I simply loved this place. The decor is simple but stylish, and the staff are friendly and funny. The menu is creative and the food is mindblowing. They even had some of my favourite Indian music playing. I lived in India for two years and travelled extensively through the region, eating at some excellent restaurants so I am hard to please with this cuisine. Zayna not only met but exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

We had a great dinner at Zayna - the food quality was very high, from the different breads, to the meats, with special mention for the lamb (Baati Gosht, which we ordered twice) and the Pakoras. Wine fairly priced too. Look forward to go back!

Walking on Oxfords street we just wanted Indian restaurant and by luck we found Zayna. Its very good and the staff very friendly. We had one of our best Indian dinners. Highly recommend. We will visit again for sure.

Have dined here several times over three visits to London. The food is consistently better than "curry house", service is personal and appropriate, and the room is much nicer than many in the price range. I'd recommend the black lentils, especially if a vegetarian is in the group. Solid choice if you're nearby.

Restaurant was recommended by regular diners of Zayna restaurant and it did not disappoint. Halal, lovely cosy and clean restaurant.great flavoursome food and good portions. Will definitely recommend and visit next time when we are in London.

Service here was friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is intimate with a real feel of the sub-continent. However the food is distinctly average especially for the price. Maybe I thought Pakistani food would be similar to Indian but it was much blander - both my chicken tikka masala and my wife's dish. No real zing to it at all. The naan breads were nice and the starter veg pakora was ok although it was served with a tiny pot of mint yoghurt. I expected to pay more given the location but no way was this meal worth £73 with £8 service charge automatically added. A real shame as the service and ambiance couldn't be faulted.

Wir haben spontan eine Location zum Dinner gesucht und haben bei Tripidvisor das Zayna gefunden. Die Onlinereservierung hat problemlos funktioniert.Wir wurden sehr höflich und freundlich empfangen. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar und nicht überladen.Die Vorspeisen waren geschmacklich hervorragend. Auch die Hauptgerichte und die Nachspeisen waren super. Die Größe der Portionen waren okay. Daher sind mehrere Gänge kein Problem.Wir empfanden das Essen als sehr gute authentische Küche.

Love this Menu- silky Achari chicken is super yum ( think revolutionary butter chicken) with kutchoomer salad and Ishtu lamb is spicy but super delicious - best thing is dishes are always consistent and they have a take away service too.

Nice restaurant in a good location, close to Marble Arch and the Hyde Park, as well as of the shopping streets of London. Varied and tasty food, Indian but balanced with other international options. Enjoyed the mango salad and the lamb chops with curcuma rice.

I love indian food and wanted to try this as it was close to my hotel, so good that i went twice. The service is nice and friendly and the food is very nice, tasty and even if being a bit hot, it's very well balanced. The bill also wasn't bad at all, considering that you are 5 mins from Marble Arch. Worth every penny and not a tourist trap like many places in the area.

On y mange bien, plats riches en épices variées, service agréable, belle déco. Manque un peu de verdure (mais c'est un travers courant des restaurants indiens) et l'addition est un peu salée. Mais belle soirée.

I went to this restaurant late last year and would defiantly not recommend it to anyone, after seeing the reviews here I thought it would be a great experience but was hugely disappointed with the service + food. I initially reserved a table over the phone and when I got there the guy that worked there was saying they didn't have anything under my name, most likely just gave it to someone else because the wanted the business. Then they said "we can seat you downstairs", which only has two tables and is right next to the toilets. Even after the above experience, I was expecting the food to at least be good but it was well below average. This is defiantly not authentic Pakistani food and you will be left hugely disappointed.I would AVOID this place at all costs.

Il signore che ci ha servito (forse il titolare?) è stato molto simpatico e ha consigliato ad ognuno di noi un piatto in base alle nostre richieste (pollo,agnello,piccante,poco piccante,vegetariano ecc). Il locale è accogliente,il cibo è di qualità,i prezzi nella media di Londra,il ristorante in generale è consigliato.

