Blue Plate Cafe in Kirklees

Travelled up north from london for an event and stumbled upon this lovely cafe for Sunday breakfast. It was delicious. A basic breakfast and our plates were full. Very reasonably priced too.

A hidden gem. Tucked back from the main road, next to the Waterloo tavern pub. A friendly cafe with a homely relaxed feel. Very nice inside with comfy seats and relaxing decor / atmosphere. Had the full English breakfast which was freshly cooked. Good size portions and nice quality sausage, bacon and fresh tomato and mushrooms. Lovely cup of tea to compliment. Will be back.

Come in 1-2 times a week for the full breakfast. Can not fault this place. Absolutely amazing in every aspect. Lovely staff, portion sizes are perfect, the food is so nice and we never leave a bit on the plate - great prices too! Can’t wait for our next visit!!

El mejor desayuno frito en Huddersfield. £5. 50 incluyendo tostadas y té/café. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar pequeño y encantador.

Nos reunimos la familia aquí con bastante frecuencia, la comida es estupenda. Todo bien frescos y bien cocinados (agradable y caliente). El personal es siempre amable. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Great little cafe with friendly staff, fabulous service and really nice food at great value. If you fancy a nice bit of home cooking then pop in.

El servicio es muy bueno, estaba impecablemente limpio, con un ambiente agradable y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente, vale la pena una visita. Had a fantastic breakfast here at the weekend.Top quality produce used I know it comes from the legendary Bolster Moore because i have seen the delivery van.Lovely little cafe with the nice addition of weekend papers to browse whilst enjoying freshly cooked quality fayre.It had a real friendly family vibe and the service was great certainly will be returning here.

We have our lunch in the blue plate most weeks. The food is of good quality and the service is good and friendly.

Immaculately clean with freshly prepared food - I go here for lunch or breakfast several times a week and have never had a complaint. Family run, a friendly welcome guaranteed, expect sandwiches, panninis, omelette, English breakfast and decent coffee!

Very good food at reasonable prices. Not too dear but worth the cost. Clean and tidy and pleasant sevice .
