Bill's cafe in Eastbourne

Scam!!! They charged me nearly £12 for a cup of tea and some cheesy chips!!! I came in today and waited a long while to be served chips that had grated cheese on that was hardly melted! Small portion for what they charged me! I feel mugged off.

Cafe it’s self was lovely relaxed and food was nice just a let down on the 10 chips and small spoon of beans for a £9.50 breakfast .

Bad experience !! they didn't check allergies , no tap water offered I had ordered a bottle of sparkling water when it eventually came ( service was painfully slow and it was really quiet at the time , heaven knows how they cope when busy ) it was warm , they said they didn't have storage to chill the bottles of sparkling water I could put it in a glass full of ice or they would put it in the freezer , I had waited long enough and declined both , yet they charged me for it , I didn't notice until the card clicked that it had gone through , I then waited another 10 minutes to tell me they couldn't give me a refund at the moment as they couldn't contact head office ??? they took my number , but of course nobody has rung me , maybe if they ever bother to they could refund the service charge at the sometime as it was appalling . Food was ok

My special needs son and his friend who also has special needs popped in for 2 take away hot chocolates. My son couldn't see any price lists and it turned out they were £4 each for a basic hot chocolate! I haven't even been charged that much in central London. My son had to ask for his £1 change after the server shut the till drawer. To top it off my sons friend was charged 20p for card transaction. Definitely will not be going back.

Best veggie breakfast I’ve had in a LONG while, beautiful halloumi and avo, poached eggs cooked to PERFECTION!! We had a bottomless brunch and drinks came out nice and quickly for our large table, the rose spritz is so refreshing and flavoursome!! Deffo recommend!

Friendly, polite staff. Nice and clean inside. Always full of locals and regulars and it has a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere. Food is consistently tasty, cooked fresh and never greasy, The coffee is much better than most places too. Prices are about right. Most people seem to tip, which says a lot. A lovely local café. Does take-away too. Perfect for a filling brekkie before a walk on the seafront or a trip to town.

Quick and friendly service! Went in needing a place to charge my phone (chargers provided at table!) and ordered a really delightful latte. 10/10

What a lovely little cafe?! Very friendly and speedy service, and amazing food! The cappuccino was also made perfectly! Nothing at all to complain about. Will definitely be back

Last visit before the lock down, I enjoyed the food, but felt the staff could have been more attentive and polite.

Welcoming, clean and usual selection of cooked breakfasts, toasted sandwiches etc. Recommended by a resident.

Pidí mi comida y esperé 25 minutos y casi no había nadie allí y la mayoría de ellos tenía comida allí, la comida apareció con huevos en el plato que no pedí porque tengo alergia a los huevos y dije que eso era no estaba bien, entonces me dijeron que eso era lo que pedí y dije que no es porque no puedo comer huevos, marcan la comida, la misma comida regresó 5 minutos más tarde sin huevos, el sabor de la comida no era bueno, se nota fue comida muy barata que compraron, comieron un poco y se fueron 30 minutos más tarde. Necesitaba que el baño no dijera nada más, fue directo, me dio una mala experiencia en general y el personal no pudo dar una mierda

Il posto è molto carino e caratteristico e si può gustare una tipica colazione inglese a tutte le ore. Le portate sono abbondanti e deliziose

We stayed in Eastbourn for 2 days & on both days ate at Bills and found food very enjoyable & reasonably priced

Service gut. Essen typisch schnell Kost aber gut präsentiert und preise sind in Ordnung. Ambient ist modern industriell und sauber.
