We held our child's first birthday party and I was beyond impressed by Bertie and Boo Adventure Island. The staff were wonderful, they had such attention to detail (whisking away the gifts to the gift table, beautiful presentation of the cakes we brought) and made our event just the perfect occasion. Thank you so much!

Bertie and Boo hosted my sons 4th birthday and it was a roaring success. It was wonderful to see the upgraded play space. The kids had an absolute blast. Boo our entertainer was hilarious and had the children and adults in hysterics during the magic show. Sam our host looked after us so well- nothing was too much trouble all of our guests were offered drinks and everything was taken care of - meaning we could enjoy the party and catch up with parents properly- a rarity ! It will be a party that we remember for years to come..

Bertie was fantastic with the little ones and adults alike. They were completely engaged from the get go. The party ran completely smoothly and the parents were full of compliments regarding the whole setup.

Bertie and Boo is such a wonderful place to have a party. I’ve had two children’s parties there and it is always slightly different. They really make an effort to make each party unique, and boy are they entertaining! Thank you for making it such a special day.

This was my son's first time birthday celebration. We had just been once to BertieandBoo for a single session and we feel in love with the place and how Sam treats every guest! We decided to have Aarins 5th Birthday at to my surprise they nailed it!! Every parent,my friends and family in that party really liked the way they were taken care of by the team be it with drinks, food along taking care of kids. Like I can't thank much for BertieandBoo to make my son's birthday magical and fun filled for every kid present there. Food was good and the around service was excellent 👌 beyond words. I would definitely take my kids often for play but for sure my second son's birthday too! Not to forget it was super clean and help needed a team member was ready to help, team took care of decore, food, keeping the kids busy I mean we just had to go there and handover cake simple as that. Can't thank much but a through professional and very approachable team thank you soo much. I recommend them with eyes close. Huge love for the team x

We LOVE parties at Bertie and Boo! They did a great job with 24 children ranging from 2yo-6yo for our son’s 3rd birthday yesterday! It amazes us how much they manage to fit into 1.5 hours, and they were super accommodating with last minute number changes and food choices too! Even our 6yo loved it so much that she wants her next birthday party there too!

Brilliant pirate themed play area! Clean and fun for both my 3 and 1 year olds. Excellent cup of coffee too. Lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a wet day. We’ll be back.

Always worth a visit when I'm in the area, my two adore Bertie and Boos Adventure Island. There's plenty to keep the kids occupied in the soft play area, with tasty food, and refreshing drinks to re fuel them before they head off back round again. There's an extensive range of hot drinks as well, with friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you choose what you want to try next. Can't wait for our next visit!

Bertie and Boo is a fantastic place to have a little break for me and my son . The coffee is very good. My son loves to run around and Climbing. We shared a 3rd birthday party at Bertie and Boo with our NcT friends. It was really brilliant and incredibly stress free. The staff were so attentive to the little jobs so we could relax and chat to other parents and spend time with our little ones. the entertainment was fast paced so avoided any play fighting or melt downs and everyone was accommodated with dietary etc. No mess to clear up after and a very professional set up, thank you to all the team and entertainers, the children loved the magic show and disco and went home very happy!

My girls had a wonderful birthday party at Bertie and Boo. The service was fantastic and our entertainer 'Bertie' was great with the children. Celebrating at a purpose-built soft play centre made the experience very easy -- we just had to turn up with the cake! 4 rather than 5 stars due to price -- it's not the cheapest soft play option. Overall, a lovely experience!

Willow had such a great time at her 4th birthday party. The disco, games and magic show were amazing and Boo kept all the kids engaged (and laughing) for the entire session! I haven’t personally been here but any place that takes allergies seriously gets 5 stars. I’ve had someone close to me have a fatal allergic reaction to their food because a restaurant didn’t take the allergy seriously. The parents giving low star reviews are being entitled and selfish, you can pay an extra 5 pounds and keep everyone’s child safe.

One of the best soft plays I've been to! Staff are welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Menu prices are fair compared to other places like this and the overall atmosphere was amazing. They serve a great coffee that isn't heavily watered down like they usually are and food selection is good. Beautiful toilet facilities and everything was clean! Would strongly recommend this place to people with babies and toddlers as there is quite a lot to do with them

Wouldn't recommend. Very overpriced softplay for a place that does not have any actual toys aside for some blocks. You also are not allowed to bring in food, and only able to order off of their menu because of "allergies" all though they have loads of allergens on the menu. Also no food allowed for babies under 1. Totstars in streathem hill is much better and not to far away!

