas & dips. They kindly sent some complimentary sides. All food was tasty and decent portions. Will order from then again.

An absolute gem of a place. It is such a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, with incredibly friendly staff who make us feel welcome on every visit. The food is absolutely scrumptious, good sized portions and a huge selection on the menu. If you like curry, I would 100% recommend!

This place was recommended so went there to try their food. Ordered a Vegetable Dansak, Aloo Chat, Peshwari nan and poppadoms. The meals was superb, asked them to make the dansak hotter and it was brilliant. Their peshwari nan was the best ever had and the aloo chat was delicious. The poppadoms were fresh and crispy and they included a free onion salad plus mango chutney. The staff were polite and attentive. It's also very good value, will be going there again tonight for a takeaway.

I ordered a Lamb Biryani for delivery. Despite living only a few minutes away, it took over 1.5 hours to arrive. When it finally came, turns out they had given me Chicken Biryani instead.

The service was excellent. The food was tasty but too oily. The air-conditioning was on but not very effective.

This was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Naga chilli chicken dish, the chicken korma (much milder), and the pappadom with mango chutney. Sooo good.

I ordered lamb biriyani which was a solid 6/10, garlic Naan was nice 7/10, paratha was burnt 0/10, chicken tikka butter chicken was too sweet and had a vile taste 0/10 will not be ordering again as a whole

I have been going to this restaurant regularly for several years and have enjoyed many nice meals there. The food is quite good and they try hard to please. But they used to have some special offers on Sunday and on one day during the week. However, now they have cancelled all the special offers they used to have. Unfortunately the result of that is that I have virtually stopped going there at all as the special offers were a significant attraction for me. Many, if not most Indian restaurants, still have special offers and I am now having to go to the others.

Friendly staff, tasty food, good prices. The staff were happy to give guidance on what food would suit us both, even varying the spice in the vegetarian Rogan Josh for me and recommending a garam nagari for my partner. We went on a Saturday night, and while the restaurant was very quiet there was a steady stream of takeaway orders showing their good reputation for food. I'd forgotten how much cheaper than ordering a takeaway via one of the big websites! The naan was a highlight coming crispy out of the oven. The muttar paneer was exactly what I wanted, and the starters were nicely presented with what appeared to be a raspberry glaze and a small salad. There were many vegetarian options that looked interesting.

We went first time last Saturday and it was that nice, we went again this Saturday. My fella who's not a great lover of dining out thinks we should go every Saturday-that's how nice it is. Cannot fault the service, the food or the price - EXCELLENT

You can do a lot worse than Bengal Tandoori. I've flirted with other local curry houses but have settled here. For vegan food I do abscond to Healthy Wealthy occasionally. Price Vs quality is good. I'm still discovering new decent menu choices. Vegetable baigun labra is outstanding if you want a veg and lentil dish in one and like aubergine. Veg Rogan is also a cracker. Some dishes, like Pathia come with rice included which is super good value. Vegetable dome dish I avoided for ages as it sounded boring but is also good (from what I remember). Oh, and they do vegetable shashlik which is like tandooried veg. Amazing. Chaat starter is also a winner. My partner, Lady Portions is less adventurous but has always been happy with her chicken tikka biryani or tandoori chicken. Naans are good. Try onion, chili or garlic for a change. Seem better when sitting in as they're hot straight outta the tandoor. Sadly, I don't think they do puddings. I call directly for delivery as I can't get on with those delivery apps.

If you are looking for the tasty indian foods with reasonable price around Crouch End, then Bengal is the solution for u . Try their amina special biryani with pickle hint makes it so delicious. Quick delivery and the guy on telephone is nice n helpful a big yes will use em again !!

This is a fabulous family run little restaurant. The food is great and reasonably priced and you will recognise many old favourites. Everything is made hot and fresh and the service is excellent. Plus, if you're tired and you can't afford the Uber ride home, the bus stop is just outside!

Absolutely delightful. So delicious, best curry place around if you ask me. The naga curry was spectacular. Portions are generous and full of meat. The butter chicken was also very tasty. Not got a bad thing to say! Would love to go in person soon. Will be ordering regularly from them.

I have tried my fair amount of Indian Restaurants in London, but I have got to say, this is by far superior to all the other ones I have tried. The food is excellent and there is a great variety on the menu (perfect to suit all diets). The pricing is so fair, but the highlight of this restaurant is the service. The warm and friendly service adds the special touch. We have eaten both at the restaurant and as a take away via direct delivery at home. Both experiences have been ten out of ten. Highly recommend the Darjeeling Dome!

