Had fabulous evening, really good menu choices. Every dish was fresh & absolutely spot on 🤩

They served us raw chicken, which was taken off the bill but they could’ve at least taken off the service charge too. The rest of the food was okay but very expensive for what it is.

Lovely experience, the food was delicious, management and staff were very friendly. I love coming to this place, It has such a nice vibe and a great selection of wines by the way. I 100% recommend it, I’ll be back for sure.

The marisco paella at this Spanish gem was absolutely phenomenal packed with fresh, succulent seafood and perfectly seasoned saffron rice, it was a dish to remember. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Authentic flavors, warm ambiance, and top-notch service this place is a must-visit!

The best Tapas in London!! We were a group of 10 having a friends Christmas gathering and were attended to perfectly! The staff are attentive and friendly. Jamie looked after us really well! The dishes were delightful… I can’t choose what was best because they all were! We ordered the mushroom croquettes, man tomatte, arroz negro, honey aubergine, chipirones, huevos rotos, lubina en adobo and pulpo a la gallega. I also highly recommend the desserts! Especially the Spanish cheesecake and the churros con chocolate.

Their multiple awards are definitely a testament to their culinary geniusness, as well as hospitaliy and ambience. They excel at the tapas game. We didn't try their paellas, but I know they are also incredible. If you haven't been, you simply haven't lived. This place needs to be put on your list immediately 📝

Cozy restaurant very well located in Battersea. If you are English and want to enjoy authentic Spanish food, both traditional and haute cuisine, this is your place. If you are Spanish, whether tourism or living in London, I recommend coming here. I was sightseeing and we wanted to eat something Spanish, we stopped here and found dishes with much higher quality than in our city! The staff is very friendly, fast cooking and a very good atmosphere. 100% recommended. We're going back before we go back to Spain.

My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant for 3 years since moving to Battersea, and we couldn’t love it more. It’s our favorite Spanish Restaurant.The staff is incredibly friendly, which makes every visit feel so welcoming and comfortable. The food is fantastic, great quality with a perfect balance between traditional and original. It’s not the typical Spanish tapas bar, every dish has a special touch that makes it unique. We can’t recommend just one dish because we love them all. We also frequently order paellas for delivery, which are always amazing. Another thing we love is how they regularly add new dishes to the menu. It’s great to see their creativity and enjoy something fresh each time. Thank you to the entire team at La Boqueria for always making our experiences so special. Highly recommend!

A great, authentic and affordable Spanish restaurant!

I absolutely love Boqueria, I visit almost every other month and it never disappoints, it’s one of my absolute favourites! The food is delicious, full of flavour and excellent portions for sharing, and the quality and value are phenomenal. The service is amazing, all the people who work here are always so lovely, warm and welcoming and make you feel at home. The atmosphere is gorgeous and I love the transition between day and night with the cozy lights - it’s the perfect place for a catchup with friends, a date or a larger celebration. Can’t recommend enough!

Great Spanish place with good wines

Everything was very good and the waiters were very attentive and were very generous with the dessert and the shot and especially the Cuban girl and the Venezuelan boy...👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever here yesterday (16/11/2024 - 4pm) and my partner and I have been constantly vomiting after eating there due to off food. The staff were completely unfriendly from the beginning and their attitude towards us felt as if they didn’t even want us in the restaurant. The music was so loud that we could barely hear each other and when we asked to turn it down they said no as they don’t have access to the managers office and they wouldn’t even move us to a quieter place even though it was completely dead inside (another table asked to turn the music down too). We had the seafood paella and it was awful and smelt off, the prawns weren’t clean and old, there was so much grit in the other seafood too but nobody came to even check if everything was okay and we felt uncomfortable complaining as the staff was so unfriendly. Even when we paid, we wasn’t asked if everything was okay with the meal or even a thank you. It was genuinely an awful experience all round and a complete waste of money.

The music was so loud that I ended up with a migraine. Despite ordering a table in advance, I asked the staff if they could turn the volume down, but they said the manager's office was closed, and they didn't have the key to adjust it. The staff didn't even bother to check if we were happy with the food, and they looked really miserable, I'm afraid. I won't be coming back.

Lovely service, great atmosphere

We had a delicious meal! We had four excellent starters. The aubergine had the most amazing texture, and was cheesy and savoury. Would suggest getting some bravado on the side. However the steak was even better, the steak sauce combined with the chimmichurri was off the scale. Get this dish! Very nice and tender too but the taste was so so nice. To finish we had the most delicious burnt cheesecake. Was basque Style and was insane 🤯

This is the absolute best restaurant within Battersea. We love the food, service and atmosphere. The staff are incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the food and creat a warm and welcoming space. The food is cooked fresh by excellent chefs and never fails to deliver!! It’s a must visit!