My daughter had such a great time here today. The staff was so lovely and very understanding My daughter is autistic the music was slightly too loud and she found it abit distressing I explained to one of the staff members and he was more than happy to turn the music down. I bought my daughter lunch there today as they don’t allow outside foods due to allergies reasons They only had cheese sandwiches on display so I had asked if there was any other type of sandwiches and the staff was more than happy to make any other type of sandwich my daughter wanted. We had my child's third birthday party at Bertie & Boo Adventure Island over the weekend, and it was a great success! A bit of free play, followed by a little disco, lunch and birthday cake, and then a magic show to round things off. The kids had a fantastic time, and 'Bertie' did an excellent job entertaining them and keeping the party flowing, while the rest of the team were bringing coffees to the parents, and the kids romped around. The whole thing was really upbeat, colourful, enthusiastic and never boring. It was so nice to have such minimal stress for a party. We just brought the cake along, and that was it! So easy. My child has been asking constantly to go back and play some more since the party ended, which I think is indicative of a highly successful event. All in all, a fabulous party! Thank you so much.

I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the family of Bertie and Boo , i just had my twin girls 6th Birthday party there and it was a blast for all of us , the parents and kids. Everyone was just over the moon with the entertainment, quality of food, the drinks, the place, how the kids were busy away from the aprents😂🙈 , the hospitality, and even me i was amazed with such a good help from them on organising everything before and through the party( at least they had the patience and managed to survive the headache i made everytime i call/email them asking about another detail)...my girls were suepr duepr happy and that means that the party was a heck because of you..i do recommend this place to anyone who wants to just have a good organised and filled party for the kids and a relaxed time socialising for the parents.

We've had a few birthday parties at Bertie and Boo, as always, the team was amazing and everything was really well organised from the moment we made the booking to the end of the party. Boo =) made sure kids were safe at all times while parents enjoyed a drink and during the show she included all kids in the activities and really looked after them. The birthday boys and their guests had an mazing time and we can't wait to be back to the soft play area soon.

Visited midweek and it was fantastic! We paid for a story time ticket and it was well worth it! My 2 year old had the best time and the bubbles were great. There’s a separate seated area for eating and they have a great kids meal deal where you fill a bucket with 5 items for £5.50 including sandwiches, fruit, oat bars. Will definitely be returning

Wonderful soft play that we visit regularly. We had a super birthday party there for our three year old - the staff were amazing and ran everything so smoothly. Very impressive!

Better for older toddlers, not much for babies around 1 or under to do and such a rip off! Over £10 to enter and you’re not allowed to bring your own food, you have to purchase theirs due to ‘allergies’. £4.95 for some pesto pasta! Really disappointing visit, we left early as the babies were bored so didn’t even get our monies worth.

The space worked perfectly - big enough to keep the kids entertained, but small enough to know they were nearby and the grown ups could enjoy a glass of fizz in the cafe whilst they had fun - win win all round! Absolutely fantastic!!!! Such a phenomenal day!! All of our guests had a fantastic time, the littles and larges alike. We most certainly will be re-visiting Bertie & Boo for another party. Everything was excellently organised planned and curated. We literally just had to show up. Drinks and food were delicious and all of the adults thoroughly enjoyed their platters and prosecco. Highly recommend getting the upgraded packages. Likewise the additional warm food and vegan food for our littles were delicious. They too thoroughly enjoyed. We greatly appreciated the entertainment for the children. Everything was so well organised and each activity very entertaining. Perfectly judged and timed for our 2 year old and his friends. Mist importantly the Birthday Boy had a phenomenal time!!! The team even packed away all gifts, cake and platter leftovers. It was such a treat for us as parents to kick back and enjoy with our guests happily. Unreservedly recommend and we cant wait to come back next year! Went with my 4 month old baby who is weaning food and a guy who I'm guessing runs place approached are table and told us we can't bring her food in we have to get it from them which was pouches behind counter next time. she barley has a coulpe baby spoons of pureed carrot as she's learning to eat what a joke just money grabbers.

Fantastic kids party venue. We had 2 entertainers for 30 children. Everything was made so easy - literally had to bring the cake and party bags, and do nothing else. Plenty of space for the kids and about 35 adults. Would definitely recommend!