Been eating from different Indian places in the local area my entire life, but this one somehow flew under my radar until recently… and wow, it’s by far the best in the area and I would argue among the best in the city. Really quality Indian food and excellent service, and better value for money than most restaurants in London. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Ate here for the first time tonight and the whole experience has been incredible! Prices and portions are great. Some dishes are named after family members which is such a nice touch and honestly, everything was so tasty and flavourful. Can't fault customer service either, Amin was 10/10. Not a bad word to say! Looking forward to eating there again 👏🏼

Love this place! Come here atleast once a week. The food is delicious. Highly recommend the Chicken Shashlick Bhuna. The service is impeccable if you dine in or you can get free home delivery. Lots of extras thrown in for free as well. And to top it off, it's all very affordable.

I have been going there for years the food is getting worse there is no flavour and full of what looks like water

Been a couple of times now, first time was excellent food, waiter is a legend. We then came back a couple of months later and it was excellent again, same dude, same food 5* for sure

This is surprisingly good! The staff are so kind and friendly and once you get past the slightly odd tiled exterior, you find yourself in a nice, well appointed, well lit dining space. The food is great and the bills always reasonable. I absolutely love the naan bread - it is perfection, thin and crispy but somehow pale and puffy at one and the same time and they serve it piping hot and bring more as soon as you ask. This is traditional Indian food, served with a smile - with a very broad menu that you will easily recognise and enjoy consuming. P. S. It's also only 10 yards from the bus stop and for those with bus passes its the next best thing to an easy uber ride home!

I ordered now via Uber eats. It was quick and the taste is wonderful, portions are good , fantastic representation of bengal Indian cuisine for non indian people. We loved it and we will try more of your delicious food

They don't have many vegan options but they're honest about what is and isn't and they really nice about it too. Just explain you're vegan and the guy I usually speak to will guide you through. The tarka Dahl is delish.

Ordered from here many times. Always fresh, always delicious. Ordered directly from the restaurant today and the young man taking orders was friendly and professional. He even delivered our food himself in about 20 minutes. Great service and great food!

Disappointing experience sadly, especially after reading all the wonderful reviews! Firstly my drink and mango chutney was missing, and the food took ages to arrive and when it finally did most of it was cold. I also found a short dark hair in the mint sauce dip which really put me off. The food itself wasn’t very nice, it was very oily / greasy and lacking flavour entirely, so much so I had to discard it and order another Indian from a different place. Fair to say I won’t be ordering from here again.

I have walked by this place for years and it looked like a no go but after a few friends said try it, I was like why havent I eaten here for years and the prices are great. I love Tiffin Tin down the road too but that place is a rip off. Also it is just not the usual, they have some really interesting dishes and the portions are a good size. Dal is a bit too runny but otherwise this is now my go to place. I do advise doing pick up and giving them a bit extra time as they were late the last two times so I always leave it about 5+ minutes after they say and that works out perfect. I loved the Veggie tahli , some of the chicken dishes (tikka was a bit average so miss that one out) garlic nan was nice. I would not eat in there as it just doesnt look like that nice of atmosphere but the perfect for take out

I ordered from deliveroo tonight. The food that arrived was terrible, the tandoori mixed grill meat was clearly out of date, the pakora were all burnt, the onion bhajis rock hard and dry. I'd never order here again, I'd accept food not tasting great, but to send out food that is clearly out of date and past its shelf life is criminal and disgraceful for a restaurant! It all went in the bin, if I could give zero stars, I would.

Food excellent, but delivery takes forever to arrive. So for that I'm giving 3 stars.

I really did enjoy the food, very tasty! Only downside was the service - we were kept waiting for our drinks for ages, we had even finished our starters before we received them, and then to top it off the chefs and waiter were all shouting and arguing with each other and the whole restaurant could hear. Could see they were really busy, but was still shocked that this was happening whilst they had customers, it made me feel quite uncomfortable. Back to the food though, and I’ve no complaints at it, it was lovely, full of flavour and plenty of it! Will definitely be returning! I’m sure they were just under stress that day and I won’t let it put me off from eating excellent food! :-) I’m also giving them 5 stars as I feel they deserve it and that they were just under enormous pressure!

Absolutely delicious everytime! I'm happily working my way through the menu and so far no disappointment! Friendly staff happy to advise, hot fresh food delivered on time! Complementary crunchy poppadom with onion salad and dipping sauce just amazing! Today I ordered the king prawn tandoori tikka, white rice and plain naan! Sooo tasty! Cant wait to try more! Xx

Staff used to be very nice here however they have been very rude lately since an older man has been taking over service. Can't complain about the quality of the food but the rudeness is making me question my custom here
