Best West Kebab & Pizza in Harrow

The quality has plummeted here it used be a go to for few of my friends but not looks ragged and food quality was below par I had slight gamy tummy

Salad was old and brown and hardly any put on the kebab, ordered a large and it’s tiny.

I am so disappointed about the chicken kebab which I ordered today as I couldn't taste the sauces at all. My husband especially drove back and he received tiny portion of sauces which were so watery and lack of taste. They taste just like water!!!!!! The salad was include: lettuce, the skin of the cucumber and 1 slice of tomato cut in 3 tiny pieces and it was in tiny silver container. The man charged additional 50 p for the salad as it is in the container. I remember in the past sauces were thicker and they tested nice. Nobody charged me for the container before. The salad was bigger and nicer as well. It was served in a reasonable sized container. The chicken was horrible today and it was much better in the past. Please think twice before you purchase from there. I never write a review but I was so upset because I couldn't eat the food for how bad it was today!!!!So I wasted my money on it !!!!!! Please do not buy there !!!! I have given a 1 star but it doesn't deserve any !!!!

To begin with, I think this restaurant has been sold on, as kebabs used to be the best around, but tonight we ordered a takeaway it has to be the worst we have ever had. Not very much and not very tasty, pretty disgusting, don’t waste your money, I suppose we should have realised it wouldn’t be very good when they said I’ll start cooking now, so will be with you shortly. It used to be a 45 minute wait, considering it’s a Friday night at 8pm. Never again, menu gone in bin.

My food was 30 mins early and became cold and hard by the time we got to sit down to eat. I specifically ordered it to be delivered at a certain time when I received a ca from the restaurant that the driver is not available so it will be early. Then they wouldn't mark it delivered for another 30 min after the expected delivery time so I could t even leave a review straight away. I ordered salad with my burger which they decided to put in the bun along with the salad dressing which then soaked the whole burger through! It was falling apart. Besides, the food was literally tasteless and chips smelled and tasted like burnt oil. First time order from here but definitely the last. Wouldn't recommend!!!

“Chef” asked me if I wanted the chicken juicy or cooked… shocking place and expensive. Avoid.

Pizza was hard, tasteless and thin like cardboard with unrecognizable pieces of meat, so bad that I literally couldn't tell the difference between the two different types of pizza I got! Never again (from there). We made better pizzas in middle school!

Ordered in store, raw meat handled without gloves, kebab reshaped using hand, hand wiped on top, hand then used to get nan. Avoid.

Very very bad experience. I ordered food through Uber eats but the food was delivered to me after two hours 30 minutes later. Even less than 2 miles away.

Do not order from here! I ordered a kebab and chicken Sheesh and it came after estimated delivery. The meat looked like dog food and stank so bad. Why is this place even still open! This was not edible and ended up in the waste. They did not even answer my call after trying about 10 times. I never really write bad reviews but had to warn people of this place. Disgusting!

I have ordered Friday 21st October x2 lamb donner and x1 shish kebab. Very unpleasant experience. Food came late and it was cold. Couldn't eat. Very disappointed! Wont buy again!

Ordered on just eat two hours ago, usually have no issues but tonight nothing has shown up the app says delivered but when we called they said they’d bring it in 20 minutes and that was an hour ago. Now no one is answering! My mother in law now won’t be eating tonight as it’s so late and she has to be up at 5am for work. Absolute joke.

I placed an order at 6.52 told delivery 7.30-7.55. Tried to ring through the app 10 or more times!! 8.30 he turns up! To say he picked up 15 mins ago!! 2 chicken doner kebabs near 2 hours!!???? NO Answer!! NO Updates of delay!!! State of food when it arrived!! Bin!! Avoid!!! Useless!!

I ordered a donner one day of the week and it was really bad, it was dry, stale, cold. Plus it was not a large. I complained today and ordered another one, this time the donner was excellent. It was fresh, hot and large. It was really good. I have ordered from them before and have always had a good experience with them. Except that one time. I will order again from them. The delivery guy was really nice too.

