Nice place. Good food. Very friendly staff

Never been in here before so we thought we’d try it for something different. I ordered quiche my partner ordered pate with bread, latte and a tea. My tea arrived 10 mins later and the latte arrived 10 mins after that! ! .. after about 30 mins I realised people around the room were beginning to get their food, so basically everyone had a long wait, after about wait of 40 mins I said to the girl, could you find out how long our meal is going to be as we’re going to have to go soon.. parking was running out. The girl came back and said our meal hadnt been started, so with that we just paid for our drinks and left as it would have been an hour before we’d have got our meal, it seems the lady in charge was cook, taking money and training a young girl. On the black board it’s says they are not fast food but we cook the best food as fast as we can. We won’t be back, there was no system in place, for my partner to get his coffee 10 minutes after me getting my tea.. and also a lady came in after us she got served before us.

We popped in here while visiting Blairgowrie and found it to be a charming place. They were quite busy, but the staff were very accommodating and polite. Great drinks and cakes, at a very reasonable price. We would visit again if were in the area.

Warm welcome, pleasant atmosphere. The café was well attended and the owner kindly asked us to be patient. That wasn't a problem at all because we felt comfortable and there was a lot to discover. In addition, the food is freshly prepared for each guest, you could see into the kitchen 🙂. Everything was very clean. The operators always had a kind word for the guests. We also got into a nice conversation right away. Warm greetings to the two owners and all the best! P.S. My partner asked if I wanted to go somewhere else when we walked in here as every table was covered with dirty dishes and I wish I had said yes. So dated, but dirty dated not quirky dated. Tablecloths all dirty and everything sticky. Marks all over the bathroom walls. And then I was served the worst ‘latte’ I have had the pleasure of receiving…spilled all over the saucer…couldn’t even drink it…wish I’d gone next door and spent the money on a hamster instead

We were on holiday here and saw this restuarant went in its a wetherspoons lovely place, good foods also x

All day we have Pensioners deal macaroni freshly cooked served with a pot of tea all for £8.95 Monday - Saturday opening at 10pm

Had an amazing lunch here, food was excellent & very friendly staff ,we recommend this eating establishment to everyone visiting Blairgowrie

A beautiful wee coffee shop we stumbled across when on a night away with my wife. Reasonably priced for a coffee and latte. Nice and quiet for a morning cuppa and chat.

Visited here 3 days ago, food was disgusting. The so called soup was like pig slop. And inedible. Although there were about five of them... sandwiches were below average and overpriced. We waited for forty minutes for this muck and the staff had no idea what was going on. Appalling service. We will never be back.

Really good food, great menu choice for lunch or breakfast. Coffee was lovey as was the soup and toasties! Relaxing environment and really fast service, staff were lovely.

Dropped in for breakfast before driving back to west coast. Had a lovely breakfast with great service and really friendly hosts. Nice and chatty, relaxed and genuine what more can I say. Would definitely recommend

We chose a bad day. The guy was trying to run it on his own and clearly looked stressed at the idea. Cakes,coffee,hot rolls only. No meals. Fair enough. And soup. The food was ok. We were the only 2 in at lunchtime so the atmosphere was a little on the quiet side. Personally with a shortage of staff I wouldnt have opened, I think it did more harm to the reputation than good. Oh and it was cash only, no card payments. As locals on a first visit im afraid it will be a while before we go again.

Rediculously overpriced!! soup of the day was out of a tin, cheese toastie with minimal amount of cheese on, i think this was about £6-£7 and my husband got a tuna panini, nothing with it and minimal filling, this was over £8!! Im not sure who decides on their pricing but whoever it is definitely needs to have a rethink, either offer decent portions and proper homemade soup or cut their prices in half because thats pretty much all it was worth! On top of all that we felt quite uncomfortable as we were seated, the young girl server was really nice and welcoming and showed us to a window table which sat 4 people (there were only 2 of us but the place was quite empty) then the man behind the counter blatantly said loud enough that we could hear to the girl "any more tables of 2 come in, put them at a table for 2, not a table for 4!!" We felt awkward and like we were doing something wrong...so with that and the really poor value for money, needless to say we wont be back.

Nice lunch, very relaxed atmosphere and tasty food and cakes to take home, ideal. I had a very tasty lasagna, very generous portion size. Good location close to all local shops and attractions.

Called in and had Coffee and a toasted tea cake.The coffee - an Americano was strong and rich and the tea cake tasty .The staff were friendly a d helpful. The do light lunches too and pensioner's specials .

Excellent service would certainly go back. Person in charge stayed on 30mins beyond closing and was in no rush to get us out -nice chat also. Steak pie was 1st class and the Mac and cheese was real homemade full of flavour.

What a great little cafe. Wonderful freshly prepared sandwich served with a salad, good selection of cakes and friendly staff. They don’t have facilities to take card payments so remember to take cash.

Came last July. We had a lovely coffee and bacon rolls which were delicious and the rolls themselves were lovely fresh floury ones. The place is so quaint and cute. The Lady who I think is the owner was very friendly and was helpful in providing a high chair for our son. Hope to come back this summer. Thanks.

