Visited Bistro 14 for the first time and was a delight it was. All 3 meals were cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and delicious! The service was brilliant and so kind to my Daughter. Would highly recommend visiting this place.

I went here over the weekend as I do not have any Polish cages near me, and I am glad that I did. I was greeted warmly on both days of my visit and ordered on day 1, the pizza (50cm) and the long Kiev as I call it, with salad and mashed potatoes. The pizza bread was huge and packed with toppings (picture), very, very tasty. The chicken Kiev type main was hot and very tasty, and both dishes were very delicious. On my second visit, I ordered Polish coffee and dumplings, a dark tasty coffee appeared along with 9 dumplings full of pork and very tasty!!!! It is only a small place with limited seating but very well worth a visit of you are nearby. I would certainly go back for more of the delicious dishes and the warm welcome.

There are a lot of reviews on Facebook, and we were taken there by one of my wife's students (yes, the student is Polish) so well recommended. They do a daily changing set menu, and when we went it was potato and beetroot soup, then stuffed cabbage rolls, mashed potato, beetroot, coleslaw and a cucumber salad. I loved the soup, plain and simple, loads of beetroot, still just firm potato cubes and a hint of pepper for seasoning. Three good sized scoops of mash and two good sized cabbage rolls. Hearty, wholesome, filling food. very generous portions, and if, like me, you could not finish the main, they will happily box it up for you to take home..# The staff were friendly and smiling. Not a lot of tables, but enough for a single, couples or a small family.

Firebird is a lovely place for both good food and friendly staff . We weren’t rushed and had a great chat with the owner. Food was cooked to order and very tasty. Also plenty of it .

Sea side cafe open all year with guests prepared to sit out at tables by the sea all year long, even though there is heated covered seating outdoors (but not sea view) and indoors. Which speaks to its popularity with locals attracted by its high quality food at fair prices. Really busy in summer but still busy in winter unless it’s really wet and blowy. As an area resident I go all year, and am happy to do so.

Always first class cooking and service. Limited capacity so booking advisable. High quality cuisine for reasonable price

I went for dinner with my sisters as a Christmas trwat to eachother. The service was brilliant as was the food. The range of vegetarian dishes were fantastic and what I really liked was the range of dishes that could also be gluten free and vegan! We shared some starters, the calamari was perfectly cooked (not greasy), the waitbait was large in size and the halloumi wasn't squeaky. I had the Hungarian mushroom stew which was absolutely delicious. My sisters had the beef burger and confit duck leg which they said was really good too. For pudding, we shared the cottage cheese doughnuts (we were intrigued, and they were honestly fantastic). I would also highly recommend the Hungarian white wine. We will definitely be returning!

People seemed nice and it was good we could take our dog in. I ordered fillet of fish on its own as I have a gastric bypass but the fish and batter was so soggy, I was worried it had been warmed in the microwave so only had one mouthful as I was afraid I was going to be ill. The hot chocolate were nice but not enough for us to come back, sorry
