Thought I'd treat myself as I have a cold and decided to get spicy food. I was so disappointed. The naan and rice were just ok but the curry itself was luke warm, bland and the consistency of tomato soup.

Delicious food here, it's worth trying anything you set your eyes on from the menu. We had mushroom chilly, okra fries, paneer Shashlik and Prawns masala. We overestimated our hunger and had to pack some of it, but loved all of it..

Really great food - high quality, rich flavours, definitely a cut above the average. The dishes were all expertly prepared, spiced and seasoned; great quality meat and vegetarian options. So so good!

Been twice now since this restaurant opened. On both occasions the atmosphere has been vibrant and fun. Lots of people there so it appears to be popular. The service is friendly and there is a nice gap between courses so don't feel rushed at all. The food is really delicious. Special mention of the Grandma's chicken curry I had as a main on Friday evening. I loved it and my other half stole some of my sauce as it was so good. All at what I think is a reasonable price. Bonus is it's practically on my doorstep so I'll definitely be back soon.

Expensive curries, the Tikka Masala was not what was expected and all our meals were far to salty. Won't be ordering from again.

The acid test of an Indian restaurant is how well they do the basics (pappadums, rice etc) and Bombay Flavours were faultless on this score, even as we were first in at 6pm. The service, starters and main courses were equally excellent.

I was going to give these guys a try on just eat first, then saw the price of a simple chicken jalfrezi, £11.95, ridiculous, shalimar up the road same dish £7.50, dont think they're worried about the competition. Get your heads out of the clouds, you'll be shutting down sooner than you think.

We were glad to have booked a table when we arrived to find this very pretty restaurant packed out on a Friday night. The staff were dashing about like headless chickens, and we spoke to 3 before they took us to a table. Having read reviews here, we were a bit worried to see no food on any table, and people doing that twitchy 'looking round at the kitchen' thing. We waited around 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order, and they wouldn't let us order food at the same time, so we'd been there around more than half an hour by the time we put our order in. There were other tables desperately trying to attract staff's attention too. We thought we were going to be in for a bad experience as it all seemed chaotic. However, when our food eventually arrived, it was WONDERFUL! We had crispy fried okra, which was so moreish I could have easily eaten another bowlful, and paneer tikka. Then salmon tikka, Bainghan Bharta - a wonderful aubergine dish - tarka dal and naan bread. The aubergine curry was the star of the show, deep smoky flavour and topped with sticks of fresh ginger. By this time, the restaurant had gone quieter, the staff were serenely going about their business and everyone was fed. It's a shame there are no desserts - we would have happily finished off with a kulfi or something. We will definitely be going again, this is the best Indian food we've had in Macclesfield by a long way, and when the staff settle in a bit more, I'm sure it will run smoothly and successfully.

Friendly place and service was fine. Perhaps not the same ambience as Frenjabi, quite basic fittings although I guess it is street food. Our overall feeling was a real lack of spice and the chutneys served with the Poppadums were quite bland. Will give it another try at some point but there is some stiff competition in the area.

This is the 2nd time I’ve been here. Both times service was slow. First time I went was on Sunday as a party of 6, service was fairly slow but the waiters were more attentive. This time I went with my boyfriend as last time I enjoyed the food. We’re both very disappointed with the long wait. Had to wait 10mins for the drinks, 25mins for starters. Coke and vodka and a glass of lemonade takes 5mins at most. The service looks like a whole traffic jam where no one really knows what they are doing. Staff just looks under trained overall. As someone who’s been in a restaurant business all my life I just want to advise that customer service and time matters a lot. My parents have been chefs most their life, in the past 15 they have had a restaurant of their own so I’ve learned a lot about the restaurant businesses. Before someone starts wondering if there’s anything I actually like… yes the Bombay chaat was such a nice starter, salmon tikka I didn’t really like as it just tasted like salmon even when I drowned it in sauce. Boyfriend had chicken 65 for starters and it was lovely, the mains kalamari lamb had only one highlight which was the heat.

Not a good experience sadly. Meal booked for 7pm, service was very slow. We finally got our meals just before 9pm. My naan bread was cold and stale. The Railway Lamb was very salty to the point I had to leave the sauce. My friend had the chicken shashlik which looked lovely. Good to see the restaurant full and busy, but service needs to be improved. People who came after us had completed their meal and other people were in their table before we received our food!

Well having arranged for 12 of us to attend and booked we had to wait for our table unduely - apparently in front of us came a family who were after our table having misbooked the Wythenshaw branch - we waited and waited at our table for basics - drinks - poppadoms took over an hour - getting a glass of water 90mins - and as for actual food ....well dont come in a group - the gatecrashers got fed and were out before us as did many many tables arriving after us - despite our booking it seemed there was no point - nearly 2 hours later we finally got some food which was delicious - fresh and tasty - DO NOT COME IN A GROUP YOU GET PUT TO THE END OF THE KITCHEN QUEUE AND OTHERS WHO GATECRASH SEEM TO GO FIRST - wouldnt repeat a group experience but would come back for very good food - owners dont take a booking if you cant do the necessary

Really good food with a variety of interesting alternatives. Service was friendly and very efficient. We were originally seated next to a lively large party, but our waiter offered to move us without prompting. Would recommend trying the starters - Bombay Chaat and Gobi Manchurian were tasty and generous. Mains of Railway lamb and Grandma Chicken Curry were superb.

Had 2 curries now both off deliveroo absolutely amazing food... don't read the 1* deliveroo reviews lies... The curry was slightly less then full but I paid £3.50 for a chicken tikka bhuna through the app if you're gonna 1* review that then go Asda a buy a can of chicken curry for £2.50 if your that bothered.... Everyone in the house said one of the best curries we can remember paid £26 on a deal for an absolute boat load of food I'd give 50 stars if I could... Curry was finely balanced between sweet salty and tomato-y chicken tikka was creamy rice was spot on so was the naan bread.... I absolutely praise you tonight guys next time I have a curry will leave another review it was that good... Thanks again!!!

A good madras, or vindaloo usually has a certain look, as do naan breads. I opened the food and was faced with a Vindaloo that didn't look great and a naan bread that looked flat and lifeless. Someone treated me to the meal and I thought oh no, I'll have to force this down now to not look rude. It was actually really good. The naan looked really small in the bag but was actually pretty big once I unwrapped it and had loads of flavour. The curry was lovely. It was slightly towards the hotter end of Vindaloo heat but the flavour was good and it's impossible to eat a curry that hot if it's not nice. I literally had every last drop of sauce. It was really nice. Rice was just plain basmati and was cooked spot on. The guy serving was really friendly in shop and had very good English, making the call to order very easy. Great place, would definitely use again and a fair price too.

Best Indian around, loved the chicken chatt I had tonight, always the best when the chef is on who makes the creamier, korma like sauce. I’d love to meet this glorious man.