Wife and I ordered prawns / chilli, marinated lamb chops and a chicken tandoori (green, not usual orange). The meat had obviously been marinated for quite a long time. It was very flavourful - so much so we were full after only two dishes. Service was quick, polite and attentive. Cost was £65. We shall be going back.

I have been coming to Zayna restaurant for the last 3 years, whenever I visit London. I always make the effort to come for a meal here, as well as recommend people I know. However, the last visit I made - I was greeted by a waiter and I asked if there was a table for 2 he said yes, it will be available once some customers leave. It seemed quite busy that evening. I was seated at a temporary table by the door. Once my table was ready, the order was taken. The staff seemed unfriendly, and quite serious. I had to ask for poppadoms and chutneys. Once our food arrived, I ordered a biryani which was semi warm not piping hot as it should be. The lamb chops (starter) consisted of 1 and a half pieces, a small piece and a big one. I tried to catch one of the waiters, but he never came back to ask or check on us as I wanted to order some more drinks. Overall, the food was not as good as before and neither was the service. I think the owner should take some serious action and rethink, as this is a nice restaurant which people come so far away from to eat in when they visit London despite their being so much options. For a little restaurant, it should be easy to make the changes to get the food and service right. I think if this is perfected, then there could be queues at the door of Zayna.

Zayna's is that rarity: an authentic Lahori dining experience set in a fine dining context. The well thought out and delicious food is augmented with a great wine list. The owner and his maitre d' Shahaan are so passionate about the restaurant and this is evident in the service and delivery. My favourite North Indian restaurant in London. Zahid

A menudo he estado aquí y me gustó la comida, pero esta cena tenía poco que recomendar. Lo primero es lo primero que pedí al champán de la casa de deauville que me dijeran que está fuera de los menús y que se sustituyó un poco de champán de la casa sin nombre (barato). Popodoms sin salmuera de cal (no disponible) vinieron aunque logré obtener un poco de salmuera mixta que estaba bien, ish. Llegaron tiendas de corderos y se suponía que debían ser asadas, pero creo que estaban fritas con unas cuantas cebollas quemadas. Taka Dall estaba bien, pero he tenido mejor. El arroz se calentó y la versión barata con unos pocos champiñones picados. Rotti no estaba fresco. La ignominia final fue el jalmon Kalab: básicamente un pequeño cucharón de helado de vainilla y una pequeña gota de jalmon 5 ¿son graves? Resumiendo un montón de comida mal cocinada que de ninguna manera estuvo a la altura de las experiencias en este restaurante.

Sin sentido de presentación y sin esfuerzo para lucir profesional.De todos modos, démosles el beneficio de la duda. Pedimos Achari Chicken y Palak Ghosht (espinacas y cordero), los cuales carecían completamente de sabor. ¡El Palak (espinaca) parecía y sabía que había salido de una lata!Parece que están tratando de emular algunos de los restaurantes más finos de Londres, pero fallan miserablemente.Soy un cocinero aficionado e incluso podría mejorar significativamente con muy poco esfuerzo.Salimos a las 7, habiendo entrado dos comensales más. Visited in July and there were attentive staff and the food was good. Visited yesterday and we were the only people in the restaurant and the food was poor. Starters were no different to a high street take away. Main was ok. The service was not what you expect for the money you pay..not even a hot towel. Would definitely not visit again.

Was in London for couole of days with my family and this place was perfect for a night out. Loved specifically the tikka masala and the wines selections! Staff was very attentive and professional. For sure would recommend!!

We visited this restaurant about seven years back and found it to be reasonable food that is why we came back as we decided not to go to Salloos anymore a restaurant I have frequented for thirty years. The service was absolutely wonderful the young man looking after us Shan was absolutely delightful with great manners, perfect attention and always very attentive towards us the clients. The saving grace for this establishment. The food was horrendously bad not at all authentic and I must ask people interested in good food food to avoid it. Why pay a so much for extra ordinary food? One shouldn’t. With all the bad reviews I have written about Salloos this restaurant is not worth being called a Pakistani restaurant. To be avoided.

