Bisous Bisous - Chorlton in Manchester

Llamé a este café y me senté afuera bajo el sol. Nuestro pedido de dos cafés, un queso tostado y un pain au raisin fue servido con una total falta de interés. “He derramado su café” - dados los precios aquí había alrededor de £ 3 de café en el platillo! Sin disculpas ni intentos de remediar la situación, mi marido tuvo que ir al café a pedir una servilleta para trapearlo. No tenían nada (! ? ) y le dieron un rollo azul. La comida era sabrosa, pero en general una experiencia mediocre.

Primera vez aquí, hecho para sentirse muy bienvenido. Un montón de elección de pasteles y pasteles estropeados para la elección. Atendido por una joven encantadora que era muy atento. Sin duda volveré!

Tuvimos un tiempo encantador ponerse al día con el café! Aunque nos sentamos afuera (para disfrutar del raro sol de Manchester! ) había un buen bullicio en la tienda y era un ambiente encantador - personal amable, gran café, pasteles y sándwiches bellamente presentados y personalmente les encantó la lista de reproducción que tenían en. Grande gracias a los dos servidores en el día (un señor alto y una señora más baja con el pelo castaño) las bebidas y los mordiscos salieron rápidamente y nada era demasiado problema!

Me tomé un café muy bueno... . el mejor café que he tomado en mucho tiempo, tantos lugares cobran demasiado por un café pobre, pero estos chicos lo hacen bien. Tuvimos un sándwich de Pastrami de Nueva York que era tan lleno y muy sabroso, mi compañero tenía las tres tostadas de queso y era tan bueno ... . compartimos ... buena porción de ensalada fresca con un buen aderezo balsámico también. Lo terminamos con un pastel de queso Biscoff que era tan indulgente que no pudimos terminarlo, así que llevamos el resto con nosotros, que la señora detrás del mostrador puso en una linda cajita para nosotros. Me encanta este lugar volver pronto gracias chicos.

Un servicio horrible. Enorme espera de comida para la mitad de nuestro pedido, la otra mitad nunca llegó a pesar de que otros pedidos claramente se sirven. Ninguna disculpa por parte del personal que parecía incompetente desde el principio (¡esta debería haber sido nuestra señal de advertencia! ) junto con una mala actitud cuando cuestionamos nuestro estado de pedido.

Always loved Bisous Bisous in Chorlton and found the staff to be helpful, friendly and attentive. Not the case today unfortunately. There were two young ladies behind the counter. Plenty of room to sit and no queue at all. Very unusual. We chose our table and sat down. We went to the counter to see what was available. Neither of the two ladies behind the counter made any attempt to serve us or indeed make use feel welcome or valued. When we asked what the sandwiches were one lady just pointed to the written menu. No explanation. No conversation if fact I would go as far as to say they appeared to not want to serve us. We ordered and paid for two sandwiches and two drinks. The drinks arrived quite quickly served by a third member of staff who had appeared. She was pleasant and had more idea of customer service. The sandwiches arrived shortly after and we both commented ‘she clearly isn’t happy in her work’ as she plonked the plates on the table and waltzed off. As I said it wasn’t busy, it was an awful day. One of the ladies appeared to take her break and sat on the bar table in the window whilst the other stood and talked to her. This did not give the good impression we have become use to at Bisous Bisous and lead us to the decision to not have the cake and second drink which we usually have. Although disappointed with the attitude and service of two of the ladies today, we can not fault the sandwich or the drinks. Yes we would go back (hoping for more welcoming/attentive staff).

I support local businesses whenever I can and I’m sorry I’m writing this review. But I hope the management will learn to support their staff more from my feedback. When entering, there was a couple of tables with customers all remaining tables were dirty with left over plates/mugs. We moved dirty plates from window bench and waited to be served. The one person working was clearly over worked and was very tied. They ignored us and went to clean all five dirty tables. So we stood there for a good 5 minutes with other customers coming in behind us also waiting. When finally served the staff member was just not interested and didn’t apologise for the wait. We ordered two mochas and two hummus sandwiches for £19. Not cheap. When they came the mocha was very nice but we noticed the thinnest of layer of hummus and the plate was full of lettuce. Not what we expected for nearly £20. With so much competition in Chorlton this branch does need to step up its game.

I called in for a coffee, having 30 minutes to kill before meeting someone. A 12 minute wait for a coffee made this a more rushed experience than it should have been. "we've had a rush on" being the closest to an apology when I enquired as to its whereabouts. Not friendly Also, the state of the toilets! Perhaps the WiFi password is a subtle warning

Service ok but not very welcoming. Lovely cakes, ok coffee, good tea, but expensive. Nice interior and good outside seating area. The real downer was the toilets. They were scruffy and quite dirty. The underside of the toilet seat was minging! In this situation I often wonder whether the standard of hygiene in the toilets is reflected in the kitchen…….