Have looked at this cafe a few times & thought we'd try lunch. Quick to take order but slow to bring drinks & food. Mac & Cheese average, not particularly good value for money. Slow to clear tables.

Lovely food coffee and great customer service

The sign inside says not fast food but fresh food. I beg to differ. Ordered the lentil soup expecting it to be home made...I'm convinced it was Heinz served with a slice of white bread. No home baking... pre-bought. Cash only payments...inconvenient. When you go to the counter to pay, they handwrite your order on a pad. Very slow service but people popping in for takeaway coffee served almost instantly. We went there because one or two others locally closed on a Monday, but I'm sure we could have found better.

Great wee place ,lovely breakfast in here and lovely staff.

Visited today and service of food was slow, but most of the food was very tasty. But the dessert was not properly cooked, and on advising staff of this the staff deducted the cost, but were very rude about it, which would not encourage me to return. We had another concern which I will not put in this post as i a aware businesses are struggling to survive in these difficult times.

Friendly staff. Good Covid measures. We had jacket potatoes. Came with big salad and homemade coleslaw, excellent. Good range of cakes but too full! Would definitely recommend.

Of all the places we have visited in Scotland , these ladies had the strictest covid procedures. The toasted sandwiches weren't bad either. Nice fresh salad too! Great morning coffee stop.

This place managed to get the balance just right between being Covid 19 mindful and yet still giving us a relaxed and friendly experience. The food was great and we’ll certainly call again if we’re in the area!

Coffee and biscuits late Friday afternoon, light lunch on the Saturday, both excellent. Very welcoming and cosy little coffee house, friendly, smiling staff. Great menu choice.

The interior is somewhat twee, over decorated with kitch. But hey that's my opinion, and shouldn't detract from the food. Which was decent enough without being stunning. What it did have in its favour was a very reasonable price. Service a little slow. Had macaroni cheese which came with a tasty salad and coleslaw.

Delicious steak pie. Perfectly cooked tender beef with a fantastic beef broth and delicate flaky puff pastry on top.

This is a quaint cafe with friendly and attentive service. It wasn't fast, but the blackboard does tell you that everything is cooked fresh and might take a bit of time. I asked for a BLT that was delightful; it was accompanied by a substantial and tasty salad.

When visiting my parents in Blairgowrie I always pop into the blair coffee house, it has a very warm friendly atmosphere, a wide range of dishes made to order good quality food and very reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly I would whole heartidly recommend this establishment 😁😂

Back to Blairgowrie to meet friends and popped in for coffee but decided to have a meal. When this was served it was delicious although as the sign states we had a bit of a wait as it is all prepared fresh on the premises. The downside of our visit was the young girls who did not seem to know what to do without asking the older woman. Don't let these reviews put you off going in as it is worth the visit. Loved the windows display - gets changed every season.

We stopped for lunch, it’s a bit old and need of a freshen up, the chip frier is behind the till area open in the restaurant (strange set up) so you come out smelling of cooking oil. There were mostly pensioners in the cafe when we were there and I can see why, they do offer a reasonable ‘deal’ of a smaller portion main and a dessert. Food was average and service slow. They do say it’s not fast food but fresh so to be patient, however soup and a toastie doesn’t take that long. One person was served their main then as they were about finished everyone else’s main arrived, odd service. On way back to car we found other nicer places.

I go to blairgowrie Maybe twice a year as my parents live there, I came across this quaint coffee house the place was spotless and the staff were very friendly I ordered a lasagne

Popped in for a quick lunch. I really wanted this to be a good experience as I prefer traditional eateries and things started out well coz the homemade veg soup was lovely. The interior was clean if somewhat dated and there were a few elderly couples dotted around at the same time.I had ordered tea and a toasted tea cake but unfortunately the tea cake never arrived which was a disappointment as I didn't have time to wait any longer as I was on a break from work. The staff were friendly enough albeit they seemed a little harassed. The visit was topped off whereby I was shortchanged by £10 and when this was pointed out I got a polite apology. Shame as I'm not tempted to return because of this first experience

Ordered a Beef burger, chilli chicken sandwich and hot chocolate. Burger was a total disaster-meat was dark, dried out and prepared from frozen. Nothing but the "meat" inside the thing that was supposed to be a bun. Chilli chicken sandwich was kinda ok, just chilli chicken between few slices of bread. Nothing special. And so-called "Royal chocolate"? Nothing but cocoa powder mixed with water(!). For all of this, £15,50. Really? But the absolute top of the visit was this large sign saying something like: "We are not fastfood, we take time to make the best food we possibly can yada yada yada...We cook our meals from fresh ingredients..." Get your stuff together, you two, or find another business to steal peoples money from. I'm out.

Blair Coffee House is a nice small tea shop with a good selection of drinks and cakes at reasonable prices. The staff are also friendly and welcoming.

First visit to Blairgowrie and found several cafes - which one to choose? I entered to be greeted very pleasantly and told to choose a table - so often you enter a cafe not knowing whether it offers table service and left feeling somewhat unwelcome. This was not the case on this occasion and I found the staff to be very friendly. It is a very traditional tea room and I ordered tea and scones. The service was quick and I enjoyed a lovely pot of tea and a fruit scone. My only comment would be that the scone could have been a little fresher but the overall visit was very pleasant.