Medio ambiente inhóspito - arrogante extremadamente personal - obviamente discriminatoria, no hay ninguna otra explicación. Enfoque para un restaurante chocante. Este es un pequeño lugar bonito y ordenado y estoy seguro los visitantes podrán apreciar el trabajo de madera. Este también está convenientemente situado desde el sitio en el que me alojo. No sorprende que la comida va sorprendentemente bien con salsa de chili dulce y que viene a lo largo de como bañarse, pero la salsa de menta parece haber sido hecha con menta sin sabor y sin especias.

I chose this restaurant to treat my wife on her birthday given the glowing reviews and the perception of an upmarket Pakistani restaurant. We ordered some of the recommended items such as Kutchoomer Salad and Lahori Pusli for starters and Multani Murgh and Ishtu for our mains. Unfortunately the experience was ruined for me when I tucked into the delectable lamb chop (Lahori Pusli) and my first bite detected something that felt like it was not part of the offering....yes, to my disgust I was battling with the sensation of a hair in my mouth that was embedded in the chop.

Just finished a two week trip to Europe with dinner at what has become a favorite of mine in London. The food is great and the wine list creative. If I had one gripe, it is when I get placed downstairs in the basement dining area. It's devoid of any ambiance and is simply a passageway to the toilets. Avoid that downstairs seating area, and even wait for a table upstairs, if you can. Other than that, this place is five stars!

My wife and I were on our walk to go for an Indian dinner when we came across this little gem of a restaurant. The place is very cosy with nice decor. The tandoori pawns were perfectly cooked. All in all a good experience and I recommend this place for a good quality Indian / Pakistani night out.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal here on our last night in London. The service was amazing with great suggestions from our wish list - they suggested half servings so we could try more dishes (great idea). The Baati lamb was perfect and better than I hoped.

Restaurante en la calle nueva quebec zayna, Marylebone es el mejor restaurante de Pakistán se pueden encontrar en el centro de Londres, no muy lejos de Oxford Circus.

On y mange plutôt bien (commander plusieurs plats, un seul ne suffit pas en quantité), mais les serveurs guettent la moindre assiette finie, le moindre verre bu... Au final, on ne reste pas bien longtemps sur place et la sortie au restaurant a un petit goût de bâclé.

Sortie en amoureux pour découvrir la nourriture indienne si fameuse à Londres. Le résultat culinaire est bon, le prix reste assez cher mais l'emplacement y est surement pour quelque chose. Il faut absolument prendre des sides ( pain et riz ) car le plat est assez peu copieux, le vin est quand à lui assez moyen. Mais le plus gros problème vient du service expéditif qui laisse vraiment à désirer au niveau de l'accueil et de la politesse.

Vivimos en París, pero una de las razones por las que viajar a Londres es para disfrutar de la cocina india y pakistaní. Recomendamos encarecidamente Zayna que es a sólo 500 metros de Marble Arch. El acogedor espacio es acogedor y la hospitalidad y el servicio son excelentes. La variedad del menú es amplia y la comida simplemente deliciosa. Así que sin duda esperamos a nuestra próxima visita a nuestro restaurante favorito en Londres.

Was invited by business relation. Didn’t know what to expect and didn’t think about. Just ordered my starter based on recommendation of my host and picked the main course without really knowing what i would get. All was superb. Friendky staff, nice cozy place, nice street! Can’t go wrong if you like Indian food!

I’ll keep this short. The food is an absolute disaster...ordered samosas and a lamb and chicken delicacy. Absolutely pedestrian. Asked for hot sauce and received a watered down Louisiana hot sauce. No hot chillies .... it is very strange how poor this restaurant is. Fool me once blame on you ... fool me twice ? I’ll go elsewhere...
