My partner and spotted this lovely restaurant as we were passing and decided to stop here for a meal. So glad we did,! The food was delicious, beautifully presented and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We will certainly be back to visit again soon

I live 25mins driving from the place, it’s a shame that I can’t eat from here more often. This is the 2nd best Indian food I had in the UK. The food is not amazingly tasty, but it’s freshly prepared rather than just using supermarket bought sauce. Everything is flavourful, I ordered 4 dishes, none of them is below average. You can order blindly. I ordered delivery, there is only 1 piece cut in halves for the naan, I was expecting 2 pieces like other restaurants given the price. Other than this, I can’t tell any unsatisfactory. It’s a perfect place for home meals.

If you’re local, it’s not even worth getting takeaway unless you go for Bombayilicious. 🤤

The food was incredible! I was especially impressed with the quality and freshness of the dishes. A MUST order is the Popcorn Paneer, Koliwada Squid and the Fried Colaba Chicken Burger! Definitely will be back

My partner and I (along with our four month old baby) were walking down to another restaurant, when we walked past this one and thought we would give it a go instead. I'm so happy we did! The food was amazing - we honestly haven't stopped thinking about it and can't wait to eat here again. The peshwari naan was the best I have ever had. The staff were kind, friendly and attentive. The owner suggested putting our little boy in a high chair, which we did (for the first time!) and he was thrilled to be able to see everything. Lovely place and great food - highly recommend.

The food quality here was superb – everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel comfortable from the moment you walked in. The atmosphere was also so calming and inviting. It was so good that I ended up coming here two nights in a row, and both visits were 100% satisfying. Highly recommend!

I can't rate atmosphere as I've never eaten in, just ordered out, but the food is... genuinely the best Indian food I've ever eaten. And I'm Indian myself! Even my own father had to concede it was better than his cooking and I've never heard give up his title as best Indian cook before. The curries are phenomenal, so so flavoursome. even if you get a milder dish like butter chicken or chicken tikka, every bite is a flavour explosion. And the hotter dishes are gorgeous, a slow building heat (their Rajasthani lamb curry!) and so much flavour and the most tender juicy meat! Never had a chewy bit - just tender, melt in your mouth lamb and chicken that breaks apart with little effort. It IS expensive but 10000% worth it, you don't get this level of quality for cheap. It's one place I will always splurge on mainly because every new dish I try is heaven and I can't make my mind up anymore. I used to not even really like biryani much but their lamb biryani changed my life - I crave the stuff! I started of trying their naanwiches and thinking they were a 10/10 and eventually moving onto ordering a curry, not realising their curries were out of this world delicious and creamy and flavoursome and I had to give them a 20/10. I know it seems a bit over the top but honestly, I can't believe they don't have the hype they deserve because the food is so damn good. You will not regret eating here - I've never had a bad experience or a bad dish!

Wow, the food was soooo fresh and Clean! The menu was different but still authentic. Was small and intimate (maybe more take away than dine in) but didn’t put us off! If anything it made us want to go even more as we feel the more smaller restaurants are way more nicer and take more care. The best we’ve had and our new go too! Staff are so friendly and the portion sizes are perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🤩

Ordered from Bombaylicious for the first time for my daughter's 16th birthday a few weeks ago. Food arrived in good time and packed carefully. Ordered samosa chaat, paneer tikka, butter chicken and saag paneer curries with 2 different sorts of naan bread. All the food was actually delicious in taste and appearance so we were very pleased. My only small complaint was that the butter chicken had too much sauce and not enough chicken pieces, and the samosa chaat had very little yogurt in it so it was a bit dry. They both still tasted good but could be better with those improvements. I will definitely be ordering from here again and hopefully become a regular.

Impressed fast service nice food

Unplanned visit at lunch but really glad we went. The fresh Naanwiches were the star, very light and fresh and great tasting, and they can customise the naan (I had garlic and chilli instead of plain for a small extra charge). Gunpowder fries could have been spicier for us but still good and the chana masala was tasty too. Super lovely staff that can't do enough for you and alcohol available as well as soft drinks.

AMAZING RESTAURANT!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND EXCELLENT FOOD . We were here last night dining in table for 2 and had an amazing evening. Asad the owner was so friendly and we were chatting to him for ages. The tarka dhall and the cheese and chilli Nan bread , the curries , the dips , the lamb chops and king prawn, the Sri Lankan mutton rolls . EVERYTHING WAS JUST AMAZING and so tasty and beautifully presented. A lot of effort by Asad lemon slices in drinks and lovely customer service and lovely touches throughout evening. Much appreciate it and thank you . We used to go regularly to the Purley one and loved it. We were so happy to see the other waiter from Purley branch suddenly appear at the Coulsdon branch. His face also lit up when he saw us. I wish people would realise this isn’t your average Indian restaurant with traditional curries . The menu has a real twist to it and it’s more Sri Lankan / South Indian than a typical Bangladeshi style Indian cuisine. Also I am aghast to read some of the reviews how people have ordered food and clearly eaten it and still phone back the restaurant making a complaint to simply get their money back so they end up with both, the food and their money back. Terrible behaviour towards a small business and so selfish of people. Asad has the best customer service skills I’ve ever come across in any restaurant or take away and he makes effort to really reach out to customers so some customers clearly just take the mick. We shall be back to dine in again next week and have already worked out what we will be ordering. Keep up the FABULOUS FOOD AND SERVICE Bombaylicious. Xxxxx ❤️