It's a poor kebab , I order a large kebab but look like small and smell like lemon + bad taste I don't recomand

Absaloutley appalling!! The WORST kebab EVER!!!!! Dry tasteless so called chicken, must be leftovers! I wouldn’t give this to my dog!! The salad was a joke! And just to add insult to the injury, they forgot the rice I ordered and paid for!! NEVER EVER again!! The rating didn’t deserve one star but doesn’t post with zero stars! I tried to call to let them know how disgusting the food was (even tried the next day) but the phone is off the hook, they clearly know ppl will complain about the awful “food” being sent out!

Avoid this place! Should be called Worst West Kebab. I ordered 2 large shish kebabs and got smalls - see photos. The lamb shish was cooked poorly (was very tough) the chicken wings smelt fishy so didnt eat them. Chips tasted the best but thats because i like tripped cooked chips so suggests they are refrying old chips which my partner didnt enjoy. When i try to call the shop about my issues the line appears to be engaged?

We bought from here because the reviews were fantastic and since moving to Harrow we have not found many authentic Turkish kabab shops. The few we did find were ok. We used to live in North London where there were at least 5 kabab shops on every road, and as Turks ourselves we know our kababs. It started good with fast delivery, but then we opened the food, and it was really bad. The chips were hard and stale, most of the meat was tasteless and it was like yesterday’s leftovers re-heated. Some of the meat like the wings were ok, but at least 60% tasted old, it wasn’t made fresh. Maybe I have to higher expectations then all the other reviewers, maybe I got a bad batch, but I wont be buying from Best West Kebab ever again. 05/07 I just noticed their comment to my review, and would like to point out that I am NOT their competitor and have not had a conversation with them. So as well as a bad experience with thier food, they have added lying to their resume.

We only ordered from you cause the review were good. You are far from the best kebab in town. Go to Charcoal Grill Wembley Triangle, they are best in town and always fresh. Kebab, very bad taste, chicken was very dry, tasted like leftover and very salty. Twisted chips are terrible, like from someones plate they were thrown in the box and £3.99 for it🤣. Never again!

Bought a large size portion of mixed kebab for £7.90 but it is not worth for the money. Meat was tasteless and kinda old. I trusted the reviews and tried but it sounds like fake reviews.

Walked in and was immediately greeted by the chef and the owner. Both smiling and welcoming. After a brief look at the menu and being spoiled for choice, I asked the owner to recommend something. Without hesitation they offered me the marinated Chicken and Lamb and cooked it on the grill to perfection. While I was waiting they spoke to me about how they prepare their food and I was very impressed with the health and safety and the complex flavours used. I choose to take the food away and eat at home with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. P.S. YOU HAVE TO TRY THE CHILLI SAUCE!

The dish I ordered was pretty good, but not impressed with the packaging. I also felt there was a bit too much meat in the order. Also not a fan of jalapeños.

Since the new owners have taken over I think the food has got better and the customer service from the staff here are very polite and the food is amazing highly recommended

Rude people. Called for collection and arrived over 10mins after and they talking and had loud 1990's music on and empty grill. Instead of apologising they were rude and asking me not to come back.

Old and stale chips that looked and tasty like cooked in old oil. No flavouring and food tasted greasy and fatty. Rice was okay naan was shop bought ok. Salad okay. Chilli sauce full of oil. Chicken wings red and crumbling bones. First time and last time buying here. BIG MISTAKE.

From 5 stars to -5 stars 😞 This place was absolutely amazing under the previous management. Unfortunately the food has changed dramatically under the new management. For instance; in my final order, Lamb Doner, the meat was off, possibly gone. Pitta bread was not fresh and tasted like stale bread. The Chicken Doner consisted of possibly 30% chicken skin on which one could see the feathers. Absolute waste of 40 quid.

OK they must have not liked me much. I ordered a plain Lamb donar & chips without chili or nothing. Got home and the meet look like it had been cut with a axe and had never seen a flame. Meat was nasty and chips tasted odd....to the point i had to throw it all away. Wouldn't even give it to my dog which is why i had no chili in the first place. Shop looks nice, but that it.

