Bermondsey Garden in Southwark

Me lo paso de maravilla en este café no lejos de Tower Bridge. Realmente disfruto de mi almuerzo gracias y lugar tranquilo. Recomendable vendrá de nuevo Gracias!

Odio hacer esto ya que este lugar es local a donde vivo y he estado yendo allí dentro y fuera durante años. Tengo que advertir a la gente que la comida no es fresca. Tomamos un par de cafés hoy junto con un bollo de canela de la ventana cuando llegó estaba duro como una roca y desmoronado lo enviamos de vuelta y pedimos uno fresco. Escuchamos a la camarera preguntarle al chef cuáles de ellos eran frescos, él respondió que no sabía , ella regresó y se ofreció a devolvernos nuestro dinero que no apareció. Cuando pedimos el reembolso ella nos dio el dinero. Sin disculpas, sin admitir que vender comida vieja y vieja. Ahora no me importa que la gente compre pasteles de ayer por un descuento o por lo menos sabiendo que eran de calidad inferior, pero en este caso se venden ahora mismo a precio completo sin remordimientos. Así que si vas allí, compra comida, ten cuidado. Les di 2 estrellas ya que el café estaba bien

First visit and great food and service. Have walked past here many times and glad I made it in today for breakfast. I'll be back soon.

I’m obsessed with this cafe! The best French toast I’ve ever had and a great range of other options on the menu. Cute decor inside and staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I’ve been coming here for over a year and always look forward to my next visit.

I went to this café today for breakfast on a Saturday. It is quite close to me and it has changed hands a number of times over the years, but I noticed that they serve shack Shuka. On the menus that have been uploaded here the cost was £8.50, but I see that the cost has no reason to £10.50 which is a pretty sizable increase, the café was very busy and I was lucky to get a seat. It was a little bit noisy which might suit some by didn’t suit me particularly but that isn’t really a criticism. The shack Shuka was very nice. The toast was a little hard to cut, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly, I enjoyed the visit but would’ve preferred to have paid £8.50. Inflation is running high at the moment I know but not 20%. The staff were polite and the people working in the kitchen are working hard and doing a good job. Will I go back? Maybe. excuse my spelling of shack Shuka that is all down to Siri.

I’m so glad the team here have made something really special of this slightly off the beaten track part of Bermondsey Street, it really is worth a special trip up past long Lane. The team really care about their business and it shows, they always have a nice smile and a bit of chat, the food is fresh, tasty and uncommonly reasonably priced - yesterday we had a chicken and cheese toasted baguette, couple of coffees and a juice for £15 - lovely brunch. The coffee is great and really well presented. There is masses of outside space for tables I hope the council allow this to continue as it raises the area up so much In true spinal tap style I’d give it six stars if I could :)

Lovely owners and staff. The food was excellent , cooked to perfection. Great choices on the menu. Will definitely be back when down in London from Glasgow .

Visited for Saturday brunch. A little off the beaten track, this cafe can be found just off the Tower Bridge Road end of Bermondsey Street. They have a good selection of breakfast items, healthy salads, cakes and drinks. Food is tasty and nicely presented. Prices are good for this part of town snd service was swift and friendly. This place was very busy on the day of our visit and there was a friendly, buzzy atmosphere. Definitely worth venturing away from the crowds along the river or Bermondsey Street for a visit👌

Nicely prepared & presented sandwiches, good selection of pastries & Teas by Teapig. Wide selection of non-dairy milk alternatives