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in London - really! If you like The Cinnamon Club you will love this! Completely new exciting and innovative menu - cooked to perfection - fresh ingredients and unusual combinations that work brilliantly Highly recommend Malai Broccoli, Moilee Prawns and Tawa Crab with the most soft and fluffy butter naans - Superb! Thought I'd try this place for the 1st time. Ordered the standard chicken korma for my 3 kids which they always love from most restaurants. Food turned up looking like a pale yellow watery curry with no flavour at all. Kids refused to eat it. Now I've read back some of previous reviews and people are saying the same thing. CHANGE YOUR RECIPE OR CHANGE YOUR CHEF.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star it’s overpriced disgusting frozen food covered in salt to hide the decay. Most awful food I’ve ever ordered couldn’t even bring ourselves to eat it. The portions are tiny which is good otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to get it all into my food waste bin. I can’t understand why this place has so many positive reviews obviously the staff are very busy on the review sites because they can’t be very busy serving up that muck. I will 100% never buy from here again 🤮🤮🤮🤮

We had a lovely Mother's Day dinner here last Sunday. We are quite particular with our Indian restaurant food but Bombaylicious completely won us over. The dishes are from all over India. We selected South Indian dishes as we have visited there and the food is very authentic and delicious. The service from Murugan was impeccable. He's attentive and warm and made us feel mostwelcome. The food is very good and very reasonably priced we will definitely be back again!

This was the third visit to Bombaylicious, this time for a takeaway which I ordered on thier website. We had one chicken and one lamb of the lamb Nannwiches whit I was intrigued to try. The flavours are so good and not like the usual curry house. This is a level above and the food is so fresh.

Will never buy from here again. My first order tonight and go's knows what that yellow sauce is*????? Its definitely not korma. Looked like yellow water with no flavour and boiled chicken which was so dry £50 wasted may as well burnt it

Deducted one star for the service charge which was added without asking & Hot water not flowing from the basin in the washroom. The Food was Amazing, the Prawns in Palak or the Sri Lankan Mutton Roll both were brilliant, The Indo Chinese Chilli Chicken is good but needed to be more dry for a starter(it had gravies), the pricing is right for Food but definitely not strategic for the drinks, also, options are a little limited on which they can improve. Now coming on the service charges, if it's optional you just take it out and have the option where the customer gets the option to add a tip amount, that's how I see things operate in most restaurants in London & I would happily add a tip as per my capabilities or simply ask the customer before billing rather than building on our guilty conscience, £4-£6 service charge actually is on the higher side. On the positive side they provided complimentary orange chocolate which really tasted good.

This is a hidden gem! I really love the food from Bombaylicious whether its a dine in or a takeaway experience. The food is always delicious, tasty and very authentic. They really take the time prepare the order to the highest standards and every request is fulfilled with a smile.

Had a great meal delivered tonight. We ordered for our family and the food arrived on time. We enjoyed the spicy Chennai lamb curry and the amazing lamb chops. Also the butter chicken my kids loved. There naans were soft and fluffy. Food was very authentic. Great flavors and spices. Will be ordering more in 2024. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Do not go anywhere near this place. The food was shocking so much so we dumped everything. Better places around. Refused to refund us the money.

I was part of the same order as Linda and I can’t express how disgusting the food was. When calling for a refund, the owner was completely unsympathetic. The reviews/pictures posted previously don’t resemble anything similar to what we were given. Denied the fact that a £120 order of food was cooked in under 20 mins when it was. We threw the whole order away.

Very small restaurant with delicious food and great service. Went with a large group and all had brilliant food. Menu offers some slightly more unusual dishes which was particularly good. Good choice of vegetarian dishes as well. Will definitely be back. Be warned it is only a small restaurant!

I had a disappointing experience with their takeaway. No communication for over an hour post-order, and only when I called, they mentioned the order will now be on the way. The food arrived cold, the chicken and lamb were dry. At £40 for 2 naans, 1 rice, and 1 curry, the price felt unjustified for the quality and service received. To be fair to them our previous dine in experience was a lot better and the food tasted different too. However I cannot recommend their takeaway. Edit: Increasing the rating because the owner reached out and apologised, that’s reflection of good service!