I've been ordering from here since I moved into the area 1yr ago. I've had many kebabs and this place are one of the good ones. Always friendly inside and it's better to go in person or order via their app. You'd be surprised how good their pizzas are. The flavour and texture beats any of those cheap thin £6 pizzas around. Also try their curries, just tried one and it's delicious. Update: I am not sure what's changed but made an order since a few months and the pizza was thin and lacking base tomato sauce. Was like a cheap £2 7inch pizza with just cheese on bread. The mixed kebab ended up being only a lamb donner, not sure why they got it wrong as I saw plenty of chicken kebab on the rotisserie. I know the management had changed a while back but now maybe the suppliers have too and not for the better.

One of the Best Kebab shops. The mix grill in particular was extremely nice especially topped with the complimentary Turkish soda drink. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming.

I've been to several kebab shops like this one, but this is top of the bunch (hence why I’ve been going to them for over a year!) Food is piping hot, which I love. Several things impressed me, specifically, the lamb and chicken is cooked to perfection. The food is regularly well prepared with amazing portion size and is delicious! Staff members hands out fantastic service by building rapports and going above and beyond to ensure the customer is satisfied. They take the utmost care with cleanliness even before covid which shows a lot about the business. There was a recent change in ownership and the food is even better than before! I never thought this would be possible so keep up all the good work!

Initially, this was one of the best kebab spots the workers were friendly and inviting, but after changing owners the quality has declined significantly. The worker was rude and aggressive on Sunday the 14th of March which is what lead me to write this review as previously they have always been friendly and well mannered. The quality of the food was usually fresh, and the chicken never had bits of skin, but this time it had multiple shreds of burn chicken and chicken skin. Charged extra for sauce... no other kebab shops charge for sauce thats just absurd! They never take card payments and when they first reopened a man who seemed like the manager said that it takes 5 days for the banks to transfer. it has now been 5 months and they still no longer take card payments & direct all customers to the cash machine across a very busy road - very unusual. I usually only have apple pay on my phone so thank god I kept taking my actual card with me. Overall their customer service is awful and disappointing because the food seemed clean. Was a very regular customer but I will no longer be returning to support this terrible shop.

Amazing Kebab shop! I have tried a few kebab shop in and around the Harrow area but I have found that the meat within this particular takeaways is of a better quality. Other takeaways have had more fat resulting in undesirable chewy bits in the kofta style kebabs which is a bit horrible but this was delicious. I have tried a few different wraps from kofta wraps to chicken wraps as well and their mixed doner. I couldn't rate them highly enough combining quality meats with delicious taste.

There aren't many good kebab shops around town however I came across this place first time and decided to take a chance based on the reviews. Happy to say it did not disappoint. The food and the service was highly commendable. One of the best kebab shops in the area and staff are very friendly. They even gave me some rice pudding to try which was delicious! I'll definitely be visiting again!

Change of ownership and it's gone down hill, ordered a family special and all of the grilled kebabs were burnt, rice was way too mushy and the chips were either overcooked or refried. I used to order regularly for my family from this place but I think after the change of ownership the quality has dropped, it's a real shame as Best West used to be my favourite in the area

Awesome!!! Ordered, cooked and delivered in no time at all. Highly recommend their mixed grill it truly is restaurant standard. Food was well wrapped and delivered hot, which is a must for me. Really impressed with customer service and complimentary sauces, especially the chilli sauce very traditional. Thank you so much to all at best west Kebab.

Disappointed. Got the chicken donor wrap. Chicken had a smell to it, taste was too salty and dripping with oil. Went there because I looked at the fake reviews. Oh and there card machine also didn’t work so you have to walk to the cashpoint in the cold and rain. Well done good job for doing such a terrible job.

Easily the best Turkish food I've ever tried. Absolutely delicious with portions that are more than satisfying. Prices are great too. Delivery was also very fast. Will definitely order again.

Ordered the lamb donner and stir fry mix, and a few burger meals for the family, and everyone loved it! The chicken in the burgers was cooked to perfection, and the donner and stir fry was seasoned just right! Will be ordering again very soon again. Highly recommend!

Ordered £20 worth of food took the money but they’re not closed until another 3 HOURS?! If you like inconvenience of waiting 5 working days to get your money back then fine. Otherwise don’t expect your food order if they don’t “feel” like taking orders that day..

Very good tasty kebab. Had the wrap which is easier to eat rather than in pita bread. Good value. Recommend.
