Lovely experience - great food and incredible staff

If I could rate it higher than a five star I would, this is hands-down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I’ve tried a variety in other cities and this place is on a different level. The flavors are well balanced and absolutely delicious. Also the best mango lassi I’ve ever had. The service was great, they were really nice and seated us without a reservation and even though we were getting close for when we had to leave (for their next reservation) there was no rush from them and still asked if we wanted dessert. We’ve been rushed out from other restaurants before, so this was a nice change to have very nice people. Cannot recommend this place enough, and will be back!

Loved how quickly the food came and when it came, it was definitely delicious. We loved the free drinks at the end. They cleansed our palates full of great food. I really appreciate their behaviour towards customers for they were kind and full of spirit.

Best restaurant in London food is on another level. Staff is so helpful. Specifically Gobi Manchurian, chicken lolipops, lamb curry are the best dishes in restaurant. And the cocktails is on top of that, I would like to highly recommend this restaurant I wl definitely come back.

Went with family who'd been before, and had heard wonderful things about the food - all of which were confirmed! Delicious cooking, most especially the baigan & kachumber, Pani Puri, gobi Manchurian and chili paneer. Excellent for sharing, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Service was really swift, despite it being a Friday evening and packed. Make sure to book a table, this place is deservedly very popular! I'll definitely be coming back when next I'm in town.

Amazing food and amazing service! Very cool vibe inside as well. Pani Puri are a must as is the Dahl dish (lentils). Chicken lollipops are excellent as well if you like spicy food.

A little pricey but definitely high quality Indian food. Everything was delicious! We ordered their mango lassi, railway lamb curry, chicken biryani, poppy plain naan and pani puri. Highly recommend their railway lamb curry & mango lassi! 🥘🥭 We went on a Saturday without a reservation and we didn’t have to wait for a table, but would recommend booking beforehand as it does get quite busy throughout the evenings.

A hidden gem that could be the best Indian restaurant in London. Every dish we ordered was full of authentic flavours and presented so well it wouldn't be fair to highlight any in particular. If that wasn't enough then the cocktail we had (Floating Ember) was so amazing I wished I had tried one of the others too. To top the evening off the service throughout the meal was outstanding. We had to rush away at the end due to other commitments but I can see myself travelling across London for more of the Bonoo magic again soon to be trt all the dishes and drinks I missed out on on my first of many visits.

After seeing venessa feltz rave about banoo i had this on my lists for a long time finally got down to trying it the food is really good and value for money it’s not overwhelming on the taste buds and has good size portions

The menu is appealing and offers a nice variety. The service is friendly but lacking in experience, I think, little things such as receiving food before drinks, beer before water, etc. Some staff take drink orders and some food, and it's all a little chaotic, we've been asked the same questions multiple times by various ppl. Nothing bad, just not quite there yet. It says to order 2-3 dishes per person, which I think is almost too much! Especially the curries were quite big. The okra seemed not quite cooked and were a little disappointing. The buttery chicken and spicy greens are my highlight. £100 for 2ppl, 2 beers, 6 (as recommended) plates, is not cheap. It's a good place to eat. If I'm in the area, I'd come back, but I don't think I would rush back on purpose. Decent food spot

Small, quaint restaurant with a beautiful ambiance inside with flowers and nature. This sets the tone for the amazing meal, where everything is prepared to order. Wonderful wait staff and delicious dishes. We ordered tne Samosas Chat, Buttery Chicken, Lamb Biryani, and the Salmon Tikka...and the Garlic Naan was delicious! Will definitely make this a spot when we come back into town!

We really enjoyed the time. As we are from Germany the true experience of authentic Indian food was quiete different in any good meaning. The word perfect has been created for that place. Special tip: Try the spicy chicken lollipops!

Did not like the food , which was overpriced. Ridiculous to call it Indian Tapas , as Tapas is traditionally Spanish food. Why not Italian haggis ? Bonoo Indian Tapas is in Child's Hill in North West London - just so pretentious to declare it is in Hampstead. Child's Hill is in the borough of Barnet . Hampstead is in the borough of Camden. Quite a number of the newest reviews giving 5 stars have only reviewed one, two or three places ....just saying. Google Reviews should do what City AM newspaper does with reviews . They print the full receipt with the review, you see when they ate, what they ate, and how much they paid. Also it would be fairer for Google not to allow reviewers to delete their own reviews.

Tapas have decent size for their price. Food was tasty, lamb chops were good, truffle Naan didn't have any truffle (just mushrooms). Service really good! Personally I don't like the fake flowers decor. Overall good but not exceptional.

So Indian food can be a bit different across the Atlantic. I love the concept of Indian food as tapas because my friends can try different Indian dishes in one sitting. The quality of the food was amazing. The staff was attentive and courteous. The drinks, my god, generous pours and will make you salivate. Give this place a visit and if you're American, have your taste buds blown away.

What a lovely place. Our superb waitress was Dimple and her customer service was excellent. Food is just delicious. Being vegetarians the options on the menu are fabulous. Happy to return.

Six weeks in London and Bonoo was hands-down the best meal and dining experience we had. Firstly, Bonoo is a small and immaculately decorated in a super-nice suburban area of London. The staff is SUPER friendly and attentive and the food is 10/10. We had three people and ordered a variety of small plates and entrees. Everything was delicious and perfectly spiced. None of us are vegetarians, but if you are, the selection is vast. Our biggest regret is we found Bonoo toward the end of our trip our we would have gone 3-4 times. It's that good...

Another fantastic experience dining at Bonoo! We first came here last year for our anniversary. We enjoyed it so much that we came back a second time. We live in Canada and it’s worth trekking here regardless of where we are staying in London. We have even recommended it to our local friends and came here with a couple of them this time round. This will definitely be our go to every time we’re in town! The food and service are outstanding!

Chirag was so helpful and patient eventhough he could hardly hear me ordering as the line was bad. He provided excellent service and I felt valued as a solo older female customer. Will definitely recommend this restaurant and will be visiting again soon!