One thing I have found when I ever enter this cafe is that the service is usually not that great. They have fantastic pastries which keep me coming back but the woman that usually serves me just has a very cold and unwelcoming demeanour, there is just zero watmth to her personality and it will put off people coming back. She isnt abusive or openly rude but it just comes accross as she cant be bothered and very rarely smiles or makes me feel welcome in any way when I come to the counter. Coffee is ok, but is usually a bit too hot and can ruin the taste. The pastries are the saving grace of this place though!.

Mean portions, noisy atmosphere, zero service!! When I ordered a chicken and avocado sandwich, I didn't expect it to be served on a baguette. I mentioned to the waitress I had expected normal sliced bread but she unhelpfully said that was all they had and offered no alternative. Unfortunately, as they cannily take payments upfront, customers have little negotiating power. When I opened up the 'sandwich' I needed a magnifying glass to find the filling. Two microscopic slivers of avocado and chicken lay pathetically in this mountain of unwanted crusty baguette. It was pathetic. Not only portion control but customer control as well!! There are so many other great places to eat on Beech Road, avoid this one like the plague!

Quite simply, this is now my place. Fancy a nice lunch, they have it covered, bit of indulgence....they really have it covered. Quick coffee/beer with friends....yep, that too. Their sandwich option are great, super fresh and completely delicious. Oooh and quiche! Give that a try whilst visiting too. Cakes....where to begin...I’ve sampled a few over the last few weeks but the stand outs are their caramel eclair (to die for!) lemon merengue....oh my days. A Black Forest piece of heaven. I could go on...but you see my point. Just GREAT. You know when you can taste that someone actually enjoys cooking....yep, that’s this place. Coffee is great, and they have beer on draft. I often sit and work from here as the vibe is mellow and chilled. Great outside space too when it’s sunny and you can watch the world go by on beech Rd. I’m always made to feel welcome and always want to go back.

We arrived at this establishment and should have realised by the fact the place was empty what to expect. We were all masked up and followed their guidlines chose our table and were given menus by this very surly waitress who told us to come back to the counter to give our order. When the food was delivered to our table we were amazed at the small portions but were hungry so we ate finished and waited for our desert and waited and waited and waited. The waitress was more interested in her mobile than her customers. Needless to say I would never eat there again nor would I recommend it to anyone. When the bill was finally produced no smile no eye contact and no chat. Very very disappointed and very very expensive.

Came here with my friend on a Sunday when it was pretty quiet in there and the staff all have some kind of issue i have no idea what’s wrong with them. All young staff (nothing wrong with that) however it seems that they would rather do anything than actually serve their customers. Me and my friend walked in and stood at the counter for around 10 mins whilst two staff members stood right in front of us the whole time without greeting us or serving us! they were just pretending to wipe the same surfaces over and over for the entire time even though this was nowhere near even closing time. In fact another member of staff had to come in from outside to ask us what we wanted. All staff were pretty rude and would walk away whilst we were still talking to them. My friends Americano looked absolutely rank it looked more like a strong tea, no froth at all and had some weird oil droplets floating on the surface of it. No sugar or teaspoon offered with it it was just plonked onto the table in front of her. I had to pay £3 for a small 330ml can of flavoured water! absolute rip off, no atmosphere in there and the staff all either hate working there and have attitude problems or they were all on it heavily the night before. It’s a shame because everywhere else on Beech Road is lovely and this place really lets it down. Would not recommend to anybody

Went to the chorlton branch on Saturday... although the staff were great and very polite.... the lemon meringue pie was the best I've ever had... however the lemon drizzle cake that the hubby had was stale and he was very disappointed.... coffee was delish though...

I was here 03.10.2020 with some friends. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I found the music was relaxing and was at reasonable volume. When I walked in I was immediately drawn to the Macarons. They are different colours and different flavours. I could eat them all day. They also have gold cutlery which I think is cool. I would be more than happy to visit this place again. Thank you for such an amazing venue and top notch experience.

The staff are fairly unhelpful and not very welcoming however they more than make up for it with the quality of the products. The best croissants and quiche around

Went to the new Beech Road cafe today after much anticipation and I’m afraid it wasn’t great. We were just having coffee and pastries. I had a warmed croissant, which I wanted with butter and no jam and this cost the same as if I had had jam but I was presented with a single, rock-hard, pre-wrapped packet of BRITISH butter. Not what I was expecting. The coffee was pretty average too. As the prices are top end, I think they really need to pay attention to the details.