Lovely staff, delicious food. Paella was incredible. Reasonably priced, great wine and the Spanish cheesecake to finish was honestly best I’ve had… and I’ve just come back from Basque region. If you want a nice night out with cracking service would recommend. I promise I’ve not been asked to do this, nor know the owners/workers. Just a great night .

our booking was at 6:30 but we were made to wait 15 minutes before we were seated. then, it was another 30 minutes before any food was served to us. the first thing that came was chorizo. the problem is, we didn’t order chorizo so that was quickly taken away. the actual first thing that came was the tomato bread which was crispy and lovely, but needed some salt which was not provided (we had to steal if from another table once it was vacated). then another 20 minutes passed before we were served our main: the chimichurri sauce steak. one side of it was salted and the other side was sauced which made one side of my mouth salty and the other side saucy. now, you might be wondering, you didn’t order tapas at a spanish restaurant?? but we did. it just hadn’t arrived yet. yes, the mains arrived before the tapas. which isn’t that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, but surely no good spanish restaurant would bring out the mains before the tapas. at this point, we had been in the restaurant for 1 hour and 15 minutes and less than half of our order had arrived. so, we asked the waiter where our food was. magically, almost immediately after asking, one of three of the tapas we ordered arrived. this was the crispy chicken, which can be considered really yummy if i had not been waiting for so long already. the second to come was the pig tacos for which i share the same sentiment with the crispy chicken. the tuna tartare took another reminder to the waiter to come. what js baffling to me is how a raw dish was the last to arrive. needless to say, i am immensely dissatisfied and disappointed with my visit, especially since half the section i was seated in was empty when i was there despite claims of the kitchen being “super busy.” the tables that were filled also got their food at a far more reasonable speed than us. this review would’ve been glowing if the service was reasonable because the food was genuinely good. at least they had the decency to not charge us the 12.5% service fee.

Superb tapas restaurant with excellent personable service. Between the four of us we had a good selection of the tapas and every dish was wonderful. Highlights were the aubergine and honey, chorizo in cider and the burnt cheesecake. Great wine selection as well. Would thoroughly recommend and reasonably priced. We'll be back!

Some of the best tapas I have ever eaten

We came for a date night meal, it appeared busy but staff members were helpful to find us a table. Once seated, service was appalling and we completely ignored after ordered our food. My boyfriend asked if we could add a dish to our order and we were told ‘no, you’ve ordered enough’. I’ve never, ever been told we cannot add food to our order, it’s a tapas restaurant, the whole point is to try lots of different dishes. It’s really unacceptable and we are adults, not children, and deserve to be treated like adults when we are out for a meal. The food was nice but had been sitting for a while, for example the taco bread was stale. Really disappointing and if they were too busy, staff should not have seated us. We won’t be returning as it’s not the first bad experience in this restaurant.

Excellent tapas and kind, efficient service on a Sunday

A bit disappointed. After reading reviews I was expecting something special but I found the Tapas very ordinary. Service was good and portions large but nothing to write home about.

We picked this spot for dinner because we were craving some good tapas, and wow, it did not disappoint. This place is fantastic for Spanish Tapas. The staff—Jaime, Junior, and Anett—were simply incredible. They were attentive, kind, engaging, and knowledgeable, all while maintaining a friendly and relaxed vibe. Seriously, take the time to chat with them; it will enhance your experience. The food was outstanding. We tried what felt like most of the tapas plates, and everything was delicious, especially the croquettes. We also sampled several different bottles of wine, each one better than the last. If you're in the area, you have to add this place to your itinerary. Highly recommended!

Chose this place for dinner as we had been dying for some tapas. What an amazing place for Spanish Tapas. The staff, Jaime, Junior, and Anett, were absolutely amazing. Attentive, kind, engaging, knowledgable, and professional without being stuffy. Chat with them. Engage with them. You will be better for it. The food (we had most of the tapas plates it seemed) was on point, especially the croquettes. We tried several different bottles of wine and each was better than the prior. Put this on your itinerary.

Without exaggeration Boqueria is the best tapas in town, super friendly service, great atmosphere. I go every week. Highly recommend the crispy aubergine with spiced honey and the tuna tartar with avocado . It’s all delicious. It’s a hidden gem! And Junior the manager is hilarious.

Absolutely excellent food, and very lovely staff. I live nearby and go often - it’s the perfect local spot. Never had a dish I didn’t like. Don’t be fooled by appearances on the outside, the place is wonderful inside!