We had our daughter’s 5th birthday party here yesterday and what a time she and her friends had! From the beginning of the process, conversing via email and phone, to us walking through the door, the customer service was exceptional. A lady called Barbara assisted me with all queries and made the process seamless. On the day she was joined by our entertainer for the , ‘Boo’ and another man (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name). Boo was fab, the kids loved her, her energy levels were sky high and she made my daughter feel special. The other gentleman was great in seeing to all the parents, setting up the party bags and assembling the cake that I had brought in. There is not one thing I can say I was unhappy about. We had an excellent party thanks to the staff and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you :)

Our daughter had a brilliant 3rd birthday party at Bertie and Boo. The space is used really well to keep the kids entertained, it’s run so smoothly and easily - you just need to turn up with a cake and everything else is done for you. Everyone had a great time and even though we’ve been to three B&B parties in the same number of weeks with many of the same children, they are still thoroughly enjoyable for all and a bit different every time.

It's a late review but we did a joint birthday there for our sons (age 2 and 6) for a group of about 10 kids last year. We booked the laser tag party and the kids had a blast. The two entertainer were great and the adults were well looked after with the extra drinks/food. It was a relatively stress free birthday but I would limit to small group so kids have space to run freely. From reading some reviews, only minus was indeed the booking experience. It was hard to get anyone on the phone but in the end their online booking system worked well. Keep up the good work Bertie and Boo!

We recently had our son's 3rd Birthday party at Bertie & Boo, and we all had the BEST time! It is so nice to have the whole venue to yourself, and have Boo (or Bertie) entertain the children while the parents watch on with a drink in hand :-). Boo was absolutely incredible, so much energy and really got the kids engaged in all the activities, particularly the magic show. We also had two 'front of house' guys looking after us, making sure everyone had a drink, and generally ensuring the party ran smoothly. It was also wonderful to have everything cleared up for us, presents/balloon/cake all packed up ready to go at the end, we really could just enjoy ourselves and let the Bertie & Boo team deal with the rest. We would absolutely recommend Bertie and Boo for a fuss free and fun party! All our guests were raving about it too :-) THANK YOU so much Bertie and Boo Adventure Island!

Everything absolutely perfct ! If you are looking for a fantastic party organised in all details from A to Z..look no further! Bertie and boo will take care of everything for an amazing stressfree experience. My son turned 4 and he was over the moon , and I couldn't believe how well the staff handled 30 wild kids xD What I loved the most it was the bertie and Boo show .. they manged to keep everyone's attention for 30 minutes and it was really super fun !! Bertie and Boo is so good it's hard to write a review with a calm head, but I'll try. We had our four year-old's birthday party at B&B, and it was an evening to remember. The staff members were friendly, efficient and attentive. Our event was for 90 mins, and thanks to the way they'd structured it - a bit of soft play, a bit of disco, cake-cutting & snacks, followed by the magic show - the kids had a well-rounded time and were excited from start to finish. There was a cozy cafe-style space for parents to relax. Some parents - including this one - joined in the magic show, which was a super hit with old and young alike. In our circle, I suspect we've now set the bar very high for children's parties (with some of the children asking their parents to host their birthday parties at B&B), without intending to! If I really need to say something not-so-great, which every honest reviewer must try to, I'd say the way to the toilet at B&B is through the matted soft play area, and it wasn't immediately clear to conscientious adults whether to go there with the shoes on (a strict no-no for soft play) or without. But this is really a quibble when set against the fantastic experience we had! Would love to revisit!

My boys had an absolutely amazing time celebrating their birthday at Bertie and Boo! Everything was so well organised, I like how they directed the kids to the next focus whether it was disco, eating, magic show. A great trick was telling the kids that they needed to put their shoes on before they could get a balloon 😊

Absolutely first class treatment on Atty’s 2nd birthday , I highly recommend a party at Bertie and Boo. The high energy of the entertainer and the efficient hard working staff on duty was next to none. Children of all ages 2-8yrs were excited and entertained for the full hour and half. Delicious food , Prosecco for the adults , presents collected and prepared for taking home, and party bags sorted , cake cut, and a rest for Mums and grandma Who had nothing to do but enjoy watching the little ones enjoy themselves. Money well spent and will absolutely book for the next birthday 🎉

We had our sons 4th birthday party at Bertie and boo and he totally loved it. It was an effortless party. They were so accommodating and the magic show was so much fun!
