Berberè Pizzeria London in Lambeth

Fomos de propósito a Clapham para experimentar este restaurante pois tínhamos lido numa revista que a pizza era maravilhosa. E de facto, é a melhor pizza napolitana que comemos na vida!!! Vale todo o trabalho da deslocação até lá! Comemos uma Diavolla divinal, bem crocante, picante como gostamos e com ingredientes ótimos. Nem em Nápoles comi uma pizza tão boa! O empregado era uma simpatia. Parabéns! Iremos voltar de certeza!!

Cenamos allí anoche. Lugar sin pretensiones con una cálida bienvenida. Pizzas a precios razonables servidas con música italiana como fondo. Ahora, vamos a las pizzas. Base de masa madre ligera con queso y ingredientes. Cocinado a la perfección. Te resultará difícil encontrar una pizza mejor en Londres. Muy recomendable y digno de marcas completas. P.D. - y para coronarlo todo - porque era el día del padre - mi pinta estaba en la casa!

Had some pizzas here for dinner and they were nice. Good selection to choose from. Wine list was quite good. Nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly.

Absolutely delicious food, lovely service and just couldn’t recommend more! We went for a bite to eat before going to Clapham Picturehouse opposite and it was perfect.

Had a lovely welcome by a front of house staff member, and me and my partner had the Burrata & Nduja + 4 Formaggi. Was the perfect size, well cooked and the dips are a necessity for the crust! Great date night venue and dog friendly ! 🐾

We really enjoyed the pizza, however when we first arrived we weren’t served for 45 minutes and the parties around us were served very quickly. We assumed they had forgotten about us. Then we ate our food, and asked for the bill and again waited 45 minutes to have anyone serve us. We tried to get the waiters attention on both occasions but to no avail. We ended up being there for 2 and a half hours and the table next to us had two parties come in after us and order their food eat and leave in the time we were there. Not sure why it happened - maybe our table wasn’t in anyone’s section. Either way would order the pizza again because it was yum but wouldn’t go back to the restaurant.

I had my birthday dinner last night with around 30 people here. The service was amazing, the staff were so nice & the pizzas were insane. Thank you so much!!

Came here as we’ve been wanting to try for a while and the pizza options looked amazing, however we were especially disappointed. The pizza base itself was hard and tasted almost stale. It was very dry and the taste resembled at best, eating cardboard. The toppings were virtually none existence. One pizza was “smoked mozzarella” but firstly, you couldn’t even barely see the cheese as it was so scarce. Secondly, the taste did not highlight the “smoked” cheese which came at an additional cost of £1 for the honour of having of smoked and not original. The Nduja on my pizza was burnt and again there was barely any cheese on mine. It definitely needed sauces to cover up the dryness of the pizza, which should not be a consideration as most Italian pizzas which are authentic are anything but dry and stingy. Final comment to make - the tomato base was a very thin layer as if the restaurant was scared to run out of ingredients. In all honesty this place was average at best and I wouldn’t bother to return.

Visited based on compelling reviews. Highly traveled in the US and have done pizza road trips through the North East in the past. We know pizza. This was tough, dry pizza bread. You’d be better off at Pizza Express. Don’t get it at all.

Second time that I went to Berbere with a group of friends and I just love it. Pizza is delicious and the atmosphere is super nice. Special thanks to Amirah and Layla who went the extra mile to make our night a bit more special. Thank you ladies!! Highly recommend the place👍👍👌😊

These are the best pizza’s in London. Our go to eatery every time we visit London. All pizza’s good but I can’t get enough of the Rocket, Buffola and Prosuitto. It’s delicious.

Diavola picante is delicious, you have to get the nduja honey sauce also. Have this with a beer. Follow with a tiramisu, I have yet to try but it has been recommended many times. Service is absolutely top class. Owner/manager is s gentleman. My favourite restaurant in Clapham hands down.

We stopped here for lunch and was drawn in by the special offer for a pizza and soft drink for £10.00. A great choice and the pizza menu was really different from other establishments. We choose two pizza's and shared them both. The restaurant soon filled up with locals and business people which gave a lovely atmosphere. The pizza was really fresh and tasty.

They have Very tasty pizza and a great customer service! Worth trying and we will definitely visit again!

Always reluctant to review a one off visit however this was our second lunch here within a month and the experience here on both occasions was excellent. Pics are from both visits. Pizzas are delicious and have generous tasty toppings and the bases have proper sour dough character. Staff are friendly and attentive. Go here...it’s bloody good

This is a real Italian with 14 restaurants in Italy and one in Clapham. A true blessing. I have made pizza and have had, by my estimate, over a thousand pizzas. Berbere is among if not, the very best!!! Unassuming but quaint, efficient and friendly service and all the sides are well worth it! I can not wait to return!
